You are viewing a read-only archive of the Carrion Fields discussion forums built from a snapshot of the forum database on 2026-08-25. The search page works, though it is not as sophisticated as the old forum search. This archive encompasses approximately 25 years of CF discussion. Today, that discussion continues on Discord (see the main website for a link).

Some of the special-purpose forums are listed below along with their replacements (as of writing):

I was thinking, given the tedium of gathering preps for non-mage classes (talking about stoneskin potions, elemental resistance potions, etc), would it be a bit more fair if "dispel" and "dispel magic" worked a little less easily on them?

Or maybe just bump the lag for those abilities to two rounds instead of one?

Just a thought. Likely to get shot down but hey, why not?

Try finding a higher level prep...I think the way preps work regarding dispel is fine. I still rarely see anyone use this tactic unless they are sure the person they are fighting is always prepped.

So long, and thanks for all the fish!
