How can I start this experiment. Well, what inspired this character was after I finished reading the 6 part series of the Lloth series, I wanted to create a real, living, breathing truly chaotic evil dark elf. One that is brutally mean, flighty, words that strike like venom, and above all, a level of insanity thats not chaotic stupid insanity, but a kind of insanity that when someone interacts with this character they think, "Damn, commit this bitch to Arkham, she is just wacked." I could think of no better way to facilitate that kind of roleplay then to hate all Gods with a passion. The one thing I did not want to do was put in my role, "This person is insane", instead I wanted people to come to their own conclusions about the character, and judging by those I interacted with, I think I was pretty successful in bringing that across.
This was my first assassin with new assassinate. I had a few with old stand and hope assassinate with the +++++ ++++. Stalk/assassinate is pretty deadly if you can figure it out and be patient.
Hating the Gods and them as parasites. I always thought a non cabaled assassin would make the perfect character for this roleplay. Assassinate allowed you to take down the overpowered paladins, healers, and shamans. Being a dark elf just made it more perfect, sneaky, tricky, flighty, fickle, seductive, and deadly.
Dealing with the Immortals. I have no ill will toward any of you, but it seemed some of you reacted in such a way where you thought I was personally attacking you as a player. I'm sorry if this came across like this, it was not meant. Most of you took it in great spirit and I think allowed the immortals to create another depth to their immortal char, a few reacted in a way which was not very friendly... Sorry. I thought it was a great role and a great roleplay and I'm sorry if any of you took it in a bad way.
Dealing with the Immortals and Mortals. I wanted this character to have such a venomous tongue that people flinched when they had to interact with him/her/it. I tried to make my words just be brutal and evil, chaotic and venomous, and again I'm sorry if it hurt people's feelings.
I stopped counting the number of smites and plagues and trans to various vacation spots around CF. That doesn't include the number of faerie fires put on me by immortals while stalking their mortal followers, tessangrel sleeps, spells ups, blindnesses. It happened so many times I could not count. I did count in one hour span I recieved 14 smites and 12 castings of plagues (x 36 hours for each). I experienced polymorph on more then one occasion, strange curses like laringitus, fleas, sicknesses of many kinds, and a whole bunch of other delightful things. Thanks.
Individual Goodbyes: Arvam: Well, what can I say. You could not back down, I could not back down. And so I ate a horrible curse. Taking away hide was not something I expected in the punishment lines, but thats what happens. The super evil part of me is glad I caused one of the high heralds to rage delete and another who I took 3 or 4 con from. Revenge through followers, heh.
Aarn: I'm sorry to you. I sensed at the end you started taking it personally. I loved assassinating Xilla in front of you, and I was a little unhappy that you joined in with three other goodies to gang me at the entrance. If you didn't bash I would have escaped. To be fair to me, I was stalking Xilla before you arrived when she was at the inner guardian, and you brought them out to the outer. Loved butting heads with you.
Eshval: Hillariously entertaining. At points I think you were at a loss of what to do with me. I enjoyed using my venomous tongue on you and seeing how you react. Because of your vacation transes to the sands of sorrow, it became a second home. The best is when you had to retrans me back to the Sands of Sorrow because I got out right away, then you emptied my canteens and I rotted away, doh. Thanks for the fun.
Ordasen: I felt also that I pushed your buttons as a player, and I'm sorry for that. You were certainly brutal, but it was priceless when you missed pincering me. That gave me ammunition about the weakness of Gods for a long time.
Innis: I don't ever think we fought directly, but I enjoyed trying to kill our outer shrine guardian. And it coming after me.
Dalteric: me attempting to enrage and anger the Reason God was a great experience. You stuck to your guns and that was rare. You really played the Reason roleplay well. Good job. Oh and assassinating the Provost in Galadon was icing on the cake. I think it was you who gave me a little exp bonus for trying and failing the first time. Thanks.
Oh and thanks for finally giving me 5th place in the role contest. I know I entered three times. At some point I had to win, heh. Thanks again.
Grurk: Your spelling up was fun. I hope my story during the storytelling contest of taking something in existance and drawing it and pulling out to a tall tale was enjoyable. The story of the Empire that actually took over the world .
Shokai: Not much to say. First interaction, you silence me, then make an ooc comment about how its my fault if I complain about it later, bow to me then trans away, well, okay. My role pretty much gives immortals a get out of jail free card to rough me up as you see fit. That is really where I got the feeling that my character was pissing off the immortals ooc, and I'm sorry again. I kept getting exp awarded immortal bonuses after that and before that. I thought it was a viable RP. Sorry it left a bad taste in your mouth. P.S. is my tongue still around? Heh.
Khaso: I think of all the immortals I interacted with you, you were the most swave. You took notice of one of my personality traits about males being inferior and useless and used it against me in a quick and little and deadly curse. It was the perfect way of showing off God power in the meanest and most intelligent ways. Sure there were ways of crippling me that were obviously painful, i.e. no hide, no voice, but turning me from female to male was classic. You were the God Mizzarah most respected and feared because of our one interaction.
Brindlebin: I had you assassinted and here higher up immortals kept interfering. I so had you . Man that would have been perfect if I could have pulled it off... I got up to five good stalks on you as a heroimm and then you got warned. Bah!
All in all, good stuff.
Mortals: Sorry again if I enraged any of you with the venomous tongue. I mean, you are dealing with a chaotic evil insane dark elf. Its not like things are going to be rational.
I'm going to be general here, so post if you want responses.
Paladins: A hero level paladin versus a dark elf uncaballed assassin who hardly ever deals with preps or cares about preps, its not match. I stayed and fought those I could fight actually, shamans and such, but virtued paladins just made it useless. Add in the massive roving gangs, and that pheonix gate in that constantly happened to me and well, sorry, I'm not going to sit around and get ganged.
After losing hide, I knew I could not compete with virtued paladins who could kill me in one strike. So just like a chaotic evil insane dark elf, I decided to just frustrate and taunt. That half-elf paladin (U something) received the most of it, hope you are still sane .
Good fights with everyone else. Please post and I'll respond.

