Hey, thanks for that. I think that was the other highlight of the character - writing the poetry. I had a lot of passion for the character at first, and that gave me inspiration for those poems, but it kind of fell apart. You'll definitely see me again, and maybe even in the guise of another poet.
By the way, I lost most of them (didn't save the text file after I was done and my comp crashed... bad habit, I know). Since you saved some, would it be possible for you to post them here for me?
Thanks again...

Here you go. The first one was my favourite masterpiece.
< 54> Sun Sep 23 18:51:24 2007 From : Bazarov To : all Subject: Sketches from the Reports of a Seantryn Modan Magistrate
Magistrates, such as myself, often must study that which common cityfolk have the luxury of ignoring. The following is the first volume that contains the fruits of my labors.
***
Her eyes examine cold cobblestones, drinking dust until they wither like grapes in the sun, and cry their last, putrid tear drops into the gutter.
His jaw juts to the side like a broken nutcracker, and his tongue hangs out, too long. To find the co-star of this decrepit comedy, look down, and carefully follow the syrupy trail.
Her little body huddles against the bricks, warmer than she, and the rain kisses her good night. Torch flames light the wall above her and showcase her final fingerpainting.
A whore's hands clutch the golden fruit of the earth, and it gleams brightly against her flat skin, torn, dry parchment over her damp muscle and cold bone. He did pay to enter her.

Bazarov Romatelli, Magistrate of Seantryn Modan
< 55> Sun Sep 23 18:56:56 2007 From : Bazarov To : all Subject: Nightmares of a Lawman
Cold droplets form on my forehead as I woke.
The stars are dead, my darkest dread. It howls. They prowl.
Wailing phantoms hate me justly. I hear them. I fear them.
They push their bony fingers through my chest. They name me. They blame me.
The rule of law proved too much to bear. I swear.
Invisible faces weep inside my head, they said my soul is dead.
< 37> Wed Oct 10 17:50:50 2007 From : Bazarov To : all Subject: One Last Time
A thousand tears shine in the sky. No, they are just stars.
A pale face weeps in despair. No, it's only the moon.
A banshee wails for beauty lost. No, it's but the wind.
A fellow mourner kneels in the dark. No, it is merely a tombstone.
A caring world pauses to soften my grief. No, it eats me alive.
Her pink lips close over mine, her heart beats against my chest, her sweet arms fold around my back one last time ... No, it was only a dream.
- Bazarov

Thanks. The two days or so where we fought and talked frequently was the highlight of this character. You were a class act. Thanks.
