Thanks to everyone who interacted with me. Thank you Innis for empowerment, my first serious attempt at it. I had fun at first but lost myself toward the end, would have like to try and get back into your good graces but my time has seriously declined, but more so I did not know how to go about it, I would like to know more why my empowerment declined, I have an idea but not sure.
I do not think I made a good paladin, but I liked the interaction I had with this character, it was actually nice being an obvious target all the time, I did not mind being PK'd frequently that much by Zimel and the many necros of the time it just gauranteed action almot everytime I logged on, and I was never confused about who might be coming my way.
Players:
Zeoine, thank you, you know what you did for me.
Eerolyn/Caitlyn, had a lot of fun hanging out at the inn and ranking with you, wish I had been more active when you where around. Glad you did more with yourself than I could have with myself.'
Sessha, thanks for talking to me in the inn, opened the door a little for an otherwise very shy, quiet giant. I was always happy to see you around, a very 'bright' follower of the Sun Born.
Kyn, Forsk and other paladins I ranked with early, thank you for letting me hang around with you. You where shinning examples of what a paladin should be, I had hoped to learn more than I did from you, better luck next time I suppose.
Meagara, I was happy to have read your role and figured out what was going on with you! I really had no clue about the dragon within. Cool concept and well roleplayed from what I witnessed (Very little). Good luck with what is coming!
Anyone else who remebers me, post I will reply, my memory has faded a bit.

Sorry to see you go, after Caitlyn I looked around for you with a few lowbie characters I tried out, and just couldn't get back into anything for a while. Was nice having someone to be lazy around the Inn with. Got me to smoking that pipeweed with Eero when she was getting close to death, that was a lot of fun. Thanks for all the good times.

I really liked grouping with you. I'm somewhat surprised that this is your first Paladin, because you played it quite well from what I saw. Polite, courageous, and steadfast. You didn't seem to be much of an "evil-destructor" but not ever paladin has to be.
Good luck with your next!

Well, your loss in empowerment was tied directly to your actions, but I won't delve into those on a public forum. If you noticed the maladies you acquired, they would offer a hint.
Folks often have little time to interact, I try and take that into account with empowerees and cut them some slack. Next time you seek a patron diety, it is suggested that you very carefully try to marry yourself to the tenets of the god/religion. As a follower, I would say you were average until your decline.
Good luck on whatever shows next.

Thanks for the respone, I figured thats what did it, but wasn't sure.
Also, thank you for giving me a chance, I did not ever really figure out the whole religion but was very happy to be given a shot.

What I have found is not all folks 'get' the religion thing the first time they attempt it. Empowered characters are a bear and paladins are contantly under the microscope. Because you didn't get the thrust of the religion the first time, I would hope you keep at it to see what it is all about. You have the makings of a competent paladin if you are willing to take what you learn from any errors you made. For empoweree, I am willing to take the time to see if I can help folks work through any problems. Because empowerment is reduced or a tattoo taken, does not mean the character isn't viable or cannot be redeemed in the religion.

You were so damned Paladiny, that you forced me to be Paladiny even when I was just trying to grind away a few ranks while doing chores!
I havren't had a serious character since Kyn, but I saw you from time to time and I felt like a drowning victim. I could see the light, but I wasn't going to make it to the surface (You) before you sailed away.
I remember thinking, that the two of us together were going to be some ranking Machines, but it seemed like I would eat a MOB death, and we would be stuck Role Playing instead!
Good times all around. I think I will have another Paladin soon, I;ve thrown away 3 in the last 2 months, because I can't get into one... Well one was fun as hell, but that's another story.
Anyway, good job, see you in the fields.
