Thank you for the honorable mention. We travelled very briefly in the early ranks, and I was hoping to fight alongside you when I eventually played the character indepth. I could tell right from the start that you were a measured, thinking player, who counted behaviour over pking success, which is something I always admire. There are lots of people who play the game to wrack up as many kills as possible, which is fine, but the dimension of courtesy, restraint and self-sacrifice adds an element that inspires me, even in real life.

I agree of course with your assessment of Shokai, and the Maran, as well as the topics of overpower, etc. I hope we will fight alongside one another in another of your incarnation.

Rather sudden for myself also. Call it a fit of rage or disgust but I just could not get into this character like I wanted to. Wracking up the mob deaths and the deaths by Pk also left me with a bitter taste on my tongue. Regardless, I enjoyed some moments of it and wish I hadn't deleted so suddenly. Oh well:

Sylvan: Didn't know any of you.

Tribunal: Gormarn and Malcore were the only two I encountered. Both memorable. Can't believe you found me held by a petite Gormarn. What I can't believe even more is that the hold seemed to last forever. Cool points to you for not keeping my gear. First and only warrant also.

Malcore: ranked with you and really didn't want to have to fight you but you've your duty as I have mine. Thanks for being a companion through the drow city.

Battle: Davrin, Torrakel and Sharisalk. Doing a great job Sharisalk, I was one letter from applying to the village to offer my insights on war. Davrin - headstrong and semi-newbish. Try not to linger over gear so much? Torrakel: thanks for the help ranking. Wish you would have talked more.

Warlock & Dawn: Special mention to Cabingsnor, Ambrose and Andulvar and Arvidor. Three very selfless characters that would go out of their way for anyone. Hope you enjoyed the palace as much as I did Andulvar.

My only negative about Warlock and Dawn is that Warlocks (some individuals) don't even show up to defend. They usually abandon you in a raid and I've come to expect to protect the incompetant and hope I come out of any battle without dying.

Entropy: Dariana gets cool points for being chaotic.

Nexus: Two gnomes came to mind. What I found disgusting is that they didn't really seem to try to remedy the balance. They just took advantage of any battles that they could jump in on. Whoever was loosing they'd make sure to help kill. No wonder your cabal has it so bad off, you bring it on yourself.

Scarab: Didn't encounter any of you either.

Scion: Special mention goes out to Turgesn, Karvanex. I like knowing that you two have the guts to stick it out even when no other Scions are around.

Astirath, Waskes, Tikar: While I admire the depth of your evilness and I know I'm not there to encounter it more often there were a few incidents that just completely pissed me off.

Waskes: you killed me, looted me with charmies and then nofollowed your pets. For some reason that got under my skin. I'd at least like to know I have a chance of getting it back or that you put it to use. Seemed to cheapen my experience with you.

Astirath and Tikar: Both badasses in their own way but it does you an injustice to go around spam killing people even when they are trying to avoid you. It lit a fire up my rear just to turn around and do the same. Too bad I didn't have the chance.

Nightwalkers: Bad mofos. I seemed to dislike you most.

Sargon: Probably my most notable companion. You are an extremely devoted character. The only problem was that you didn't know where to devote yourself. I'm glad you're working out your indecisions with Battle and based on the whoopin' you gave Tikar, I'm not surprised. Good luck with things.

Maran:

Bessian and Pohanad are two of the most unique characters I've encountered. Pohanad is just outright hilarious and I enjoyed every moment spent with you. Thanks for being one of the bright spots in all of the darkness. Bessian, you will end up going places. Good to see a noble paladin.

Maran thief (won't name you for privacy sake) - Cool points to you for being everywhere at once.

Final thoughts:
Shokai - you have an extremely great cabal. Your interview and uplifting of my spirit when it was battered really speaks volumes for you. Thanks you for spending that afternoon speaking with me about the cabal.

I tried challenging myself by going with a warrior rather than a Paladin in Maran. Dagger spec was another challenge I wanted to add to it. I had every skill but concealed attack mastered and I couldn't get that to budge from 76. Very strategic and fun and the amount of damage a giant pumps out with daggers is insane. I'll definately try it again sometime. I realize I didn't give this character a chance. I deleted somewhere under 100 hours and that does no justice to any character. I did see the demands placed on Maran. Ft. Goodie isn't really overpowered. Put yourself on that side of the coin and you would understand. In my opinion, Maran is the HARDEST cabal to play. Not only in cabal restrictions but they have it worse off than Battle by far.

I really enjoyed having another one around and you were shaping up to be quite a friend, sad to see you go. Not really much I can say but thanks for the good times and thanks for sticking through the bad as much as you did, trust me I know it can get kinda hectic.

Thanks for the mention somewhere up there. I'll stay anonymous until I end up deleting, dying of old age or con dying. Whichever comes first (Bets on con dying!!!). But you were a good one to hang with even though you only hung around for a short time in the hero ranks. Unfortunately due to personal matters I am unable to log on as often so I sort of missed any opportunity to hang with ya. Rage deletion sucks but god knows sometimes it can be damn fun to be multi-killed numerous times within a day. Just need to make a game out of it... How many times will they kill me before they finally back off? Or some such.

As for your note about Servants and Dawnies not defending often. Could simply be numbers are not good. Could also be that we're in a bind when the raid comes (Damn sands of sorrow!). So don't be so hard on the Dawn and Warlocks.

For the record, I never actually search out people to spam kill them (after I kill them once I stop looking for them). If I happen to see them though, i'll have to go after them. As far as Tikar and I go, bitch out the imms for the way unholy weapons and controls work, cause everything we were doing was for a completely functional purpose.

My thanks for the mention Golasghil. I must say after my fights with you and a few other warriors who have taken mace I give some thought to trying to find a thicker helm. That skill alone grants a warrior the ability to go against classes that would normally tool them. Well played from the few brief talks we had, it was nice not fighting a lion, tiger, eagle, manta, mongoose, ram, orangatang, ect... Keep denting and I will see you in the fields.

This probably shouldn't bother me, but I'd like to go on record saying that the opinions of an 88 hour hero who rage deletes isn't worth squat on cabal defense. Most of the Warlocks have spent more time in Thera then you just perfecting their necessary spells. Please forgive them for having a longer term opinion of the world then just "kill-defend-raid".

Come back when you feel like sticking to a real character.

It seemed like you weren't around long enough. I only interacted with you for a short time, but this character/player felt like Golasghil was a character to go to war with.
