I rolled Jorget because my other character was boring me to a fearful death. He will be showing up on the graveyard at some point, I guess. Jorget, unlike most of my other characters, was not made for exploring, or even pking. He was just to play around with, talk to some people, have some fun, and then ask to heroimm, if I managed to be done before the fall semester. I move tomorrow, and I didn't accomplish what I had wanted to. It's time for a nice little break, to allow for school to take priority.

I should never have rolled another ranger. It was just ridiculous. I promised myself with this one that I'd be peaceful. It turned out that most of my pk's were boring to me anyhow.

Goodbyes hereforth.

IMMS:
You have made a great game that I've enjoyed for years. It's truly a shame that you feal(t) the need to close 9 of the ~17 explorer areas. Since I love exploring, I feel that somewhat hurt my drive to play. I'm sorry for all the ##### that players put you through, myself included, and I hope you can find it in your hearts to be as interactive and enjoy this game as much as I know you once did.
All of the behind-the-scenes work is fantastic, and it is underappreciated for the most part, but thank you for it. It was something I had looked forward to helping with if given the chance to immort, but it's not meant to be right now.
I don't want to give special thanks to any immortal in particular, because only three have ever left a bitter taste with me, but I think even they deserve credit. To all of you, Thank you.

I suppose I'll break the rest into cabals.
Nexus:
I travelled with two of you, and one wasn't that helpful. The one wasn't willing to help kill a scion who entered the area we were ranking in, even though my range was us three, two ragers, and eight scion. *shrug*
To Arcleea; thanks for the help and fun. I wish we could have done it more, but it wasn't meant to be. I hear you got booted, sorry about that. Keep on truckin.
Dysvarden; I'm really quite sorry. I stumbled across two conjurers. Typically, I would have left, knowing that it was futile to fight you, and being a peaceful soul. But...I just had to utilize bearcharge in its full capacity. It's not often I get that chance. Left you your gear, and didn't mind doing it, especially with Turlis' angel beating the hell out of me. Good luck, as a neutral conjurer, I think you'll need it.

Battle:
Rorimac; please Stfu. You not only challenged me to fight you, but convinced me as a player and a character to do so. A shame you died to a ranger 8 levels under you on your own terms, at your own place. Hollaring "GANGBANG" afterwards was just pathetic, seeing as it was only us two there, and you knew it. I returned almost all of your things. In the end, I gave a mace to a wandering-by storm giant while sorting through your gear, and "gave" the mask of sehktan-rah to Deigreck. I think it helped him more than me hoarding it or you =wearing= it would have.
Owagwyn; I'm sorry I killed you how I did. I know you would have been much happier to have taken an ambush death, but I just wasn't in the waiting mood. Saying that you died because you were naked and injured was pathetic of you. You were geared and within 10% of full hp. You died because you let me kill you. But, it's never a rager's fault when they die, it's the circumstances.
Yror; I'm sorry that I stole a kill from you. I really did like you, and I didn't realize that you were fighting, so I ran in to kill that damn warlock, and got avalanched, and did enough damage to finish him off. I hope you do well.

