Since conjurers are the masters of dimensional travel and already have deny summoning and that kaubris anchor.... I though a sort of dimensional anchor spell would fit nicely with the theme of the class. What I vision is an offensive spell targeted at an enemy to impair dimensional shifting.

this would be a spell kinda like curse that the conjie would have to cast on a person and I think it would make sense for them to only be able to anchor one person at a time.

desired affect: impede word of recall, teleport, prevent duo dimension like faerie fire would, and other similar transportation means.

Ways this could work

I think it would be cool if it only worked in proximity to the anchor so only while both conjurer and bound victim are in the same area. Another nifty addition could be a small chance to not only stop the spell but pop the victim at the conjurers feet occasionally. Though perhaps just a fail message (higher chance for people who don't have word or teleport as a spell) and maybe drain some mana from the conjie and an echo saying bob attempted to shift but your anchor held or maybe broke.

other possible affects could be used on servitor to anchor them to a specific room temporarily or to stay in the relm longer. That could have offensive use if aimed against an angry servitor of another conjurer.

I dunno chances are this could be viewed as too much of a power boost to conjies but I think it could also add a dimension to conjurers. a possible downside could be that the conjie can't word/telport while using it.
