I wanted to play a healer to do some exploration and see how healers are in general, since i got to go to a bunch of cool places and test out the healer class I'd call this character a success. From an RP perspective i played a very standard run of the mill McHealer that likes to explore a lot. Since my real goal was just to play a healer, I chose to follow Arvam because he is the easiest Imm to get empowered by, If anyone is looking for someone to follow for easy empowerement I would highly reccomend Arvam. (not becaues his RP requirements are greater or less than anyone else, but because he is around and visible a LOT which is the number one trial to overcome in empowerment, and because both IC and OCC he seems to be very player friendly, read: forgives a lot of mistakes. I have just a few goodbyes, and a few special notes on areas I explored that I really liked.
Arvam : Thanks for empowering me, I know i did a pretty bad job following your religion, I think it's cool but I just never got into it, maybe I'll try again someday. Thanks for the conversations and for not unempowering me (though I bet I was well on my way *chuckle*)
Kenosh : My number one exploring bud! We had lots of great times together and I always thought your rp was great. Sorry we never got to finish the pyramid. Good luck.
Lintronea & Verienel : We had a bunch of great adventures, especially through that swamp which is miserable to walk around in, but kind of cool anyway. Good luck to you guys as well.
A few thoughts on some of the areas I explored:
Pyramid of Azhan : This was one of my favorite areas, because it had cool descriptions, plenty to look at. But was easy enough that it could be done by a good group of three in a couple hours. Exploring with larger groups is pretty tiresome, and areas that require a ton of time to get through are hard because it's tough to get people together.
Nizzarsh Datul : Another one that I think is fantastic, I didn't finish it but I hope to someday go back, another one that is just about the right size and shape, and with good descriptions.
Whistlewood Swamp : Ugh! well written, great descriptions, but not fun at all, people almost never go here unless they want the stoneform amulet and there's a reason. Area writers, if your area isn't fun, then noone will visit it and all your work will basically go unseen. There are a few others like this - wastes of nonviel and sands of sorrow, though they may be sort of mazes guarding entrance to somewhere else.
Silent Tower : This area is great, but I did have one issue with it. It's too hard! Not in terms of the puzzles, but in terms of fighting. There is enough that is aggressive, that it looks to me like very few characters could solo it. This wouldn't be so bad, except that it is specifically asked that people not share what they know about it with others.... the dilemma this presents is annoying, because I didn't want to spoil anything for anyone else (I didn't get very far mind you) but I also got a bit stuck in terms of not being able to get past certain mobs. Oh well, it was still a lot of fun.
