Why would you insult a Scion for no reason when they are

B: Have their vast network of allies make your life hell
because you are not in range.

This is a game where the gods play chess, and as mortals age
they get their own pawns.

If you did whine so much, why were you the one breaking rp?
What kinda rp was it to whine? Sphere whine perhaps. If someone
is not playing by the rules, talk to the IMMS. If someone
is rping a coward and opportunist, deal with it in game. Lead
by example, not being complaining oocly in an ic fashion.

What's a gamer supposed to do? I want to follow the rules, treat other fellow gamers with respect, roleplay for fun (not perks) and enjoy my time online. I feel like I'm alone on this sentiment.

I think this game has a lot of griefers and powergamers. I think folks skirt the rules and collaborate when they're not supposed to. I think that the community is hostile towards each other, and there isn't much respect floating around.

I guess I'm a whiner.



On a separate note, I will only roll good-aligned characters in the future. Team evil's griefers need their ass kicked.

Powergamers? Sure. But I don't really have a problem with that depending on how you define "powergamer". I define "powergamer" as "someone who typically chooses play combos that lend themselves to PK and spends the majority of his or her time trying to PK people".

As for the "griefers" I think you'll find two things to be true:

1. Often it's the same people being douchey over and over again. This may result in the number of douchebag players appearing to be larger than it actually is.

2. There's another category of player that is quite happy to "grief selectively" based on some set of criteria. That is to say the way you act in game may influence the extent to which your character is treated punitively.

I think you'll find that douchey players don't limit themselves to playing only Team Evil.

I was a powergamer on Cagubrak because I "only played" for Imm rewards apparently... vestments and revenants, none of which did much.

Many play for the same reasons. I like your attitude. Remember the quote, one bad apple can spoil the whole bunch. Can, not will. Don't let is spoil your fun. Don't let it get to you, its possible with focus and all that jazz. I don't think evil griefs that bad, they get their asses raped pretty bad. Look at scion activity, look at empire. They get theirs as I have been playing alot of those recently.
