From what I saw you were doing a good job. It sucks for you ragers at times with everything stacked agaisnt you. Scion death squads are becoming a nuisance but you always seemed to fight on despite all the obstacles. I never actively hunted any of you villagers of the dark, unless you started preying on the weak magi in my presence....since you always seem to be in a underdog position, never got to happen much. The playerbase could learn alot from watching how good villagers play the game. You are skilled and I wish you good luck with your next.

Take care.

A very annoying opponent to fight, even when I "won" I still lost all my weapons etc. You would flee and disappear FAST, which really irked me, i mean i'd have you on where, the next moment you were GONE and I was like damn! Well, i'd say good luck with the next one, but you don't really need it

Had never fought you before and the whole murdering to avoid the blackjack meant I had to improvise somewhat and made me wish I had spent a little more time working dirt kick, not that it mattered when you were suped up for the last fight. It was fairly even with us both getting our fair share of making the other flee but neither of us being able to press the advantage to get the kill. When you have only two attacks and your fighting a good tank its awfully slow. Yeah I was annoyed at that lowbie taking your scimitar and then me getting blamed for it. I hate lowbies looting period, maybe the village should be moved so all the lowbie stop hanging about the large crossroads and eastern just waiting for some poor sod to bite the dust. I am sure I will be fighting you again soon but just not quite the same.

Man. Every time I find out that you delete like this, I want to throttle you. I liked Karkanen, not so much as Grubbin but he had his strong points.

...btw - I'm not the only easy one to spot.

I would say 'good job' but that would only encourage future actions like this.

Bah!

I dont mean to do it, guess I should not log in on a day off as all my Euro chums seems to magic loving pussies that like to gangbang the UK rager. I did not delete the first gangbang, I resisted, tried to equip a little and foolishly went off half-equipped at two folk that got the better of me, damn I hate sunray blindness. Kark was a bit of an experiment to try out the neo-thieves, I learned much and may even do another in the future with a few changes here and there. It was partly because I think some people rumbled me as being Kark that I did not persue him with his role etc or even try to be a battle Imm. The getting stuck at rank 43 for ages then at 45 and then again at 47 was just getting to me too. Everytime I logged on and eventually had suitable groupmates someone raided or a raid was called for or a PK squad came after us. All these little reasons added up and he was fun but not as much fun as previous ragers. The only having 2nd attack thing and backstab being so very unreliable made him die less but also kill less than previous ragers. Rest assured I will be back in some for or another and I will try to quit out next time some lame ass bashtardhs decide to get up and gang me with the help of a so-called chivalrous paladin who follows a code bvut sees no problem in Fascilitating the gangbanging of a thief. Anyway, I am digressing and my GF is calling me through to the lounge to watch Big Brother, oh excitment beyond all known excitements, its the final weak *roll*.

Thanks, I think, for the good cop bad cop style induction interview with you and Thror. It was highly amusing and I really enjoyed it, much more fun than spouting a life story and then answering easy questions.

Good bye from me who never met you. Nice of you to not name the paladin, but at the same time, as some old paladin said, it tars us all with the same brush every time one gets this kind of bad press.

Goodbye from my last character who did know you. I won't post the name here, but you may remember him from this:

You left our group to join another, but claimed you had to "leave the realms". So I went and got a paladin and came back after your group as you killed Darsylon elves. I didn't tell the paladin that the real reason I wanted to give you a shock was for abandoning my group which had been killing the same elves about 20 minutes earlier. Anyway, you were convinced I was hunting you for ages afterwards, but I had only wanted to make you think twice about crossing me again and I had no interest in fighting you. We eventually patched things up and got on ok. Remember who?

Since it is clear to any casual observer that the paladin you're referring to is me, since you posted your log on dioxides, and then refer to a paladin here, I suppose I'll respond.

On the subject of a paladin code. As far as Rocheval was concerned, you suddenly pop up in the middle of a group campaign and decide to backstab one of his companions without so much as a warning or an issuing of a challenge. The paladin's code says nothing about 'ganging' or respecting brigands or thieves (wait, isn't a thief who waylays you suddenly a sort of brigand?), and certainly in circumstances where the attack is initiated, do you really expect not to be pursued with the greatest force they can muster? What has Karkanen, a backstabbing thief, done to warrant any of the courtesies of duelling, especially since the entire conflict arose from you attacking from the shadows? What would the chivalrous thing to do be? Word away with a 'He's all yours.'?