This character put us in a pretty hard spot. Your character directly challenged us, and went out of it's way to preach against us, and not in secrecy or silence, but directly to our faces. Now going up to an all powerful deity and doing stuff like that, well, depending, a good amount of gods in our universe would just squash you flat. Now we as a staff have rules against wanton killing and denying of mortals, so reacting to this style was very tricky for us.
It was frustrating on some level to basically have to just sit there and take it from a mortal while you went up to our faces to bad mouth us. After awhile I decided to take the gloves off and see how you dealt with some real challenges. Thats when I stripped hide from you. You did manage to land some assassinates without hide, which was impressive. (Even if they were largely on less pk savy types, but the targets did make sense from a role perspective. Lash out at my followers, etc, etc, etc.)
The imm awards were OOC, the punishments were IC. You're playing a character just screaming to get hobbled in the worst of ways. There's consequences to every role you play, and this was the breaks with one like this. I mean when you walk up to an alll powerful, almighty deity and start #### talking, realistically, you should expect some serious, serious consequences. You got off very, very light for a very, very long time.
Either way, well played character all around, just sticky to deal with on a number of levels.

You were infuriating, but it was kind of neat to have a real enemy. Always stylish (mean, spiteful!) RP. When I heard you lost your voice I suspected this deletion would come a lot sooner, since a heretic isn't much use unless he/she can rave (or call people pandering whores). Kudos for sticking it out despite.

It is doubtful that you will remember Garjamasra. (The felar anti-paladin you gave scathing taunts and insults to while you ranked with him in the Organia area, and who in reprisal randomly plagued mobiles to have you catch the disease indirectly.). However, my admiration for the character of Mizzarah prompted me to post here on your deletion thread nonetheless. You chaotic evil nature was in my opinion very well developed, you certainly also had the way with words required to pull something like this off convincingly, and the manner in which you continued to absorb all the abuse that was send your way for it was quite frankly inspiring.
We only interacted once, but given the impression Mizzarah left on me I thought I'd 'pay my respects' nonetheless. An impressive and worthwhile character my friend.
Well done.

I'm sorry you thought I was taking it personally. I don't see how, in a million years, you could justify being unhappy that I bashed you to death after assassinating Xilla in front of me. I verbally warned you, out loud, in front of everyone, that you had better go away. If I hadn't been trying to go easy on you, I would have just killed you outright.
The bash was irrelevent. Trust me, after doing that despite being verbally warned, there wasn't any way you were going to escape. Ofcourse posting the log on Dios afterwords for a big rant fest without any imm input was classy.
Anyway, at first I was impressed with this character, but then I came to the conclusion that you weren't really roleplaying anything beyond a desire to be an annoyance. I didn't get the impression that you were insane at all, I just got the impression that you hated imms and wanted to see how far you could push it. Maybe I missed the insane parts.