Tribunal:
Not alot of you come to mind.
------------------------------------
A flabby toad-like demon squats here, croaking and burbling.
Dust and debris swirl around in a column of gale-force wind.
(Hide) Sukilan is here.
Zschiesalda is here.
A special guard from Galadon is here, enforcing the Law.
A special guard from Galadon is here, enforcing the Law.
Deigreck is here.
Vharkzamir is here.
Eskelian is here.
------------------------------------
First pk-death. Second came later to Deigreck and Eskelian, guards and undead, but no outsiders.
Deigreck; Good job liching. I'm glad that I was able to help with that, though in character I would have even hunted you in the city to prevent it. You were a good opponent for me, I always kept three eyes open for you, and a means of escape ready. You made me laugh that one time, though, thinking that I was going to let you kill me until I sent you running with an ambush through wraithform. You made two of my three pk deaths happen. Kudos.
Eskelian; I died because of a bug while trying to send you running from the grove, I became visible without realizing it. Deigreck killed me. Between you, him, undead, and guards, you could have left me less than naked. But you didn't. Thank you, and congratulations on being a vindicator.
I wanted a chance to fight both of you again while I was at the same level as you, but that wasn't meant to be.
Ilyatur; You're my humor. Don't try to tell me what I am. I never did any of what you said. I was waiting for you to repeat those words while you were in my pk-range, to see if you were daring enough to say them to my face. After your talking down on Artose, I asked two younger sylvans to kill you. Sorry. About the fire giant with them...there's nothing wrong with that. Sylvan is not Maran.
Oh yea, Uelveyye, don't try to make demands to Sylvan. You're not really in any position to. I took the scales with Sahannara just to prove that point.

Scion:
Aquelemiya; You are my humor. I wasn't about to let you just walk up and PK me. How you let me stand there and kill you after you attacked me is just beyond me. I left almost everything in your corpse, but you quit too soon for that to matter. Later, you acted like we could be friends. I did remember you, I just didn't fear you, so I didn't care.
Lusrahanlf; See Aquelemiya, but it took an extra three minutes to get you.
Temahri, Yllyssythyd, Zqoema, Radjan; You sicken me. Three assassins and a warrior, four nightwalkers. What the hell does it take to PK these days? The fact that you let me live sickens me. The fact that I killed two of you sickens me. If you're going to gangbang, go learn from the Diku clan. They were doing it right two years ago, and you can't even do it right now?
Farden; Sorry for killing you. I thought you had yelled "I'm near dude" You actually yelled "I'm naked dude". I left you the half-set that you had.

Didn't interact with too many scions, because I only ever retrieved, and it only needed to be done when I was rank 26-35. After that, scions never bothered taking the sapling. You people need to get your teamwork together. When I'm fighting one of your own, your outer guardian, and an orc you called in, with an invoker hero standing by, you should not have let the two defenders flee, and the outer fall. Invokers have more uses than casting geyser.

Dawn:
I liked you, Gromez. Stick with it and good luck. Don't let the Gromezy thing bother you, just kill the jackass a few times.
Sahvik (sp). I'm sorry for what my group did. The plan was to kill the warlock and haul ass before you had to do any of what you did. We made you kill a goodie, and I'm sorry for that. Good luck, and try to pick up the cabal. Some of my fonder memories were with Dawnies, though you'd never induct my unempowered healer.

Orc Clan:
You didn't scare me, because Two characters before Jorget, I played an orc. I knew what you could do and when, and often was able to predict your actions. To Sogorimok, I apologize, because it appears that one of my age-old tactics was a bug. But hey, at least you lived.

Scarab:
Uulgraz; I had you dead in my sights, crept up, and waylayed. You were inanimate. I figured that you hadn't done it on purpose, so I stuck around in the area to see if you'd come back. You didn't. I didn't report you, figuring it wasn't a rules violation. I made sure to keep an eye out for you, though, whenever you were around. At some point or another, every scarab feels the urge to fight a sylvan :p

Entropy:
Duergar A-P who will rename nameless (Since I forget his name); I wasn't falling for that. Not even my character was falling for that. You talk like an elf and remain a Duergar. It's amazing how chaotic doppel is, isn't it?
Ransleyr: You're strange. I know why you expected me to want those things, but I simply didn't. *shrug* Take it easy.

Maran:
Don't think I saw any of you.

Warlock:
I didn't want the war, and I didn't assume you still did. When a warlock attacked me under full shields and sanctuary, I decided that it was time to bring the ruckus. I killed two invokers, a conjurer, and made a handful of others run. You guys need to tone it down and remember that tome wasn't given to you for getting better at PKing, it's all about studying magic and stuff. I wish you were masters and not warlocks.

