Well, lately I've been more busy with two other CF projects, but I did observe Jhamas enough to say he would have been the next Chancellor. Our play times haven't overlapped so well, but I did observe you both fighting in a range of situations, and talking politics/war with Nexus/Entropy/others in the Inn.

You had a knack for only overlapping with me at a time when an interview for leader wasn't going to happen. If I'm on from work, watching is easy, but interviewing (since I may only be on briefly) is a big pain. In addition to that, I'm generally hedgy about picking leaders until I've seen them several times, and can only get it done when a more senior immortal is around to help with the technical end of leader-ifying. Still, Shokai's my witness that I rounded him up fairly recently to help me out (always good to have an active Nightwalker) with that when I was going to interview you, and then the game promptly crashed for like 4 hours, and I went to bed.

Nonetheless, it was relatively very late in Jhamas' life that I came to that decision, and, well, I tend to move slowly like that. Especially when Project (censored) and the (censored) I've been coding are eating up a lot of my online time.

Anyway, I thought you did a fine job across the board. Gutsy, and you definitely have an angle on playing evil conjurers that a lot of other players haven't been able to pull off. Best of luck on the next.

Hey, no censorship now! We want the inside info on these projects!

Some of the players have seen some of the results of one of those projects already. Hint: If you've been part of an ongoing series of quests lately, this could be you. . .

Shhh!

Bad ass character, I'd say. I must confess that you were one good pker. One moment I saw Siacla and next moment he's ghost. Another time again Arolin/Jhamas, best for your next character.

Anyway, I see a trend that you seldom play good-aligned characters.

Geez I am sick of this god damn class.

I log in, warlocks have the sceptre. I cant use a devil or demon to get
it back because the warlocks will have a ward at the shining.
So i conjure a lesser archangel. I bind it with 1100 mana 23 charisma
it starts at like 'conjure angel affect for 45 tics.'
I am straight away ready to attack, with the troll amulet and orb of twilight,
regen is not a problem. I killed the shining angel with Cyp hitting me a bit.
Then as the shining dies my angel TURNS ON ME at 'conjure angel 38 hours'.
I word, c dismis angel 1000...FAIL!
I get attacked by some other guy at my recall (udgaard) so i teleport to Tar
Valon, my angel kills me and some lowbies full loot.

Admitting crushing defeat to a lesser archangel, you end your existence.
the Archmage of Eternal Night: The shadows gather to fill the void as Jhamas leaves us.

I can no longer play this class, I've played over 40 heros, 4 conjurers, i had 2 regen items
that gave me 600mana a tic and I still cant control these god damn servitors.

FIX UP DISMISSAL ON SERVITORS ATTACKING YOU! SO IT ACTUALLY WORKS!
MAKE THE DEMON EVEN SOMEWHAT CLOSER TO THE POWER OF THE ARCHANGEL FOR KILLING MOBS
ANGELS SHOULD NOT LOSE THEIR BINDING POWER WHEN YOU ATTACK GOOD ALIGNS.

Evil conjurers need so much fixing, the only reason why i killed so many
people was because i had the best familiar, with a 150 line trigger searchin script.
from level 40 I used all rods for neally every pk and for most of the chars life
i had nice hp eq and the troll amulet. I also have alot of experience
with conjurers and how to pk with them. I cant imagine how a newbie would go,
my advice to you would not conjure opposite align servitors, and quit out if
warlock has the item and your the only scion.

Farewells

Dullameh, Good work man, I have been impressed with your performance
Zodrimauk, You needed to have play more, your a beast
Dahlisyn, Thanks for giving me a bit of space, I think you knew that
i was worthy of leader and didnt want to be treated like a regular mage.
Rhoywn, Hate to say it, but i cant see scion getting 2 liches, spectres are
atill alot of fun, make the most of it. Many people obssessed on liching
end up not seeing the pk potential of a spectre.
Arusus, You really need to get your act together dude
Krivohan, I will expect to see you as chancellor, if you dont get it
something is wrong. Thanks for helping me get the orb.

Targaryen, thanks for the fighting, not many people play during australian night-time.
I am glad i atleast got you that one time because we fought so much, you were good
at escaping.

