You were really a lot of fun. I thought it was the classic "mark-sister" move when you helped me free that Villager from Sirine Island (even though he was your enemy) - just because I asked! I laughed out loud a lot at your antics in the mansion, too. Especially the dance where you ended up tripping yourself and bashing your face into the tree.
You'll be missed.

Well this actually wasn't a rage delete. I logged on checking to see if I had a certain note responded to, and if it wasn't I was going to delete. I tried to retrieve and died, so that was the point of deletion really. Since I hadn't intended on staying to begin with.
Arvam- coolest imm I've ever been under. You give lots and lots of interaction, and really let a person be their own character. You know I hadn't really intended Lydian to be that clumsy, but hey once it set in, it was permanent, heh. Thanks for all the great powers, and for the title and tattoo.
Shokai- I love your cabal, obviously since I've had 3 marans in a row, but I can't do it for a while again man. Didn't get any kind of interaction from ya for 250 hours. I know the circumstances, so no hard feelings, and no need for sorry's. I'll be back in some form or another later, but I need a maran break. Also I swear to god I almost soiled myself when I made that comment in Arvam's shrine, and you came uncloaked to let me know you were there. (I don't know if the healer thing will still be done some way or not, I just couldn't play her anymore, she got really boring all of a sudden)
Bria- thanks for cleansin my soul. Your one of my favorite imms, and I think that your religion is pretty neat as well. Only thing..... I thought the ice cream thing was kind of lame... *chuckle*. Keep up the good work and thanks for the interaction though.
Vynmylak- My mentor, my teacher, my seneschal, my blesser of practice weapons... You'd really be surprised how much your presence can rally the troops. It was good havin you around, and thanks for takin the time to congratulate me for things, or giving advice.
Ulthur- Great friend, and someone good to have at your back. Congrats on the title my friend. I remember you and I having a strike of faith competition all the way up the ranks, and you had such a hard time learning it. Keep the faith, and stay strong, I don't mean to leave you in the lurch. This character just soured for me suddenly.
Aliera- for the love of god, their going to have to scrape your festering corpse out of the fortress, you've been there forever. Your a great warrior, and really tough, keep up the good work
Rolagos- it was fun exploring the lab with you, but are you even around anymore? You got to hero, and *poof* you were gone.
Karhon- great fighter and brother in arms. I rarely saw you fall, and you always left them with a lingering reason for not fighting you.
Tynnyn- awesome warrior, and we really made a team. It was really fun when the lich was around, and I had just made the marans. I hope you find the time to be around more, the marans need you now.
Abthalok- another great paladin to have at my back. I still disagreed with the summoning thing, but I wasn't going to do it and disturb the peace.
Sahvik- I hope your ass attitude is a character thing, because you could really lay it on sometimes.
Jelare- I liked you a lot, and you are pretty spunky for a dawn healer. Keep up the good work, and i think your open attitude is a great tribute to your cabal.
Lysrieal- Thanks for the help re-equipping sometimes. Your another character I liked a lot, but my advice would be spend less time gettin uber clothes, and more time helping. No offense, you just seemed greedy sometimes.
Gorach- wuss (that's all you get for not mentioning me *snicker*)
Wasarbre- hell of a leader to follow around, you had some serious courage, and helped me see what I should do at the hero ranks.
Doriah- very cool at first, but once you got obsessed with your age, you became not very fun to be around. Plus the whole thing abou the war with the tower.
Lardovian- great person to travel with, and raid with. We had some really nice talks, and were able to just relax a little bit in each other's presence. You do a great job, I hope you stick around.
Shila- hard to understand what your saying sometimes, but your an interesting character. Never knew quite what to make of you.
Finduthilas- ya know you could have parted with some of those pendants, amulets, and stuff. heh. Just kidding, you just made me jealous a bit. Thanks for helpin me kill that thing at the bottom of the ar'touldain keep.
Scions- I'm sorry but I don't think I'm ever going to be able to make one of you guys. It just leaves a nasty taste in my mouth to think about it. Very few of you guys I respected, and none of them are alive now.
I'm sure I forgot some people, let me know

I regret being so damn overwhelmed during most of my playtime that I never got to interact on the level I wanted to with you.
I thought you were very competant and you definatly were a blast to travel about with. We think alike in the way we play and you do one hell of a job with the whole maran thing. I tried to play a maran before but couldnt handle not hearing a peep from an Imm for over 100 hours of trying....you must know some secret.
Hope to see your new 'form' sooner than later.

