Well, this time I'm calling it quits for real. I've deleted my 400 plus logs I have of the game and all my little notes I've made over the past 2 or so years. Wintin and Zmud aren't on my computer anymore either. SO hopefully that will keep me away. Its not so much we died to the lich, its that we could have gotten him if we didn't all act like morons. I know I was guilty of being an idiot at the end, but crap we could have gotten him if we didn't do one thing. And guess what, we did the one thing that would have prevented us from getting him, and that would be walking into his trap. Which we all knew was there and all knew what not to do, yet we did it. So I just gave up, since I know I could never take the lich on one on one, and it seems a lost cause to get a group together to do it. This is the one major reason I made Selreka, was to try to take him down. But oh well, I am just going to quit now.

I agree we all knew what not to do (because of our piss-poor knowledge of that area) and that we did it anyway. Funny how sometimes it is the most basic places you don't know properly.

It seemed to me that once the assassin got caught and slept a paladin couldn't stand by and hope that they escaped on their own. Vanish isn't much good if you are neuro-disrupted, and since he was slept he could have been too maladicted to defend himself for long. So even though I knew it was a bad idea, I did it anyway. Yeah, ooc it annoys me that the lich gets a phylactery out of it and thus is more of a threat later, but ic, I'm not sure a paladin can put that above someone being in danger right in front of him.

Having reviewed my log I think I ultimately died as a result of a bug with neuro-disruption, so I'm waiting to see what the imms have to say about it. The neuro-disruption was actually dispelled before I tried to flee, but I was still paralysed for some reason and it wasn't the ghoul from what I can tell.

Oh man, you don't know how guilty I'm feeling right now. Of course I f****ng knew that we would all be dead if we left that place. And as soon I was leaving that bar, I knew I would screw it all up, that we would all die, and so on and so on ... but dude, I didn't know you 'solely' made this character to bring him down .. although I don't think that would have changed anything ... Gorach just hates all that is 'evil' and will attack it even if it costs her own dead .. and yes, sometimes that even involves acting 'stupid' (as a player you sometimes know the odds are against you, like me against Dwoggurd and Krivohan in Arial city, although I scared them off there .. with some help of Persumal in the end)
Anyway, was fun to travel around with you ... and to try and find you instead of that bloody angel ... By the way, i've known Disola with another character of mine starting with an 'L' .. Sorry to see you go .. good luck with all the rest you're planning on doing.

Normally I avoid posting anything after a characters death, even one I’ve tatted or had a lot of interaction with, due to the fact that it makes some people feel left out if I post to one character and not another one. It’s easier to just avoid it altogether by not posting to anyone unless I’m forced into saying something. But I have to say I was a little surprised and disappointed by your deletion. You seemed to have some potential. That and the fact that there seems to be some sort of curse on Adepts lately.

You know, rather surprised at the quitting attitude. Remember me and Lokiloth going after you when you were Disola, trying to get Scarabaeus' favor or what not. You may have ran alot, but you still had some balls (figuratively speaking). That a death to a lich makes you quit...eh. Remember, when fighting a lich, be fully prepared to die...and never go after them when they are obviously ready for it.

What the hell? You were awesome. Fun to travel with, knowledable, brave....sheesh. Please dont say its because you died to the lich.