Valguarnera, Heh, you could have given me high chancellor. I did play
all the time and was the only conjurer. Remember our long conversation
we had between you and my master conj Joeter on planar theory?
You didnt even give me a chance. Apparently your on all the time, but your never visible!

Dugruain, walking to my square in galadon while i had the demon, then my stupid
demon attacking you getting me flagged was just annoying.
Everytime i recalled was to a man-at-arms And i dont want to think about
how annoying it was that it made pking in Thar-acacia tough.
Criminal flags should just affect your char in the protected cities themselves!

Siacla, man, I stopped nightgaunting you as much out of pity, i mean how many
times can i gaunt you to vessas room before you carry the key

Warlocks, most of you guys are terrible, the only decent one is lithmowa, but
even him was not attacking me, i saw you from the air above me, but you never
would fly down.

ascallho or whatever your name is, you sure pulled some lucky escapes, i so
wished you flew down to me at the oryx steppes, i had a hidden suprise for you.

I hate losing my eq to non-pks!
at 40 I had a sweet set, i was getting shawtabs from the pyramid
and a mummy was not where it should have been, i get killed, 20 seconds later crash.

at hero I died in Thar-acacia, criminal, why did i go there!
Get looted by a ghost who was also in there, luckily dullameh popped him as
he tried to leave

Then the angel thing. The only person that deserves my eq is someone
that kills me, not some level 30 who just happens to be walking along in Tar Valon.

Arolin.

Without giving too much away, I'm not obsessed on liching at all.
I'm having plenty of fun as a level 47 mortal necromancer.

I liked Jhamas, what I saw. Good luck on the next character.

Well, that sucks. Another tough hero scion gone. In response to what you said, yeah, I wasn't going to try and make you bow and scrape for several reasons. One, it just isn't my thing to make people grovel for no reason, and you seemed pretty competent, so I was happy to let you do your own thing as long as you didn't decide one day to act like Yasraena or something (in her case I was particularly rubbed the wrong way, just because of the drow/half-drow thing). As far as Chancellor, I wouldn't have been surprised if you'd been made one. I know from my experience I had to catch Valguarnera's attention in character and ask him about it, even though everyone else in the cabal already seemed to think I was a shoo-in for it. I guess he must be busy with other stuff a lot.

As far as conjurer stuff, it's been a while since I played one, but what seemed to work better for me was just using more dismissals rather than a big pumped up one. But maybe that's just me. It was definitely nice to see a badass evil conjie though for a change.

More mana does not equal better with many aspects of conjurers, and I've found dismissals are one of these. I found that dismissing with more than about 200 extra mana achieved very little that the 200 mana didn't, and ultimately I found that usually a few dismissals spammed worked better than one big one. If you have time for more than one dismissal (which I assume you didn't) it is worth saving mana for more than one in my experience.

I only remember fighting you when you were with Zodrimauk. I can handle being deaf or not having servitors, but deaf and no servitors is not nice. Holding you off cost me 50k in copper only for Zodrimauk to reengage two hours before I could hear (and thus conjure again). I was also wondering why the sorceress wasn't casting any spells while I was lashing you, but when I could hear her shouting in CAPS it all became clear. I'd always assumed the archmage and sorceress would be immune to deafening.

During that fight I was thinking about your options though, and I think I worked out that your devil's maladictions weren't really a threat to me, even without servitors, because of all the +stat stuff I was wearing. Do you know of any that might have been a problem given that I escaped using a teleport potion anyway?

Well, previously i tested dismis at quite a depth
and it seemed like full mana burn was best.
I was pretty confident on this, and i'd be suprised if
it was changed. If your experience is just on same align and elementals then it doesnt apply that much cause ele's are pretty easy
to dismis aswell as same align, but not always
I failed 3 500ish mana's on a winged marosa.
I should have gone neutral ethos, Joeter got 90% friendly devils
and like 60% friendly demons, where as lawful i got 100% friendly devils and like 20% friendly demons.
But then again i've failed a 200,200,200,400 mana dismis on a black abashi devil in a row. Lets agree the spell sucks

Its certainly harder to dismis a servitor thats attacking you
compared to one in a circle or belongs to another.
Which seems wrong!

