This was a very fun experiment on the deadliness of gnomish warriors. While I'm not very experienced with PKs in general, I think I did decently with this character, and a little better than with my past ones. I had some really good fights and some really terrible ones. Oh well. This was my first neutral in awhile. I hate trying to rank them up because it takes forever.
My legacies were really obvious. Harvest (what gnome or svirf wouldn't take it?) and Balance. With those two, I tanked decently well. This is my bajillionth Outtie, and I still love the cabal. Though, its more fun when there are more enemies.
I didn't seek Immteraction, nor did I really stay long enough for it. I think I saw Innis about a couple of times and I said hi, but that was about it. I'd really like to see one of the Outlanders raise to Avatar. Seems like we haven't had one of those in a while.
Anyway, I met quite a few people. My favorites were Thrugald, Aeria, and Kipli. I was getting to like Grith and Crugald. The others, we really didn't interact all that much. Post a goodbye or hatemail and I'll reply.
Drifelda, Phaxhedea, Saephii, Carijisdun, Krystia, Qilibra, etc, etc. etc.

Ahh Drifelda...
Your character was a great companion. I always felt like you had horrible deaths when around me, but really appreciated your ability to usually get back up and keep on going.
I felt like this character deleted too early, but if it was to choose a class differently mechanically wise, it can't be blamed. Getting-to-know-you-wise I thought things were only just starting.
Drifelda was a pleasant and fun character to be around. Even if I didn't see you as super deadly, it was great to have you join me and you held your own. Aeria fights alone so much that sometimes it gets lonely and its good to have *someone* to talk to while laying traps, ambushes, and running to a million forests for herbs and forest friends. I also appreciated you could be depended on to come when I was outnumbered....and weren't we good at meeting death!?:
I enjoyed having you around, if I'm sad, it is mostly because the time was brief.
Farewell Drifelda

Oh goodness! Yes, it seemed that when I finally got into your range, we'd go hunt by each other and I'd fall pretty quickly. I'm not sure if it was because I was overconfident, or lost track of my health in all the chaos, or what, but that's okay. I learned a lot fighting by myself (which is usually where my survivability was higher), but I need to learn a whole lot more in group fighting.
I really have to say that I like Aeria a lot. She has the same morale-boosting affect that Tjok had, and I was always inspired by the things she'd say. In my opinion, she seems to work a lot harder than Tjok did as far as cabal inductions, motivation, and so forth; this isn't a slight to Tjok, I just think you work harder. Good luck with continuing the character. She's one of my favorites yet in Outlander. Sorry I didn't stick around longer. While not my shortest lived, 120 hours, or whatever, is quite a lot of time for one character, if you stop to think about it. One of these days, I'll keep a character around long enough to age-die.

This character was a big step up in terms of survivability/toughness for you. I don't think she had quite the RP style/presence of, say, a Carijisdun, but not bad in that respect, and it's not like anyone's every effort throws the full mojo in that department.
I'm really looking forward to see what you come up with as you continue to grow in the PK side of the game and combine it with your unique RP style.
Avatar, and what not, is something people apply for, if you didn't know. No Outlander has asked in a while.

You've left me beaming! Thanks for the compliment about the improvement.
As for RP, I really didn't put much thought/effort into it because the gnome warrior was an experiment I thought would fail. So, I didn't even write a role until hero, and then only finished a chapter of it. I kept expecting to hit the PK wall of diminishing returns like I have with so many other characters where I hit a certain level and my pks steadily drop to almost nothing.
>Avatar, and what not, is something people apply for, if you >didn't know. No Outlander has asked in a while.
I honestly didn't know you had to apply for Avatar. I thought it was something that was just asked of characters who seemed to be on the right track but were about to fade.
Thanks for the Neptitude.

That one time in Galadon cracked me up when you walked in and everyone just scattered. Very deadly character when you were around and I would see my pk range drop every few min. Well done

Ha! I don't think I got anything out of that. I remember the orc died shortly after, but I don't know if that was from me or he got caught in a bad teleport or something. I think the idea of having to deal with a Rager on a rampage and a kamikaze gnome hellbent on destroying civilization was too much for the poor citizens. Much hatred, also, goes to the guards, which got in the way every few steps. The few times I saw Lerimos, I enjoyed interacting with him. Good luck with his continuation.