In addition, I quote to you here rule 4 of the paladin's code.

4. Never abandon your friends, allies or your beliefs. Fight with courage, and if you must you will die. Never betray your comrades or cower in fear.

Finally, your success as a thief together with another unnamed assassin attacking all over Galadon, peeking in and out, holding a criminal flag for days at a time, doesn't make you particularly favored. I have been hoping for you to reach your final title so we might scuffle proper, but it appears I won't have that pleasure.

Whilst our past characters have fought alongside within Battle and without for many years, and I have known you since the hanging outs at IRC in ages past, this final potshot at me at your own reckless action (attacking TWO groups in the PAST, where you can't escape easily and have to run through an area that you can't hide, and then whining, complaining and saying everyone leaves the realms because of YOU) and predictably dying, has made me reconsider whatever impressions I've had of you.

I agree with Rocheval. Would a chivalrous knightly type person (as Rocheval appears to be in game) allow some brigand leap out of the shadows and stab the person in the back that is walking next to him?

No way, since he can't incapacitate you and drag you to the authorities (which happens to be him), he's going to kill you. (since death isn't permanent usually in CF, that's a good lesson)

There are times when too much is too much, but from what I hear it seems like Rocheval was within his rights to reasonably take you down with force.

(Rocheval probably doesn't like thieves to begin with, they operate usually outside of the law and are completely unchivalrous with all of their tactics.)

Just my opinion as the local Paladin watcher...
Nicolette

The end of my post was not a whinge as I genuinely figured, (admittedly with a very limited knowledge of paladins) that he would see it as overkill to lead the group so the others could spam and give them sanc when there were 4 of them anyway. You were not in the group you were assisting it. I do not warn when fighting a group of potentially three. The thing that annoyed me was the enlistment of the 'fire giant' and the 'cloud giant' but thats by the by. The death was not the be all and end off of the deletion. Thanks for clearing up the code thing though.

Hoss, you weren't even close to 200 hours, and you were 47. That means, by my defenition anyway, that what you call "Stuck" and what I call "Stuck" are two different things.

Just like how a 300 lb man could call not eating steak for 3 hours "Hunger" but a starving ethiopian can only shake his head in disgusted disbelief at the fat man thinking that was real hunger.

Try being stuck in your 30's for a total of 700 hours with 3 different chars..because you can't get a group and you can't rank solo.

Try never heroing a non-shifter in less than 320 hours.

THEN talk to me about "Getting stuck" at a rank.

"Death awaits ya all, wit nasteh big pointeh teeth!"

"Death awaits ya all, wit nasteh big pointeh teeth!"

but I am not listening, nah jokes aside. As I said to minyar further down, I am lucky if I can play 15 hours max in a week. So getting stuck for me is sitting at a poor rank fighting mostly people of a higher level for weeks on end. The stuck thing is relative to my RL time not the hours accrued by the character when he/she/it is logged on. What is amusing is that other than kark, my attempts at messing with shifters have all taken the longest to hero.

I'm really sorry to see you go, especially like that. I would have LOVED for you to have gotten to know my character better as many have already. You'd find that I can be very peaceful, and you'd know why working with ______ (fill in blank with your enemy) is not against my belief's. So far the only battles I have truly been in are because someone catagorizes me cause of whom I'm with.

So be it...just wish we could have encountered each other on different terms. Well done on Karkanen, I thought you played him well.

really its cool. The only things that annpyed me was the big 4-1 gangbang and the orc that was with you who murder/woke you. If he left you sleeping I could have happily gangked the fire giant and then moved off, as I said without looting as I seldom do the whole loot thing. The 2nd time round I was too paranoid of you guys hitting me knowing the assassin was a scion, when I fought Vimir to recloth. I knew te orc would wake you so jacking was out the window so I backstabbed the assassin the slowed up and could not follow it up, oh well. See you again.