Sylvan:
Sorry about all this. I put myself through hell to get inducted. I purposely made fun of the leader's accent, and the leader/honcho's religion. I hated the K'sra #####. I still do, and I always will. I always looked for applicants online once I was a warder. And when they'd talk to me with Alysrith's language, I would just tell them to speak to me another time, in another way. I'm not sure they ever figured that one out. I think it pissed a few people off that I was buying things in the city. The problem was that it was explained in my role, and you never convinced me not to. You said "That's bad."

Alysrith; Thank you for helping me with that axe. Thank you for inducting me. Thank you for putting up with me. Thank you for congratulating me every time I hollared something I'd done over CB. Not alot of people would have, and it made me smile a little, even if I never knew wtf you were saying after Good or Congrad. You seem to be doing quite well, please keep it up.
Simyar; You're a pushy ranker. I'm a reluctant ranker. That caused some tension. You agreed with me that when people start dying, it's time to take it a bit easier. But you were a transmuter who knew what they were doing, and it was a pleasure telling you a few prep locations, and travelling with you all that time. Thanks for helping me get that axe.
Thorgard; I smell potential for great things. The way you walk and talk reminds me of someone from a while's past. Show the world what a sylvan shaman was made for. I liked you from the moment I interviewed you.
Sahannara; You're getting old. I somewhat know why you didn't like me after our interview. I was pushing buttons for something to do, but I'm glad it didn't stand in our way as packmates. Keep on trucking, and I'm glad you went and got those you-know-whats from you-know-where. Telling you about it was one of the few times that I overstepped my rank and told a hero what to do/how. Didn't mean disrespect, just trying to help.
Jhaolyren; I was happy to help you, even though you were made during a time of sylvans that I never really liked any of. They were just...off-par. I hope you keep showing up, and give them hell.
Axike; I'm *SO* sorry that I had to delete. I wanted to see you hero. If you were on every time I was, I probably would have hero'd you myself. Talking to you was always a pleasure, and I hope that your character isn't a figment of the past. I sensed an old friend in you, but couldn't figure out a good way to confirm that. Were you who I think? Oh, and I actually found a way to be your size, without you enlarging. It requires abusing a bug and dual-reducing. I'm thinking that the same thing could be done for dual-enlarging, but I've used too many bugs in my day to have wanted to try it. Grow!
Meelus; It was fun to be with you. Where'd you run off to? We travelled a bit, you convinced me to kill Owagwyn, and you were just a fun little guy. You also saved me from the hands of an impending rager-gang by listening to my requests. Thanks there, hope you do well in the long run. *hugs you with his forefinger*
Artose; Was good to be with you, too. I'm quite impressed with your progress. And the fact that you have enough patience to wait for empowerment speaks zounds. You have a nice role, stick to it. Good things often await around the corner.
Tusseltass and Cerunnir; I liiked both of you during and after my interviews. I think that it's a shame you both died off so soon thereafter. I hope you enjoy whatever you're up to.
Shalven; I have nothing nice to say, so I won't say anything else.
Blimbali; I really liked you. The char's RP is cool, the pk is growing on you, I think, and you're doing pretty well. Mix in a little bit of preparation, and you'll be a truly sick character. Attacking a healer with a swarm of shawtabbies was a bit unthinkable to me, seeing as you had a vuln to them, and didn't warn us or ask for a shield potion, even. Good luck, and carry on the pack.
Ranger I gave my gear to, carry on the torch. I've already forgotten your name, and I'm sorry. My brain's dying, and not slowly.
Cloud warrior; I liked you. You also reminded me of an old 'friend', and it was good having you around. However, I heard some bad things about you, and can't remember your name. G-something.

