I liked Uilin. Many times you had me rolling out of my chair with your jokes, but a drow acting silly! Your characters always seem to have some sort of impact on mine and I'm sure you'll be missed. Good luck with the quitting thing...cause I just returned slappin the old CF vein. Start with BATTLE, end with BATTLE. hell yea!

Three of Three: The Final Goodbye!

I had to try a neo-thief so I tried the one path no one takes, poison. One could also name this path the, "Super annoying to everyone but not very deadly" path. I went rager because it was where I started on the mud and thought it would be a good place to end it. I think I would have stuck with this character longer (and posponed quitting) if I had gotten gernade, but I picked two in traps thinking I would be able to develop that tract as well. Guess not, so I got screwed out of gernade and that really made this character fall apart.

Analysis of the poison thief: I think once they got grenade, they would be a lot of fun, before that, they are very frustrating and you must prep a lot (with not a lot of success in the beginning). Needless to say, you failed a lot for reasons I won't go into here.

All in all, the poison thief was extremely annoying, especially after you just killed someone (or someone else did) and you just contact poisoned all their gear left at their corpse. It was delightful (although, I admit, extremely mean) to watch them take all, wear all, and suddenly be poisoned for 105 hours. Those who did survive it had a very annoying wait, those who didn't, well, there goes another 1/3 of a con. Ultimately, that is how my character killed people, by poisoning them when they were very weak. I picked plant late in my life to be even more annoying. I am guessing a lot of lowbie mages took drinks of poisoned canteens in their inventory and almost died. At last count, that I know of, I killed 4 people below level 10 from poison. All HAIL KILLING PEOPLE OUT OF PK! woho!

Goodbyes:
Battle:
Ahh my home away from home. I do love that place. As I said in the Zauvoult goodbye note, a lot of the ragers I ranked up with should realize that bloodthirst is not a get out of death free card. I saw so many of you charge Amora and die, over and over again. I was quite digusted actually . Amora got so many free kills of many of you just because you were not thinking, just charging. Oh well, good luck though.

Huraz: Thanks for letting me try some things on you. I liked how you called me the village's mad chemist. I wish I could bring this character up to hero (and would have actually if I got grenade) but it was so frustrating. I had nothing to do in battle besides weaponnick, disarm, dirt, and kick (which I refused to practice .

Bryvac: Thanks for letting me test out mind control poison on you. The poison itself actually does not seem very rager like, but it was fun. Forcing people to cabal channel was great. I pity the people who I mind controlled in Scion and forced them to cabal channel insults and hate comments about mages and Scion. I hope none of you got kicked (okay I'm lying here).

Valarath: Good character but take a moment to evaluate situations a little and not be so charge in and kill kill kill. Good luck.

Others: Thanks for ranking me, or should I say, thanks to double block for ranking me. I am POSITIVE that without double block and only second attack I would have been pretty much useless in groups. All hail the double block loop action on my tintin account.

Scions:
Had fun poisoning you and annoying you when I could. I was not a toe to toe fighter at all so I had to change my tactics from previous characters. It was interesting experimenting bu also completely frustrating. I did have some good laughs when I would poison people or pulled the "steal spare weapons, contact poison them, plant them back" and go fight you and disarm you. That was my most ingenious plan. I was glowing behind the keyboard when i worked.

Nexus:
Same goes for you as I said to the Scions above.

Warlocks:
Never really fought any of you, just took your item a lot.

Fortress:
Didn't really interact with a lot of you. Though, I did, unfortunately bring my hatred of paladins to this character and a lot of you found poisoned water containers and food and contact poisoned weapons in your inventory. Oh well.

Well that is about everyone.

Thanks all for a good time. This most recent mass quitting is because of school coming up and I cannot have this "hobby" as some people call it (addiction more like it) hanging over my head as I try to study and do well. I will have enough distractions besides the mud. It has been a good run. Thanks all.

I really dug Uilins roleplay. I have/had no idea what new theives can do but all the poisoning things you did when I recommended you were so cool. Was I surprised you played Goapa? Not really, while I didnt know it was you specifically (I had only ever really known you on the forums) you could tell you were quite a veteran.

I about crapped myself when I saw what is likely one of the memorial list of cf chars ive ever seen. Especially Mavail, you and Abernyte larging it against the DIKU empire crew, you were the kind of warrior I aspired to be in the dark days of my CF newbiehood. And Hvitlok, third in the list of barons I wanted to be (behind Ygnacio and Guiseppe of course; who wants to be a lich when you can toss salads?). Some of the others leap out at me as top characters, such as Genofen and Hifflio, though I never intereacted with them much, and some were before my time (Icenyhn, Mav) but I still know the names from somewhere, probubly cf lore passed down.

What can I say.....you kicked ass in almost every char Ive ever known you as, well done, and come back soon!

Now I see why you are so 'good' with all the skills...you have passed like 5 years or more on cf..you ahve been in every cabal possible...played all classes and races....I have been playing for like 5 or so years and am still a newbie..finding new things every day.....what I want to know is...are there other Old players playing this game?..it seems that these days...more and more newbies log on..and make this 'game' realy a game...this mud isnt the same as it was before..the role-play is GONE! It was way better in the old days..
but I guess that everything must change...

The goodbye to me in your post was most probably made because you witnessed the single worst day in Valaraths life to that date. 3 deaths that day, argh. I really do Not suck, but damn... that is terrible. Thanks for trying to save my arse that time on Eastern by the way...

I am going to miss you, damn. I was looking foreward to how deadly I knew you were going to end up being when we were Hero's. You did some good damage, nice work. Good luck with your ne... oh. Damn.

I thought it was cruel how you pulled me out of the way and slept me whilst being 15 ranks older than me, then in my sleep I had a spasm (due to your poison) and droped my weapon, which you then poisoned. You then planted a poisoned canteen on me.

So I drank from the canteen, was poisoned, then later I remembered my sword, wore that, poisoned again. I thought 'That can't be right, a sword can't poison you!', so I removed it and wore it again, poisoned again! I then dropped in the middle of the inn where several lowbies snatched it and hence were poisoned.

Poison thieves could be a lot of fun, but being in a Cabal like Rager you couldn't enjoy it so much, since Village relies heavily on fighting, which your thief can't do. After your little encounter though, I'm up for trying a poison thief myself.

But my favourite incarnation of yours will always be Mavail, I still get a big grin on my face when I think back to our big fight against Iomahk and the other arbites in the village. Mavail the brawler of battle, by far your best imho. Then you went all magey with Hvitlok genofen and Hifflio but I liked them all except the Hifflio for a nasty piece of get all corpse;drop all;sac all when Challens conjurer with shawtabies etc did most of the mashing of Iolanthe then you got the last hit as I went to retreat. I hated him for that and rage deleted promptly afterwards. I understood it was his RP, follower of Zulgh etc but when you mopped up and then did it I was Gauled knowing it was you.

anyway, good luck with your studies, see you here again soon.