Completely IC, I'm not really an ass, I promise. But I will say that there were somethings you did that really had me wondering. Overall I enjoyed the interactions, and yeah, I'm an ass, Somebody has to be with all the stuff going on around the fortress. More when I die.

What can I say... you played a great character. I enjoyed every moment watching and interacting with you. I always looked forward to seeing you enter the realms and seeing what you would do, and I never once forgot that I'd blessed that lowbie weapon after the first reminder you gave me. I think the most memorable fight I saw was watching you fight the Hunt in the Fortress that night, twice.
In any event, I'll greatly miss your active presence, and hoping you don't need that long of a break from the Brigade.
Good luck in your next endeavor.

Well damn. This wasn't one of the posts I had expected to see on this board for a while yet. I liked Lydian a lot even if we didn't get to travel as much as we perhaps could have done but that's the way it is I suppose. Hope you'll be back soon

I remember the excitement whenever I would log in and see Lydian was on. One of the coolest things about Lydian was the way she jumped into everything head first, without even waiting for help from anyone. Like this one time we were gonna raid the Chasm against a couple scions, and we were all gathering at the Fortress, and I said something like 'Lydian, where are you?' And you said 'I'm there.' I just had to laugh and think 'Figures'. I also remember the time Lydian tried finding Karhon's sensitive side in Tar Valon. It was pretty fun playing that out. So anyways, well done.

At first I figured it was a rage delete, then I got to thinking about it, and decided you had probably meant to delete anyway. Those of us who started back when the lich and his cronies were in their prime already have to be immune to rage-deletes.
I remember when I first met you, and you were already near to perfecting strike of purity, while my strike of faith was only at like, 85%, and not moving. I had a horrible time with that first one, yeesh. Anyway, it's hard not to have a character stagnate once you've heroed and become cabaled, tattooed and titled. There's only so much exploring you can do, and with the Inferno closed, there's even less. Once the friends and enemies you ranked up with start to disappear, well...
Thanks for the fun times, we'll miss you in the Fortress. Good luck.

Damn straight I'm the coolest Imm. Er, moving right along though..
I thought you did one helluva job meshing the religion with a paladin. You probably did the best job of both being a good paladin, while staying a good Arvite, without having one hurt the other in some way. I felt kinda bad though since right after I empowered you I got froze up for my vacation and I couldn't really do anything with you. I think you were in the 40's by the time we finally interacted again. Anyways, you did good, put up a lot of good fights that I saw, and roleplayed well. Glad you had fun!

I knew I met you before, you had something .. familiar, and now that I see you've been Jasmin too, I understand .. anyways, we had lots of fun traveling together, although in the end (when Gorach was still alive) you didn't show up all that often (or perhaps we just missed each other by an inch, who will tell).. as I said, I loved to drag you around to all places and to hunt and retrieve too of course .. too bad Gorach died so soon, it looks like the scales are tipping in favor of the evil guys now (my next goodie is coming up, though }> .. anyways, hope to see you around in the fields .. btw, if you have any logs of us, post them will you ?

Youve been around since Barilan was created. Truth be told, growing up Barilan used Lydian of a prime example of how a passionate paladin should be. We shared the same lord, the same passions, and you were damn good on it. Rock solid and able to hold your own ground, you always were down to take up the sword to some evil, wherever it may be. Its upsetting that youre gone, but you did extremely well as paladin, and a maran. I also managed to learn a good deal from you in our travels, you never ceased to impress me in battle and in the roleplaying end. You deserved every inch you earned with Lydian, well done and good luck with the next.
Barilan
