Man, you owned my ass that one time with Gistle! APs have a hard time going toe to toe with a hasted warrior - I think the neuros were overkill, but hey, I'd have done the same thing. Returning my weak-ass Unholy weapon? Classy! Great RP the whole time, man, glad you got some sort of reward for sticking with the anathema thing and your role the way you did. I was truly surprised at the number of people skiltore made anathema, but you were the first I had ever seen with this char growing up. and all this time I have had with my char you were still going at it. I had alot of respect for you.
My char had no personal hatred to you, no real disliking other than you walked with gistle sometimes.
That is also why I spoke to you, you never did attack me so I had no reason to attack you.
Rest assured though I got you into the trance every time I did spot you every time I could.

I enjoyed our early battles, you may have seen them on dio's forum, one versus one warrior on warrior....cant beat that. Later battles involved groups versus groups which consisted of you entwining and raping me!

Anyway, I called you a bastard cause of that 'duel' between me and you where Gistle 'intervened'. At the time I was pissed, but in hindsight I had rager powers, you just had haste, its a learning experience.

I was very pissed from that at the time, hence the old me 'warring against you aslong as it didn't interfere with the war against magic' thing. It didn't help that everytime I fought you in higher ranks I hadn't had the ol' realiable no-remove pickaxe, and even when I did you had two no disarm unbreakable swords ;P

Anyway, I'm not excusing myself, I am complementing you, by far the toughest warrior I ever fought; I'm glad your gone because I want to fight you again, even if unknowing it's you, because your damn worthy to fight.

Just hope you dont roll someone I cant attack because of roleplay!

You usually caught me when I wasn't ready to fight, but I have this suicidal need to stay and finish things (unless it's totally stupid to do so). I could always depend on you being competant and ready when we fought, and that one time in Hamsah I had no idea how much damage you were doing to me, though after looking at the log you posted I'm quite suprised.

Anyhow, well done on staying strong, you were a fun fight who I knew wouldn't run right away and not even bother with combat (as most do from bards).

I enjoyed having you around as an enemy. The number of times you'd catch me with my pants down at my recall is embarassing (I refuse to stand in that room now if at all possible). While I didn't have much insight into your role, I did appreciate your flair before/during/and after combat. I say well done.

I was looking forward to fighting you honestly. I wanted my shot at it, but I definately wish I was at hero. I think the level difference definately makes a difference when it comes to saves and what not versus my supplications. THough, I did give a certain other Anathema a good run the last time we fought. Anyway, I watched you when I was younger and watched you tear up Morior. You were strong, and did the best of any Anathema I've seen (limited view).

What can I say? Everything you said here is reciprocal. You really made logging in a blast whenever you were around. If I did my customary "whois bru" within seconds of logging in and saw you, I knew I was in for a good night. I can't emphasize enough how much fun it was to run with a proper villain, one who instinctively knew what to do, and who showed respect to his enemies that generally wasn't returned. I'll miss having a homicidal, ill-tempered duergar grumbling about how damned old he is while making everyone else's lives a helluva lot shorter.

In any case, I'm glad Lyristeon gave you the credit you deserved so much. To me, you had the hardest role in the game and pulled it off so well it seemed effortless, which is why I enjoyed playing on team underdog so much (and we managed to pull off some crazy #### along the way). You waded into crazy odds, dealt death like a Vegas dealer, took your licks and bounced back faster than I could believe. However, my favorite aspect of Brulgor was how you clung to your orderly ways even though you were anathema. Brulgor was a great foil for Gistle in that I got to play the devil on your other shoulder, egging on your murderous, chaotic side.

That Damned Two Dimensional Mage

PS, I assume this same thing happened to you progressively throughout the life of Brulgor:

X tells you '*spits* You're nothing without Brulgor at your side, mage.'

X tells you 'Where's Brulgor? Not attached to your hip anymore?'

X tells you 'Well fought. Shall I return for my things?

I think people eventually figured out neither one of us were "attached at the hip," but when we were together, folks had better watch out.

a level 51 entwining a level 43 sucks, especially when I'm a spear spec and fairly easy meat, there was no way I could whittle you down to the point where you would have to flee before the dirt wears off. I never did get a chance to fight you once I mastered all my dagger abilities, I don't think I would have done nearly as bad. Between you and Yuvralin (you both would entwine me before I got enhanced reactions or either of my legacies) you guys took off a decent chunk of con. =(

I had the deepest impression that you hated my guts from our first fight onwards, and would likely go out of your way no matter what to try and kill me. You had all the preps, and I had none, so that pretty much made killing me pretty damn easy for you most of the time.

I'm just sad that everyone forgot me in the little time that I had to be away from CF. Its really because of that fact that I deleted, more than anything.

Anyhow, you were great really. Just always kept on trucking no matter what got tossed in your way. I just wish I could have been the other dimension to Brulgor, other than the flurry side of you.

Reaaly really good anathema, and I always been sure that I'm prepaired to fight you. Even through my protections you was hitting damn hard. At the end I developed way or 'Brulgor Killing' and used it quite well. But you know

Partly right. I was entertained by your rp. Being a killer was a bonus. Not many people can pull off rping a successful Anathema and living long enough to make it interesting. You didn't just drop the whole orderly thing and become a chaotic character. That's the easiest thing to do and many players try to do it that way. You spent your whole life being orderly and stayed orderly. You just had more enemies and fought more. Fine line that you played well. And because you played it well, I was happy to get you that third legacy.

I had just the opposite impression of the character. He got made Anathema, and the next day ran into a room where I was trying to fog a criminal for another to kill with guards, and killed me. Being not only a tribunal trying to fog out an Outlander, but a half naked mage with nothing he could even use, who had never even spoken to him before, I was a little put off at the pointlessness and randomness of that. This was followed with him showing up places where I was ranking with a villager to try and jump the group, followed by him being a criminal who hung on to first Scions, then Gistle for dear life.

I'm not saying any of this lessened his character in my eyes, but orderly? I just don't see it. If anything I had just the opposite opinion of his character.

I understand your point. But there is more to order than obeying the laws. He never changed his viewpoint. The difference being is that I see people get made Anathema and they automatically start talking/acting/rping chaotic. He did not do that. Were there times that he broke the law? Sure. But, they were far and few between what he did as a whole.

I'll \add that before Brulgor broke the law, he really pondered whether or not it was the "right" thing to do given the fact that he hadn't abandoned his orderly perspective. It really made for a good time for me trying to tease his inner Pico out during those on-the-fence contemplations.
