While not a very well known character, I am in a Cabal, so I wanted to let those who are used to seeing me around know that I will be having to evacuate tonight due to Hurricane Gustav. I'll be out of pocket for a few days (possibly a couple of weeks) and will have somewhat limited access and ability to play.
I will be back as soon as I can, but just wanted to give a heads up and let you guys know I haven't thrown in the towel.
Have fun and if you see me it's likely via telnet for the next week or so.

I am not evacuating even though there is mandatory evacuation in my parish (WBR Parish, LA). I will be out of commission for few days, hopefully only a week.

Gustav strikes again. I'll hopefully be back in a couple weeks or so. Maybe sooner if I get a little lucky.
But don't expect to see me around from tomorrow til.. 10-20 days from now.

oh are you one of the storm chasers? i know we have the c-130 moded hurricane chasers at keesler which is in mississippi... those are beastly looking

Going to be trapped in a hotel in Tally for the next 3-4 days (maybe more?) depending on how things turn out for the end of the panhandle. Argh.

Sorry to hear that, hope the storm just passes through quickly for you and nothing is damaged.
As for me, I got kotegaeshi'd in real life. Damaged my ulnar nerve somehow and the doctor said I have to wear this wrist brace for a week and take some steroids to help it heal quicker. If you all don't see me as much, that is likely why.