I did not interact with you much but I defenentaly was aware of you. You should be proud of the fact that you were able to accomplish that level of notoriety with what is considered a weaker character combo.
I was a little surprised though when you asked me if I wanted to join outlander. The offer was apreciated but Throt is a stuborn SOB and wouldn't vere from his chosen path in life.
You should give a svirf villager a try, its always a lot of fun pickin on the bullies as a midget.

I think early on, we may have traveled once or twice. There weren't a lot of shorty warrior-types, and I know I hadn't traveled with Krag. With Harvest, one's greatest fear is having to fight your own kind, because you lose all of the advantages of being small. Luckily, I never encountered this problem and took great joy in one-on-one fights with people.
The things that I saw happen or heard happen with Throt make me like the character. Sorry we didn't interact more. Keep on going strong with the small warrior.

We could have torn up a lot of people, if you had just been willing to go with me more. Heh, Shaman and Warrior, flail spec with someone who can curse and dispel. I shudder at the possibilities. However, everytime we got together, it never seemed to work that way.
My one gripe has to be that often you didn't lead with entwine, but we all have our choices. I liked Drif and you definately showed me you were capable of being "deathful." Harvest is great, I loved it as Blidern, and I've never had balance. I've asked people what it is supposed to do, but everyone seems to tell me that you still can't wield something in your off hand and do main skills with it. So my thought was always, whats the point then.
I understood always about being a loner, but for Crug...nobody came at him alone, at least, not very many. I shouldn't say nobody. However, most didn't, and those that did didn't stay around if I could get them maledicted like i like. Oh well, Crugald lost his magic draw for me, with some things that happened, so I'll post more later when my char actually shows up here!
Great job, good luck with the next, come take a break from Outlander with me.
Aaron

It allows you to do spec skills with the weapon in your offhand. Exceptions are riposte and concealed, anything that needs two of the same weapon (duh), hand specs or exotic skills. Not sure if enigma (that the right one, exotic legacy?) would allow exotic skills from the offhand with or without balance. Maybe I'll look into that sometime, would only take a couple days to find out =P "Knowledge speaks, but wisdom listens." - Jimi Hendrix

I think I mostly didn't hunt with you was because I was trying to keep the gank-o-meter low. Shaman/warrior is a sick thing, and I'm sure we could have spent hours hidden on the Eastern Road just picking off whomever we could. Often, though, you were fighting someone I didn't want to fight. Drifelda didn't see a point to warring with the Fortress, just the dwarves, paladins, and conjurers that stepped away from it.
Problem with entwine is that you can't lead off with it. You have to be fighting someone first. So, you'd summon and I'd murder/entwine, but they usually fled in that first round, or I'd miss the entwine (perfected, it still missed a lot).
With Balance, I could wear the dagger in my primary and a flail or whip in my offhand. This gave me eight spec skills to start battle off with, and five more spec skills to use during battle without ever having to change my weapons. With that many options, there are a lot of ways to screw up, but because of windwalk and my size (especially if I had reduce preps), there wasn't a lot anyone could do to lag me, and most people would be too worried about the damage I was putting out. My main problem was fighting veterans that knew how to fight me, or the people I fought so many times that they knew what to do against me.
Crugald really is fearsome. Thanks for all the great times we had together.

Well, I said most of what I could say to you in person. You were much more deathful than a lot of people suspected you would be, I bet. Thanks for putting me on your top tier. One of these days I'll show up on here too, hehe.

Thrugald... is... harumm.. great. Harumm.
Ha! I love Thrugald's speech. We had a lot of fun ranking up together and harassing lawmen. Big fun! Harumm. You never struck me as playing a slow-thinker, but just kinda like a windy-breathed giant who took his time saying what was on his mind. Thanks for the last fight. You HAD to use the crushing flails, didn't you? ::mutter:: Good luck with everything you're planning for the character.

Well, thanks! I am going for the windy-breathed thing and I'm glad you got it, but some characters--especially you--would just whip out long, involved sentences that were just too much to handle at one time.
Well, you can thank me for not doing anything the last two rounds of the duel...I could have bludgeon/lashed and gotten a pk!
Have fun with your next!
