You are viewing a read-only archive of the Carrion Fields discussion forums built from a snapshot of the forum database on 2026-08-25. The search page works, though it is not as sophisticated as the old forum search. This archive encompasses approximately 25 years of CF discussion. Today, that discussion continues on Discord (see the main website for a link).

Some of the special-purpose forums are listed below along with their replacements (as of writing):

#1133, "Mark of the prey"

If I were to use mark of the prey on someone lower than level 10 or outside of my PK range, can I still kill them, or will I have to wait until I can attack them? Also, if I or my victim quit, will they still be marked by me?

They have to be in your pk range for you to kill them, no matter the circumstances. Mark of the prey just lets you see the person.

If they quit they will no longer be marked. If they quit deliberately to ditch your mark, then please notify the immortals and we'll look into it as a rules violation.

Anyone who isn't confused really doesn't understand the situation.
