Its a shame you had to go and do this, and its a shame you never made it into the fort. Thanks for all the great gear, and thanks for all the heads up. Since I deleted Lokain about a year ago I kept asking myself what it would have been like if I had heroed and how deathful of a class a binder could be at the higher ranks. Well I was expecting to learn cheapshot and I never did and then after I actually attained my goal of hero I didn't really have anything else to look forward too. Then I finally figured out how to get to "The Tower" and I kind of got the bug and I want to try it out with a more survivable class. Another reason for deletion is that it took me about 130~ hours to hero and when I finally got there the amount of hunting was virtually non-existant since I adamantly refused to kill neutrals.

Anyways onto the goodbyes.

FORTRESS: I really think the goodie cabals should revert back to how they once were. Either make Marans how they once were but I am sure Shokai doesn't want to be burdened with being in charge of all the induction like before. Give them one leader, a strict STRICT limit, and a seperate item from the Acolytes and put their base in a different area. I just think 4 leaders inducting is too much. I thought that when I was Jhanderin and I think the same now. Surely I dont put any blame on either Imms or Morts, this is just my opinion only.

Jezrael: I really really hated you at first. I thought you were a really pompous powermonger. Then you changed a little and we started to have a pretty strong friendship and I thank you for that.

Ginharq: Had a nice talk with you but I didn't see you all that much later on when I had reached your pk range. You are a very good transmuter.

Heas: I have run into your types before and you may even be that same guy who I had talks with as Jhanderin. I didn't like the philosphy then and I don't like it now. You were a well played warrior but I think your ideas of what a Maran are tend to be a bit myopic.

Kalumgar: We did at lot in the middling ranks and then you just shot right up past me and then I never saw you ever again. You helped me out quite a bit when I got in jams and I thank you for that.

Sydrian: I thought you were pretty cool. I didn't really know what you were about but you showed me than an elf axe spec isn't as crazy of an idea as I thought it was.


SCIONS: You guys were around a ton right before I peaked into the hero ranges and we battled it out plenty. Contrary to popular belief by a few of you I probably only called to a Fortie for help less than a handful of times and all those other times they just kinda stumbled in and started bashing or doing something that I really wasn't expecting or wanting.

Kimberly: I really really really hated your name and your persona on the forums. And I would by lying if my subconscious didn't make me gun for you more than others but I like to think that I hunted every evil as much as the next. Aside from all that BS I thought you were a very talented player and you should just keep quiet OOC. Also, mix up the spell you like using when I fail a blackjack. I knew I was always safe from you if I failed because of that specific tactic.

Dupayne: I thought you were very skilled as well but I knew you were frustrated after you never seemed to rank. Necros are a little like thieves in that they can be tough to rank unless you have good circumstances.

Yargus: Umm as far as I can recall I NEVER called in help when I had you down. And then that one time you started getting all OOC because I stole your wands? Whatever man, you didn't even die. I had a HUGE amount of respect for your char and your skill until then. And I was really disappointed that you decided to go that route because you kind of ruined your whole persona in that one instance of frustration.

BATTLE: I probably had better allies in your cabal than any of the aforementioned cabals.

Kocet: I loved you man. Always willing to brawl and always someone I could rely on with complete and total trust. If I knew you were near I knew I could count on you to scout and to not #### things up for me. Cheers!

Kjelror: You were great man. A really well played villager. I remember the first time we met you almost bashed me to death. How things changed from there.

OUTLANDERS: Didn't really know any of you so there is nothing to say.

EMPIRE: I didn't really have long drawn out feuds with any of you like I did with Scion but a few of you stood out.

Vinson: You are a quality healer and I think if you played more, or perhaps you do just not during my times, you could really turn that cabal around.

Nievar: Same thing as with Vinson. You have obviously played stealth classes before but like I told you when I was younger, I wasn't scared of you because I never saw you.

UNCABALLED: A few of you folks who I knew throughout my life.

Rilliana: You and I did a lot of talking. Never knew what kind relationship we had but I knew I could count on you for anything.

Therriault: You were like Kocet in a lot of ways. A strong keen hunter who I could unconditionally trust.


Anyways I am officially done with my binder experiments. They can be pretty damned powerful but the feast or famine aspect of the class is just too much for me to handle in a sane fashion.

