How do you get Champion of Man edge?

Rumors are that it requires imm intervention.

If that's so, can you get it other races besides Human? Which ones?

Beyond possibly some imm exp.

Certainly when I've played a drow exp the guildmaster appeared to imply that normal (but stringent) pre-requisites existed.

I could be wrong though because it's one of those edges that feels like people should be rp'ing it before they take it.