Yes, but that's what happens when posting on this board means your point of view could be *snipped* at any moment if an imm decides "it shall be so." Can't have it both ways, my stubby little friend.

However the concern in Aarn's post was that he should have posted it here. I don't mind if this forum is content controlled at a high level. If the immortal's objections to posting on Dioxides is the inability to control content, see IP addresses and ban users then by definition it serves its purpose as a neutral ground from which, were you to see fit to argue a point, you'd at least be arguing it on level ground. Just my 2 cents, I think if Immortals want to argue a point on Dioxide's we'd be happy to do so but at the very least we'll be able to argue our point to our fullest ability without the fear of being reprimanded.

I have nothing to do with monitoring the forums or editing posts, so I can't speak to that. And even if I could, a farewell post isn't the place for it, so lets not hijack the thread with a conversation regarding it.
My point was that he put the log up to draw criticisim against the immortals - namely myself in this case - ofcourse without giving the whole story, in a place where no one who knows anything can reply. I suppose there's nothing new there though.

Imms not posting on Dio's is a self-imposed restriction. If imms want to post on Dio's, they're free to do so. You can't blame someone for posting a log on a board where contrary posts are less likely to be removed, and then bemoan the fact that person isn't respecting your personal wishes .
I didn't read the log, don't know the history, etc etc. Just saying, most likely that log would have been deleted if he posted it here, so criticizing him for doing the logical thing doesn't carry much weight.

Which also made me think I was pissing off the immortals with my character, because every IP I logged in with this character was summarily banned from posting, that included my home IP, a cafe wireless I logged in a few, my friend's house IP, and my work IP. And again, I'm sorry if I made anyone angry with this character. Many people always talked about making an anti-god character, and so I did.

I have no beef at all. I posted it because it was funny. It wasn't a rant, I didn't say anything after that, I didn't rant, I didn't complain, ever. I knew what to expect. It was just a good log. I usually don't share logs until I'm dead but that was just classic goodness. The discussion that came on Dio's is worth some discussion here, granted not in my case, I deserved being slain at any moment, but for others it may be something to toss around.
As for posting it here. Unfortunately DC and Embuergo are right. It is an unfortunate side effect of these Forums and your policies and your moderators. And where was I to post it here, you have no log forum.
As for a verbal warning, that instance you did not warn me. You showed up at the inner with all the other goodies. I continued to stalk, you brought them down to the outer, I assassinated Xilla at the same instant that you tessangral'ed me. But it doesn't matter, I thought it was a great moment, and I wanted to share it, and I did. Why is that such a huge problem?
I don't hate the immortals, I do think I hit a nerve with some immortals with a different RP. And I'm truly sorry for that if it came across like that. Sure it put you guys in an interesting situation, and openly defiant mortal, but its not like I didn't know what to expect. I was expecting a lot worse. And I was hoping it gave all of you a different aspect to play with.
I was apologizing to you above, if that is worth anything. And I wasn't unhappy as in I didn't expect it, but it was just a sweet moment, to get away would have made it perfect .

I interacted with you more as a mortal than as an Immortal, and thought your 'parasite' analogy was pretty interesting. You did put the Imms between a rock and a hard place - that probably explains some of the different reactions you got. There's a lot of RP restrictions placed on us as Immortals that don't always mesh with what you would expect from an all-powerful diety figure in a mythical world. I think some of us felt that your role and roleplaying exploited those restrictions to your (relative) advantage, and interacted with you accordingly. Other Imms viewed it as a valid and challenging role, and interacted with you based on those assumptions.
Even though I place myself in the former group, I dealt with it IC by just simply ignoring you. Crazy dark-elf assassin that doesn't believe I'm a God? I've got more important things to deal with.
Now, all that being said, there were a few things about you that impressed me. One was the fact that you stuck with your role through thick and thin - I never saw or heard of you breaking character. Another was the fact that you did this and were still a capable PKer who chose their targets based on their RP. Mindless killers don't impress me. And finally, the fact that you enjoyed your character and your playing experience. That always impresses me.
Good luck with your next, I'm sure it will be an interesting one!

