You are viewing a read-only archive of the Carrion Fields discussion forums built from a snapshot of the forum database on 2026-08-25. The search page works, though it is not as sophisticated as the old forum search. This archive encompasses approximately 25 years of CF discussion. Today, that discussion continues on Discord (see the main website for a link).

Some of the special-purpose forums are listed below along with their replacements (as of writing):

#732, "Dear Santa Zulg"

I know that I've already posted a request (the thing about the saves). I'm sorry that I am posting again, but I thought of another idea.

I think it is cool that an Elf, Dark-Elf and their half-kin can look at something or someone and see that it is (iron) or (mithril). But sometimes it just isn't possible to get a look at your enemy. This would be a very situational useage. But perhaps when a race gets hit by the alloy they are vulnerable to, maybe there could be a little echo attached to it? Not sure if it would be spammy. There are already weapons that have echoes attached to them

Your skin is burned as you are hit by mithril... Or something?

I think this would be completely spammy. The additional damage that you're taking isn't clue enough?

So long, and thanks for all the fish!
