Well, since I have no clue when I'll auto-delete and I'm still in limbo after the move (on a borrowed computer at the moment), I just wanted to pop in and say goodbye. Mikatra was a blast to play but then came moving time. I thought I would start Qilibra and then finish heroing after the move, but the move took longer than I expected. Anyway, I shot to hero and then lost cancelled my internet service. Rather than individual goodbyes, I'll goodbye the cabals and any who want to post, I'll reply when I can.
Before goodbyes, I'll make a comment about felar pole/hand specs. They are really awesome. I picked pole first and hand second, and I wouldn't change it. Major damage can be done with either. I chose Maelstrom and Dance as my legacies. I loved Maelstrom and will probably choose it again for a future character. Requesting gear from things you can't see REALLY helps, plus having a polearm against thieves and assassins that have no way to hide from you is just plain awesome. Redirecting while blind helped a lot too. I got mixed reviews from people who tried Dance. Some said it was great, some said it was horrible. I think I could have chosen something better. Still, it was an awesome combination and I would have liked the chance to explore the nuances a bit more.
GOODBYES:
Outlander - Still my favorite cabal. I've played uncaballed once, Herald once, and Tribunal once. Nothing is more fun, in my opinion, than Outlander, whether its during its weak times or its strong times(Okay, maybe its weak times ARE more fun). Everyone I got to travel with, thanks for helping me rank so fast. Qing, you are an awesome Sunwarden, with leadership skills remiscent of Tjok. I think it is mainly to your credit that Outlander has attracted some of the best crew we've had in a while. Great job. Everyone else also makes the cabal great and what it is. My only complaint is that I think the cabal is losing some of its Avante-Garde RP skills in the shuffle of all these numbers.
Tribunal - I didn't encounter too many of you this time around. The cabal seems to be waning. Kudos to Gordath for always sticking around to fight. Axe/hand dwarf vs. pole/hand felar made for some interesting fights. Hand to hand was the best way to go, but to stop the pincer, I had to put the pole in front of me. Good fights, and I hope to see you all rebound soon.
Empire - Whom I fought most of the time. I tried to fight the lot of you fearlessly. I had a few fights where it was two of you vs. myself and a healer not in your range. Was a blast. The bard made fights interesting. Well done everyone. With my specs and legacies, I was always willing to try to retrieve, no matter what the odds, and there were usually enough of you to make things really fun.
I didn't really interact with too many others, but post and I'll reply.