Not really (pushing buttons as a player) however you kept on pushing Ordasen IC, to which up to a point you were truly getting away with alot of things. After so much I said "fine, you want to push Ords buttons...he will treat it IC and not as an Admin" so thats when you started to anger the god of war calling him a coward. Hence the brutal deaths afterwards. (And the echo giving you a warning about how such will be treated ic).

beliefs came about. I just didn't want to state it outfront, I wanted it people to feel it more, and come to their own conclusion (which many mortals did). As for taking advantage of the immortals, I really don't see how I could do that. My role perfectly clarified that I was expecting the worst, and was re-enforced continually with later entries. You all knew you had a get out of jail free card, I even prayed that a couple times when immortals gave me an ooc warning.
Why is there this massive belief I was trying to cause any of you pain or agony or anguish? If anything, it forced immortal IC characters to look beyond their God position and have to deal with a character with their actual immortal personality. Dalteric did this awesome, Khaso did it awesome, Grurk, Ordasen (now that I know where he was coming from and why he did the warning), great.
I was under the firm impression that when an immortal is visible he is fully IC. I guess now the only thing I regret is that you guys were pulling punches.

It wasn't meant at all. What I expected for punishment was to be basically obliterated at the end. And it would have been a great end. Granted being silenced was a bigger curse then I thought. Unable to talk, communicate, get a group, anything, was way tough. And I could not preach... . So kudos go out to those people who do the mute role.

I thought it was a viable RP. Sorry it left a bad taste in your mouth. P.S. is my tongue still around? Heh.
A few things to keep in mind, first...I had no problem with your character oocly...other than the fact that I think playing an aethist or agnostic in CF is a relatively blind role to try to preform.(See your PBF for a better quote on this) The interaction Shok had with Mizz was very short, because well...Mizz was evil, and Shok has never tolerated disrespect for the gods (be they evil, good, or neutral)...so Mizz was pretty much the single worst person on Shok's list. OOCly I also thought that everyone up until that point had treated you with kid gloves...and well, since I figured you were still pushing the stakes...may as well give you one more hurdle. Hence the tongue on the silver chain. It also placed you in an interesting predicament since the only way to regain your voice was to get a god to heal you. If you thought any of what I said was ooc, I apologize for that, it was all meant IC.

I was wondering how long you would keep it up. Impressive i gotta say. We met a long long time ago, when you were at the start of your male hating and god hating quest. When you started bad mouthing me for being a male I tried to be a answer without being too hostile or blunt about it. I didnt want to fight you over some stupid insult and start a vendetta with you. Tried to let you know subtly that I did not appreciate your comments, after a while you stopped treating me as an inferior. I think it was after we shared some prey info and some kill sharing and showed you i could have been more than a match for you in a fight over that whole male thing. Sarmas did think you were insane and he played along with your things, knew you were going to get clobbered if not to death, close to it. Its amazing you kept it up this long and when i saw you going around trying to assassinate people without hide..i was like...damn, talk about a masochist.
Anyway, would have liked to be around your char more. Especially when you got turned male. I woulda laughed in your face. Yes imms get pissed off at chars like this. Great character.

I didn't see you as a pest, I saw you as a challenge. Truly, you deserved retribution from imms for your behavior, I just wish more of it had been interesting. Pity I couldn't interact with you more, I've been travelling like crazy lately, but I did watch you a few times, and was always intrigued. Enjoyed our interaction, wish we could have had more.

I'm afraid I'm going to have to call #### on this point.
I honestly can't think of any other player who has four or five different registered forum aliases specifically for the purpose of ####-talking the staff. It would also be hard for me to point to a player who expresses more generalized hatred for the staff. If there's no animosity there, you have a strange way of showing it -- not unlike the relationship between a drunk and his battered wife, minus the occasional tearful apology and promise to change.
In a vacuum, Mizzarah was definitely not a bad character, and one that got to do some cool/original things, but just as I'm most impressed by great characters that come from players playing against type (e.g. a longtime serial evil player doing an awesome paladin, a hardcore rager player rolling out a very memorable mage character, etc.), we'd be more impressed if a character like this came from a player for whom trash-talking random immortals was actually roleplaying and not just like every other day.
All that said, I'm still interested to see what you come up with next. Have fun!

I'm curious -- what was the story with that one time you were trucking around with (a shaman character that's still active), if you can explain it without giving anything away that shouldn't be? It seemed odd to me but I assumed there was some kind of justification for it.

I tried to kill that shaman all the time, but because of certain abilities he had, he was extremely difficult to corner and kill (or catch off guard) and was also a very careful character. His abilities counteracted much of my abilities at the time. I never grouped with him, but used him to assist me in killing other priests and when I could, I attacked him. He commented me on a number occasions that he was hunting or wanted peace, but I still attacked him. Unfortunately, I wasn't a huge damage outputter nor could I lag him effectively and I usually hunted by myself, so I failed.
In short. An enemy of my enemy (who is my enemy) is my friend (until I can find a moment where he is weak and kill him myself). Hope that answers my question.

