You are viewing a read-only archive of the Carrion Fields discussion forums built from a snapshot of the forum database on 2026-08-25. The search page works, though it is not as sophisticated as the old forum search. This archive encompasses approximately 25 years of CF discussion. Today, that discussion continues on Discord (see the main website for a link).

Some of the special-purpose forums are listed below along with their replacements (as of writing):

So that Outlanders don't have to run through the city to get to landmarks such as shrine-age, plains, forests and stuff behind the city.

Hell, any kind of bypass that doesn't involve randomly teleporting would be cool beans.

How about either an echo around level 45-51 for the newbies who join the cabal and don't have that skill yet that they 'feel a strong urge to explore' or 'hear the call of the Ancients beckoning them to explore' or what have you?

Or if that is too complicated, a spell for the leaders to determine if an Outlander has that special skill. I honestly can't remember the last time a leader actually talked to me about it.

I would hope they don't do anything to open the skill up. When I first played an outlander I only knew there was a secret about the cabal that not everyone discovered. When I did stumble on to it, it was a lot of fun, fun which I do not think would have been as great had I been lead to it or given hints.