I usually try to log in at least once a day but the timing varies. I enjoyed the talk as well, and was quite surprised with what you told me. I guess I've been in the Fort for some time and don't really hear what's on the outside huh As a player I agree with most of what you said, but as a char, Ginharq is a soldier.

Thanks for the ragged cloak and cube of force for 5 gold..I'll never forget that deal it was quite funny. And thanks for all the other little things here and there as well!

You played a binder annoyingly well. Our first encounter, which was on the ocean, was when I failed five sleeps in a row. I had a sinking feeling that our encounters from then on would be in your favor. I think the thing with binders is that they are *extremely* powerful against a player like me (who hunts alone for the most part and rarely groups), but against the general CF populace, they'd be nigh on useless (since they all roam around in hordes). That is the sole reason why I don't bother playing one. I know that I'd have someone nicely bound and gagged only to have someone else walk up and untie them. Kansun was the *only* person I really wish wouldn't bother me as I went about trying to be deathful

Well well well Kansun. We rose through the ranks together, and atfirst I had a negative opinion of you knocking people out and then having 2/3 elves take them down. But later on in life, after I saw you take down Wauldenz I was extremely impressed. The thing with binder thiefs is like you said feast or famine, but I have found even that famine is pretty good. Overall I really liked you, and always could count on you as a friend and fighting ally. See ya in the fields.

Yeah when I was younger I usually called in someone when I was fighting an arial because I knew I would never be able to kill them. And then later on when I finally learned knife I stopped doing it because I no longer needed them. However, once people started to realize what my char was capable of doing I would get sent tons of tells asking for me to tell someone when I had an enemy knocked out. It wasn't even like "Hey tell me if you see Soandso" or "Keep an eye out for Thisdude" it was basically requests for "Truss someone and then tell me so I can come and bash them and get an easy kill" that started to leave an ugly taste in my mouth and that was another mitigating factor to my deletion.

It was wierd that at that moment I happened to acquire all the non-concealed wands, some of which I thought were concealed. So when you knocked off like 7 wands I thought they must have changed it so concealed wands could be stolen, maybe some special thief guild ability or something.
So I really was pissed about that, not so much you.

Once i realised, I started to stock up on concealed wands. This game is all about wands.

You never was close to killing me, but I often dropped items in the Throne Room before going to the Vanquisher, as you always hanged around. Good work.

You were the only person I could never knock out. No matter how much or how quickly I would spam blackjack, you would always get me first. I wasn't too terribly afraid of being bound, but it was annoying to lose all my inventory every time I encountered you (I'm supposed to be doing that to everybody else).

Anyhow, the day you turned traiter and started attacking everybody in the guild left me feeling like blackballing wasn't good enough. Being blackballed seemed to be more of a reward than a punishment for you, and I didn't like doing you any favors. You did make me rethink my strategies, since it has been pretty rare for me to have to fight another thief. You didn't have to be a #### and say juvenile things every time I had to flee and wait out my bindings, though.

Oh, I am around. But for some reason we did not cross much.
I was not afraid of you eather.
But I was afraid of 'blackjack, call Maran gank squad'.
I died to them enough already.

Oh and I hate thief-vs-thief fights. They basically narrow down to who blackjacks who first.

I will echo Duapyne saying when all your enemies walk in groups, it makes binder thief next to useless. And they do. ALL THE F*CKING TIME.

Kansun i loved havin you around man, i remember from the youngin days where this person hidden was givin me all this nice stuff and then you'd pop out. I liked your char man wished you were in battle so we could have travelled more. peace.

For awhile it was a big part of my plan to shower enough tribunals with gifts so that I would get the benefit of the doubt during those "judgement call warrants" that I may or may not have been up against. Sometimes it worked and sometimes it didn't. But then after I knifed to death someone in an adjacent room of a Justiciar and after you woke up "Mystery Guest" (I dont want to say who because I don't want any possible intrigue you may or may not have going to be spoiled OOC) I just said "Man, forget this" and didn't try to put up any kind of show for the Tribunals anymore. I did advance through the ranks with only a handful of the current Spire crop but I didn't really bond any strong relationships with any of them. It's a pretty good group as far as I can tell but it's Trib is probably the hardest cabal to judge form the outside looking in.