Thought it might be something like that. That makes sense and seems reasonable given the RP of the character. It's the kind of thing that, in a similar situation, would get a character thrown out of Battle or whatever but Mizzarah wasn't exactly in that mold.

Just one point. I occassionally voice distaste with a few actions of the staff or people within the staff, but I don't hold out of character animosity towards said people. I don't think a certain V immortal goes around kicking puppies, or anything of that nature. It is possible to disagree with policies without hating the people specifically. I can dig that its hard to not take it personally, after all, why wouldn't you? But at the same time, I don't stay up at night thinking imms are rolling up morts to abuse coded skills or care all that much whether someone deletes a flame from someone who they've flamed.
I think you get a more refined product through the process of criticism and that with anything you truly enjoy things that make that less enjoyable will irk you and voicing concerns on that only helps improve the overall product.
CF is very much a community. I might say, 'Damnit Nep, how can you think bloody shackles aren't overpowered you jackass!' but that doesn't mean I wouldn't have a beer with any of you if you were out by me or that I hold hatred towards you. Just like I know a lot of the stuff I say pisses you guys off, but, at the same time, you never treat my characters poorly or ban me from the game or even from posting and a lot of the suggestions I make (relatively speaking) get implemented because they're good ideas even if I have a grating way of presenting them.
Long story short, I know Mizzarah doesn't like certain member's of the staff's policies and finds them, to put it bluntly, as "net bullies". That being said, I think any reasonable adult who holds animosity against another person over their policies in a text based game is a sad, sad person which I don't think Mizzarah is.

I have had two registered forum aliases and I changed from the first one for good reason. I also no longer post on any part of these forums except the battlefields for goodbyes.
If you want to continue to bring this up over and over, its not me who is having the problem, its you. I have upmost respect for most of the immortal staff and they know it. There are two certain ones, you included, who continually bring this up and drum up things from years past. You keep hammering away at it to justify something, whatever that is I don't know. I guess all I want to say is get over it. You see personal attacks where there is none. You see anger and rage when there is none. I have come to terms with those of the staff I disagree with and have moved on. Can you?
If this character really got to you as some kind of OOC attack, then something is wrong with you. If anything this character was a get out of jail free card to rough me up as a player as much as you want without problems. If this character caught you in an interesting and challenging position, I think thats great and I would think the staff would to.
Again, I enjoy the game, I enjoy the challenges, and have upmost respect for most of the staff. My way of dealing with those I do not respect is not to post anywhere else except for goodbyes. And for some reason, without fail, its brought up again and again and again. I actually had a side bet with one of my friends on when you or Valg was going to post this. Thanks for winning me some money .

I'm sorry, I don't buy that, and I think you know I won't buy that. I think this is drama for the sake of the audience.
What you're saying would make sense if I pretend certain posting aliases aren't yours, but they are. Unless by 'years past' you mean 'this year, including this month.'
It's a damn shame because you're capable of making awesome characters at times, many of which I've thought were great -- but I can't believe you don't hold animosity towards some or all of the staff, any more than I can believe the Grand Dragon of the KKK isn't a racist. Wearing a mask to do what you do doesn't change it.
At the end of the day I believe you made this character at least partially with it in mind to antagonize the staff and try to make them look bad, such as in the case of the Aarn log you posted. If not for your history and forum personae I might be able to believe it's innocent, but I can't.

You will continue to believe whatever you want, even without support. You want to see what you want to see to vindicate this post, which you have posted 2 or 3 times before, except with a different analogy, although this one was pretty good. KKK nad Grand Dragon. Although not the same level as your wife beating drunk one. That one is good too.
At the end of the day, if I wanted to be this guy of which you seem to think I am, I could do that, but I don't. I'm not bringing up things from years past about your mistakes or foolishness, nor am I drumming up and exposing all the darker sides of the immortal staff, including you and Valg. Except you do, and keep bringing it up. Over and over. Its you who is creating the drama. A better question is Why? Its you who seems to have this undying anomosity against me. And why did you highjack this thread for your own horn tooting?
Also if the player really matters, then why don't the immortals post their character lists or at least post what mortals they play? That would be an eyeopening experience.
Most likely this will be deleted and the forums locked. As what usually happens in disagreements with immortals. *sigh* And here I just wanted a nice goodbye thread, and you turn it into something else.

