You are viewing a read-only archive of the Carrion Fields discussion forums built from a snapshot of the forum database on 2026-08-25. The search page works, though it is not as sophisticated as the old forum search. This archive encompasses approximately 25 years of CF discussion. Today, that discussion continues on Discord (see the main website for a link).

I had fun with character for awhile, but lately I've had alot of trouble getting into a character and sticking with it. I tried to come off accross as a real psycho with all of my preaching while grouped with people. I just felt like Muuloc made an assumption after snooping me once during a long tedious ranking session where I got tired of non-stop preaching. Anyways I'd appreciate any feedback i've been trying to get a little more in depth with my RP.

Even at his best (and I like to think I saw a bit of both extremes), I just couldn't figure out why this character was a) neutral or b) a druid. Evil shaman would've been a much, much, much better fit for the RP.

A) Wanted to get turned evil eventually and B) Thorn is teh PWN

I stepped it up a notch after Muuloc said something to me one day. And the lows... well who wants to type that much when they're drunk I'm itching to see is DEAD!

Well, that's pretty much exactly the thing I told you previously about the character. You really pretty much have to pick the RP, and go with it, rather than make the RP try to force changes for the character. While not really "powergaming", you made the character with the final goals in mind, and never really had the in-between which took you that way. You more just started out playing the evil, rather than a neutral druid who eventually became evil.