I had much time when i worded, i still had barrier/aura/shield/stoneskin and resist holy, the angel didnt do
much to me, except i used up all my mana and wasnt all that much
i could do. I tried conjuring a walker from the heal mana's i got from the healer so it would kill that
and give me the time to make a new circle, but it broke out of the circle pretty quick, teleported to galadon, then camelot, then eastern road, then tar valon...i couldnt believe i couldnt teleport to a remote place

When the last angel turned on me early in the warlock cabal, it was only a 'terrible angel' but i teleported and i didnt have enough mana to full mana burn dismis, so i conjured like a 400 mana devil, it attacked the devil, gave me the time to sleep 2 tics and get heaps of mana to dismis it. Knowing that the angel can turn real early in the warlock cabal i made sure this time i had heaps of mana which would be the case since i am not dismissing enemy conjurers so i figured i would be okay, but when i saw that 1000 mana fail, I tell ya, i felt like deleting right then, when i got looted, it was sealed.

The simple fact is, attacking the shining angel and cyp apparently
killed the binding of the angel.

Also the angel doesnt become angry too much later on when i use it to kill evil mobs.

I guess i should have been quicker to nofol it once the shining died, sure i couldnt bind an outer for 40 tics, but it would have been worth it

Those damn wards, i should be in your cabal with a demon or devil.
Not like I took crain into the chasm with a devil

As for my devils maledictions not affecting you, wait for the level 60 30 tic rot and see if you survive that Hardly goes off though, i got it on a pk a total of 2 or 3 times.

Hah... I did. Okay, I didn't survive too many of our encounters, but the rot you got on me when I was raiding the village I did. Cusip and I quickly gathered up about 15 con worth of gear just to last out that stupid rot.

Once I knew you liked Vessa's I definitely started carrying that key as well as a teleport staff whenever you were about. That time you got me in Arboria I had been trying to wait out a curse and also hold off on going to the bathroom. Bodily urges finally won out and I came back just in time to die.

Cool character and gear to die for.

I got plenty of practice dismissing nightwalkers post the change, and also dismissed my own servitors much of the time to work on it. I think after dismissal hit 90% I stuck to using no extra mana unless I could tell I'd die in the next round, in which case I used the lot.

If 30 tic rot is only a 30 con loss, as I think it is, that devil wouldn't have been a problem. Had fortitude rings, longevity bracelets, certain leggings, and a few other odds and ends at that point in time. Probably won't be able to survive it by the time I can log on again though (less than two weeks left now, and counting), as I think my gear will be gone.

That would be almost nearly impossible....as the key to vessa's room crumbles after only a very few hours.

Hehe, I have always been a master of escape! But running out of Thar-Acacia, and then again after being nightgaunted may have been the best one ever. I have to ask, what was the surprise you had waiting? I presume it was beyond the earthbind wand i located on you, and beyond dullameh waiting nearby. I used to fly over your head waiting for your nightgaunts, because I could see them when you conjured, and then know right when they were coming, So i never had any intention of flying down to the steppes. What was the plan?

I found out you lived in Udgaard, and went out the west gate to get back to the chasm.

I'd sit around for upwards of an hour trying to snare you without an elemental.

Everytime I saw you, it seems like you'd kill me or try to. Alot of times I'd just stay in camo and spam where elemental, trying to catch you in a moment where it's gone.

Wish you stuck around. You were one of the few Scions who doesen't full loot and who can be fun to fight (even though I had little chance of winning). Most of the time you fought alone.

Knew you were someone badass. Conjies are sick, sick, sick.

I never put extra mana into dismiss, and if I did, it wasn't much. I was successful much of the time, even against other peoples archons with nothing extra. Honestly, that approach, also gives you time to try again, not be destroyed because yo just spent yourself.

Minyar

PS I agree that Evil Conjurers get the shaft though, and I don't think Valg ever wants to have a Conjurer Chancellor. For all I could see, I was given a huge quest, where as others just stayed around and got it, and I was the only conjurer as well.