Go the whole of 2006 without posting anything attacking or trashing anyone on staff, under any of your existing aliases or new ones, here or anywhere else. Despite your feigning otherwise, you didn't do that for 2005 or even this month.
If you can do that for next year, I'll believe you're over it.
(Aside: I like colorful analogies. They're not generally themselves intended to be shots at anyone.)

2006 do not use IPs to trash talk players on their goodbye threads under your alias or your alias on on the immortal comments. Don't track IPs and use that information as weapons on goodbye threads to make you feel better. Despite you feigning otherwise, you didn't do that at all during 2005 or even this month. Do note it was you, who constantly brought it up and attacked me as a player. What am I supposed to do? Not defend myself? Lie down and quiver before you? You attacked me, expect a response.

Thanks for saving me the time of typing all of that-- I also can't think of a player who has sown more vitriol (under at least a half-dozen aliases) for the staff than this one has, even going back a few years. One or two people are in the ballpark, I guess.
The sheer volume of tears being shed because some staff (me included, but not nearly alone) felt this character's roleplay was "just like every other day" is interesting, though the sources of the tears are not surprising in the least. Mizzarah was treated with restraint-- had we simply slaughtered or crippled him immediately, the same people would absolutely be howling about how the unfair imms abused their power and smacked him down. I know from internal discussion that this concern was a source of some of the restraint he received- people don't like dealing with the cry-fest.
And of course, the above concern is heightened when the person involved is well aware of the existence and wording of those policies, and can thus exploit them.
My personal decision was to ignore this character other than field questions from other staff about how to handle him. (For the record, it's always been my opinion that people were too conservative with Mizzarah, although I understand the hesitance originated from our internal policies about not causing mortals to die where practical. Staff have been censured or demoted in the past for taking excessive liberties there.) I remain unimpressed with the role's execution, which is a shame because the underlying concept would have been interesting in the right hands.
At the end of the day, if the worst conspiracy floating around is "Valg was unimpressed by a character and gave his reasons for it.", we're doing a pretty good job.

If you're designing a character that you think should see, by their nature, a beating from one or more immortals or IC negative consequences of that kind, your role is an excellent place to share that with the staff. I love elaborate story roles as much as the next guy, but the command is really there as a communication channel between you and us; it's your chance to explain your character and get us on the same page as you. If you're cool with your felar anti-paladin catching 50 slays and ebola because he thinks Shokai is his deadbeat long-lost dad and keeps trying to collect on back child support, say so.
Looking at a role like Mizzarah's, while well-written and distinctive, I can't tell if you're giving me carte-blanche for something like that or if you're closest MUD equivalent of the sorority girl who goes to a party dressed provocatively but intending to remain a virgin. As a staff we tend to err on the side of assuming consent for brutality from on high is not there.

So it was a good idea for me to send the note to a certain Immortal telling he had carte blanche to do with my character as he wished with respect to the role story? Is that what you would like as Imms so you can develop a storyline not only with the character in question but the others also involved at that time with respect to dire things happening? Also do you prefer characters that are scripted throughout their existence or ones that adapt as situation requires it.
With respect to Mizzarh, you and Valg should just ignore him, the community obviously knows of him and most players and I would say all the Immstaff understand to never take a player's perspective at what went down. You two are giving him fodder for his little tirades and self delusions.
And finally how much burnout do you Imms suffer after playing a dedicated character for over 300 hours? Can you get back in the saddle right of way or do you need some "me" time to get your soul back?

I think an appropriately titled role entry is often the best way to handle this, but some guidance is better than none.
>Also do you >prefer characters that are scripted throughout their existence >or ones that adapt as situation requires it.
Personally, I prefer characters that grow and change, but I'll qualify that. I think the best characters do change throughout play but also have a lot of constant to their character as well.
A character who constantly changes direction because things aren't working out with the paths they pick and goes any which way the wind blows isn't all that interesting to me. A character who is easily identifiable as basically the same character at the start and end of their life but also undergoews real growth and change is.

Tears being shed? I failed to see any of that going on, I found the topic interesting for the reasons I stated it was interesting.
Absolutely? I'd appreciate it if you didn't make assumptions about me which are false. If you'll note, in his logs on Dio's, I didn't post once that it was unfair the way he was treated. I assume you're referring to me, since I'm the one who said he should've been denied or multi-slain. If you're talking about someone else, feel free to correct me but I think its somewhat presumptuous to assume I'm disgenuine in my statements.
Its a rather unfair statement to make, given I have no opportunity to defend that. Since when has anything I've complained about been an issue for you guys anyway? I didn't think you took it that seriously that it inhibited a group of immortal's actions.
