Before I rolled Zethyr, I had a village app named Ilphukiir (arial thief). I got pretty pissed of because Thralkoz would never interview me, so i deleted and rolled a nexan. Some general comments to start with: I was a bit dissapointed with my tanking ability at hero. I could not tank archers/horseman in aridhol with perfected defences, while a shifter could do the whole town without resting *shrug* Perfected all my kicks and what not...axe was nice, liked it..crescent was alright vs mobs, but it was undependable as hell in pks. Also, my first hero after 2 years of playing. I explored a heap and learned a lot of things. Really badly wanted to con die Zethyr, had 9 con when I deleted, since I have exams soon and cannot play for 2 months. Zethyr was meant to be a somewhat secret member of Nexus, but that all changed once Cerc posted a raid log *shrug* Gota roll with the punches and all..Now, onto the more important stuff..
Farewells:
Battle: A general rave first, specifics to follow below. *tips his hat* You frustrated me, pissed me off, but hell, i respected most of you. You full looted me, when the most I ever took was 3 items max. You ganged me, on eastern, in galadon, on the erinin and wherever. I offered to fight you solo instead of bringing a group, and got picked clean for my effort. But I understand the looting for counter raids and such, but damn, just taking all my ##### and sacccing it/putting it in the pit for your lowbies?! After a few full loots, I started raiding your pit and damn! Scion are you loosing your grip? The battle pit is about 10x bigger than yours! I used stoneskin, shield haste and I still couldnt parry deathblows even with a shield, and still took ==ANNIHILIATES== from them. That is frustrating #####.
Rhuean: All respects man, you did a hell of a job, and you were the only rager who did not full loot.
Karkanen: Said all I needed in your farewells.
Huraz: God damn you were frustrating. Whenever I would gain the upper hand in our fights, you would call blood and it would turn the fight. I knew I should flee, but I always did something stupid and ended up dead.
Reznouk: You had some sort of 6th sense or something, but damn you knew when I was stalking and did some smart ##### to catch me out. I thought you might try what you did, but decided to risk it anyway. Lucky for me you never sealed the deal
Hirilim: Solid from what I saw near the end, keep trucking.
Probably forgot some names..
Nexus: From what I saw, morale is pretty damn low right now. I like the cabal concept, and was going to write a book about zethy's personal philosphois, cept I forgot to practice pen *mutter*
Cercanopuno: Good job from what I saw, some of those fights and raids where we got a new one torn through all your preps were really fucking depressing.
Arathian: Well this is quite ironical, since 2 hours before my deletion I talked you out of deleting. Not much to say, you were a solid guy, some good times indeed.
Octavin: Well done from what I saw.
Thally: Congratulations on imming, that time where we got torn apart by Koogar in Tar Valon truly sucked.
Sphinf: Bad misunderstanding or whatever, glad we put that aside.
Divox: Must have looked like I played once in a blue moon. Actually, I played about 4 hours a night, but thats australian night times so it didn't mix to well with the imm staff.
Kahosarin: You seem to be a bit more behind the scenes *shrug* If thats the way you want to go thats fine. Did you ever take a peek at Zeth? I dont know how good your memory is...but about a year and a half ago I played a half-drow assassin named Zath who tried to get into nexus. You told me to summon you somewhere, so I thought "What a better place than the altar at the temple of neutrality" heh, I always laugh when I think about what ensued. If you saw a bit of Zeth, mind telling me how I did?
Arcleea: You were a godsend for my ranking. Pity about what happened.
Scion: Didn't really interact with too many of you..
Amora: Real solid from what I saw, damn well done.
Stargher: You used me, I used you. It got quite boring sometimes, your timing was perfect that time in elemental canyon
Others:
Raliyas: Nice work, you were always looking good just as a thief should be. Gutsy too, I still chuckle sometimes when I think about that time when Dullah asked me to hunt you and I helped you for about 10 minutes before he got you.
Shaitarak: A fellow assassin, didn't really see much of you.
Its getting late...i've probably forgotten tons..just post a reply and i'll get back to you, or aim me at Pixulescu

Well there's been a lot about how nexus sucks and how we got no powers and the cabal is rotting and all that #####.....
Thing is bond does rule if there is someone to bond with.
You did a good job, Zeth, and you should be proud you stuck it out when most would have rage deleted.
Anyways, I am really sorry for getting you killed at the spirts but then there was little I could I do.
There is so much I can and should say but I guess it will have to wait till I delete.....
As far as being too weak compared to the battleragers is concerened I think a prepped warrior (obviously bonded too) can take on a battlerager without doubt.
And hey :p don't role a villager after your exams are done.
If you really wanna enjoy nexus play a mage and see how much in demand you are and how good bond really is.
Overall, you know it, GREAT JOB !
Best of luck for your exams and then for your next charecter.
and as Ol'Maus says, if you dont feel like pkin' .... ROLEPLAY !

We had a short but interesting talk at the Inn. I would have loved to get to hero just because of the small chat. Its not that many times you get to talk in such manner with a hero while your char is just a lowbie.
I didn't know your char in any manner though, I just thought this was a fun side note to your graveyard post.

Well, you were a spunky assassin not afraid to fight. From what I saw you did your best and perhaps your best. That's all I can ask for. Good luck on your exams and see ya in the future with whatever character you decide to play.

Its always good to have an eye in the shadows, well played Zethyr, I hope you were just bad at assassins, looked like they just didnt sit with you as a player. WEll as everyone else has said, good luck on your exams and good luck in the future.
In response to 'Gaths' post, bond is really something that is hard to use, because we know little about it. Where as other cabals tell you what your power does, IE chameleon blends you with the surrounding, or double block, is like feinting twice, ect ect.
And for the new powers, if some of the ideas that I hear will be implemented, then perhaps the honor bound part of the rift can stop gang banging.
Anyhow, Good job on your char. -Cerc-

That is quite ironic actually. I was sooo pissed off when I found out what Bryvac's tatoo did. Bryvac is just like a superior Arathian (Cloud mace/sword + deathblows bloodthirst and a tat). After he killed me last night I got pissed and was about ten seconds from rolling up a rager because Nexuns have nothing, the bond is rare and the players are slim. I decided I would kick myself in the ass in the morning if I ended up deleting, I actually like the challange of killing villagers them knowing they should wipe the floor with me. Thats why I'm sticking around till the bitter end. Remeber that time we took the head just you and me, now thats nexus at its best! Luck to you and maybe we'll see eachother in the fields again.
Arathian the Nexun who hasn't lost hope.
