I have to admit I wasn't enamored with this character for the exact
reason you stated, "just sorta continued where Lohik left off". I liked
Lohik a lot, and seeing you come back with this near-clone was a
little off-putting and disappointing to me.

Either way, I hope you come back with something that's fun for you
to play.

I never intended to make a Lohik clone, just sort of happened I should never have made another battle bard, sorry I dissapointed.

I really hope I wasn't what made you rage delete. It kind of had a feel like you were planning it already, but when you didn't come back for your stuff a couple minutes after I killed you I was like Oh, no, please, come, back. I think I got the best of you, but you really embarassed me that time in Oryx.. you totally beat my ass haha, that was good stuff.

Huge huge huge blow to the village though, when there's a bard around, it seems like every raid and defense is totally different in such a monstrous way. I'll miss you as an enemy.

This was really tough. I had a very, very strong suspicion this was Lohik just based on the role and some of the comments you made that were based off of one of Lohik's last discussions with Thror.

The problem with this was, I had to remember that you were a completely different person - not Lohik. It almost felt like an extension of Lohik's life.

You have great charisma and make enjoyable characters. I would have cautioned you against making another Battle bard so quickly. You didn't really give yourself a chance to absorb what you had learned with Lohik. You also ranked really, really fast.

I wouldn't call this an epic failure. I would call it a second try with an epic rage delete! Mwahha.

The Rites were enjoyable. I think you could have used a bit more strategy and bided your time while the others ran out of steam.

Don't go another four years. Go for another combo that works with your personality. I hear Herald has some OP powers!

You were right - I should have given it some time - allowed myself to absorb what I experienced. I love RP as much, if not more, than the next guy - but Herald isn't my thing

Every interaction with you was quality - I'll give it another shot soon - non-bard, but maybe Battle!

I mean that. You were one of the few that is actually around. I thought we had a couple of really good knock down drag outs. Anyway, I hope you find something you like and isn't such a "big failure" in your own eyes.

The only time I really got to observe this char was during the Rites..like Lohik this char had the same good sense of humour and charisma, though I thought you were new to bards :p Was fun fwiw. Glwyn.

I felt new to bards

I don't know what it was - maybe my play style doesn't compliment a human/epic build - but I just felt like I failed a great deal more at some really key times than I did with the wood-elf/romantic build.

I purposely perfected sleep/symphonic echoes - I almost always failed at symphonic echoes and missed sleep a lot!


As for the rites - it's a tough fight going against an arial and dwarf who can both cranial and a giant that can bash - missing symphonic echoes made things even tougher. It was still fun!

Oh well, it is what it is.

Otherwise. I guess I didn't see your failures that much because from my POV it seemed like you knew what you were doing and turned the tides several times. For example, with regard to Nexus, at some point it seemed a matter of "he who hath the logged-in bard shall win."

I've talked people out from rage deleting before - thought I was able to do that with you.

For the life of me, I couldn't figure out why you kept dying so much. I mean, I knew you weren't a noobie bard, and you had the swagger of an experienced player. Yet, sometimes it was kinda frustrating, so I gave you directions, until I thought to myself 'Why am I doing this? He knows what he's doing.'

Yet, you died alot. I don't know why. Maybe there's something to bard's I don't know.

In any case, I really liked your rp. Fun times. I thought you complemented my 'issues' with Iunna/Thror very well.
