You are viewing a read-only archive of the Carrion Fields discussion forums built from a snapshot of the forum database on 2026-08-25. The search page works, though it is not as sophisticated as the old forum search. This archive encompasses approximately 25 years of CF discussion. Today, that discussion continues on Discord (see the main website for a link).

Some of the special-purpose forums are listed below along with their replacements (as of writing):

#400, "Combine wands/staves/etc"

I suggest a spell or skill that would allow a player to combine the charges of two identical wands, but not allowing it to exceed the maximum charge for a wand.

For example, I have a sleek amber rod with one charge and a sleek amber rod with 3 charges. I combine them, and they turn into one sleek amber rod with 4 charges.

If I were to combine a 2-charge rod and a 3-charge rod, it would still only produce one 4-charge rod.

Maybe this could be a standard high-level mage spell/skill, or maybe a questy-type one like detect artifact. And maybe it could be significantly time-consuming so you shouldn't do it in the heat of a raid situation, etc.
