Well, I'de say it was fun but it wasnt. My second stab at a goodie and a fortie right after Pernth. Neither seems to be in my bag of tricks so im going back to evils. Monks, are the absolute suck. <--- period. Should have kept him deleted at mid-30s but was hoping it would get better towards hero. Ill never do another class/cabal that is imm-dependent for more powers.

Btw, Pernth was good and quite deadly.

Guess monks really sucks. For some reason, Dero was FRAIL. Very. I'd outdamage you as a shaman even without dispelling.

Liked that you had balls and didn't run from a difficult fights.

It's not monks who realy suck it's players who can't make them shine. Granted I was only on recieving end of any pally build but there was serious difference between monks played by different players. Though I'd still be more vary of shield or two-handed pally. Maybe again because players haven't yet figured how to make monks work.

I'm curious. Is there any decent logs of decent monks?

There wasn't a whole lot he could do as a monk before he was done.

It was almost like mechanically the character was mediocre cool bare handed and really good with a shield and other weapon.

It had nothing to do with Dero's player who clearly knew his stuff. He was simply physically limited by the mechanics of the build.

Yea been playing for over ten years now though most of the time it doesnt show, meh. My pk fights just seemed like they wouldnt last more than 3-4 rounds with no shield/weapon. And spamming co wrath is just well boring.
