Hello.
As I understand, helmets with good AC vs bash helps better against cranials. But still I have more questions:
1. Does material matters?
2. AC vs bash helps against lagging, helps against knock out, helps against damage?
3. Crowns with amazing svs bashing will work same as helmets with the same svs bashing?
4. Does difference in size matters (yes, it's not about helmets, but about cranial). I.e. if I am bigger than my target, will cranial works better? If my target is bigger than me, will my cranial works worse?

Some materials are more likely to have higher AC, but ultimately the AC is the only number you care about.

Lag for sure. Not sure about the others offhand.

You need something that's type armor and not treasure or clothing.

If size differential doesn't disallow cranial entirely I don't believe it's a factor.
