#58389, "Rhadek (minotaur) is dead"
Edited on Mon 21-May-07 09:47 AM

I'm sad to have wasted my chance at a minotaur, but it just wasn't working out, for a number of reasons. It was too soon after my last real character, I didn't have a ready-made minotaur role so I sort of hurriedly cobbled together a kind of generic one of middling quality. Basically I went from expecting to roll a laid-back, somewhat goofy character to Mr. Serious minotau and it was difficult to really get into it right. Though it was difficult getting into the proper mindset for this character, I will probably be pining for the chance to play a minotaur shaman at some point in the future. It really seems like a very neat combo.

Also, I bit off a bit more than I can probably chew right now. I had a "I'm the best" Daevryn role, but honestly as a player I'm far enough from the best that I was really going to be in for a rocky time. Any other religion would've been fine, but I had to pick the god that has no love for good tries. Nothing had really gone wrong so far, but I did have a sense of looming disaster, which just made it that much harder to really stick with it.

Ultimately I got distracted and mob-died for no reason and realized I just didn't want to continue. So I quit for a few days to see if I'd miss it, then came back and deleted.

Thanks for empowering me, Nep. Half the reason I went with your religion was so you might give some constructive criticism PK-wise, but sadly I did too little of that. Maybe someday.
