I guess I'm not a new player anymore but when it comes to Imm interactions I sure am so posting here anyway.
Been praying for Imms during the course of a month now and have sent a note. I been trying to pray during the hours shown on the wizlist. What would be the next course of action? Do I send an Email? Does all Imms have <ImmName>@carrionfields.com?

Well, let me begin by saying that each imm is different. It is rather hard to get in touch with some, while fairly easy with others. As an example I had a char recently with more interaction in the first 15 hours than my last one received in over 200.
As far as prayer goes, I need to ask:
How often are you praying?
How long do you stay in the shrine, if there is one?
Do you simply sit there, or attempt interaction?
Have you made your intentions clear to others IC?
Does your role outline your beliefs?
Each question can play a large part in interaction of any kind. The main suggestion I can give is make yourself known to lots of people and someone will notice you. Another big part is patients. Last to answer your questions: Yes, Yes, and I'm not 100% but I'd bet Yes.

Ones or twice every login.

10-20 mins

Mostly sit there but sometimes some emotes escape me.

Yes

Yes