Uncabal/Unknown caballers:
Dromikar; Sorry. Killing you in the mists was my way of telling you to leave. You didn't. I left after about a half-hour of practicing, which was more than I even wanted. Think you deleted after threatening my life.
Anduin: You were the only person to kill me solo. I figured that it'd get close, but I figured I could pull a fourth round out with aura/shield on my side. I should have popped a stone skin, I guess. Good job killing me, and thanks for not full looting. You left me plenty to give to a young sylvan. You have a trick up your sleeve that I don't quite understand, but I have some guesses at. Don't be a Menace to South Central.
Acilia: You were willing to help me, even though you'd never seen me before and never did again. Things like that make me reconsider some of the things I'd say about the playerbase in general. I noticed you deleted. Good luck, there.
Theddledim: You were one of the few characters I trusted IC. Even alot of Sylvans raised my suspitions as possible Scion spies. You and me got along rather well, and even though people didn't like how you acted, we somehow soothed each others' misgivings. I never got to talk to Shalven about his screwing with you, because I only saw him once after I discussed it with you, and it was about a month down the line, and I totally forgot. I'm really sorry. IM me and I'll explain to you what I think happened. Oh, and thanks for the gear.

To any I'm forgetting, I'm sorry. If you post something, I will try to reply when I find some time. Good luck, though I won't be seeing you in the fields. "FOR THE GLORY OF THE STONES!"

>Ilyatur; You're my humor.

You're my humor. I've never heard this particular phrase, and the normal defenitions of the word "humor" don't quite fit that grammar...what do you mean by it?

>Don't try to tell me what I am.
>I never did any of what you said.

It wasn't personal, as a player. But as a character, Il looks at it much like current US criminal code looks at say...a getaway driver for someone who shoots a convenience store clerk. The driver might not ever have even touched a gun...but...is still guilty of murder...or something like that.

>I was waiting for you to
>repeat those words while you were in my pk-range, to see if
>you were daring enough to say them to my face.

To put your curiosity to rest, I would have. And have with others. Il is definately not shy of his somewhat ...different... perceptions of the world.

>After your
>talking down on Artose, I asked two younger sylvans to kill
>you. Sorry.

Not a problem. I as a player totally understand. But, you might be surprised at how your action has had unintended consequences for the grove.

>About the fire giant with them...there's
>nothing wrong with that. Sylvan is not Maran.

I also understsand this. But, as one who has had every single evil character I have ever had attacked by sylvan for no reason (mostly in Galadon), or for very specious reasons (You killed an orphan in Balator and children are natural so you are a defiler....no...I am not kidding, I actually heard that), I was surprised to find sylvans cooperating with a fire giant.

I too was looking forward to actually facing another ranger. I was actually looking at facing you in early fourties as a chance to learn how to better fight a ranger with a ranger before I hit hero range and the hero rangers out there. Oh well.

All I meant was that you made me laugh, without effort. It was nice of you to do so.

I didn't take any of your insults personally, my point was that, as a character, you made baseless comments about my character which were wrong. I told you more than once that you were wrong, and you gaev no evidence to support your words. That's life, though.

As for my actions affecting the grove...I guarantee that all participants wanted to kill you anyhow. They would have done it in Dranety had you not quaffed that potion. They got their chance elsewhere.

And I feel you on the evil vs. Sylvan thing. In the past, the accepted policy was often kill the evil first, figure out why later. I never supported or followed that. That's life again. You're going to be pursecuted by sylvans again, for a different reason. More life.

I mean this when I say it; Good luck. Ranger vs. Ranger fights can be some of the most tedious things if you don't know what to do. If you expect to dirt;flee;camo;ambush...don't bother fighting. I've proven to too many people that it's not the way to do things. The problem with them is that rangers are too predictable, to anyone who's played a few. The fight is boring, and you control the flow. I yawned when Aquelemiyas attacked me. In real life, that is. I proceeded to handing him his ass on a platter. There was no ambush involved. Remember, Ilyat...the key is to hit them harder and more often than they hit you. You'll do fine.

How is detect_all?
