Some of the helping of citizens is just I'm so fin tired of every one of them up and deleting!
heh, its been rough for Imperials for a while as the pendulum's been swinging hard through all our enemies, and it seems no one really wants to stick it out. Shame that, you did good as a priest, I was looking forward to spending more time with you.
As to promotions and Anathemaing, eh I've definately done more promoting, its to be expected, but I've anathemaed a few here, and indeed would have anathema'ed a few back when I was war master if I had the ability. As you yourself pointed out, everyone steps rather carefully when I am around so as to not be giving reason towards it.

Let me predicate this by telling everyone up front that I will not share IC info via OOC means. So if your wanting to know where I got spiderhands, haste, slow, stone skin, aura, shield or any of that stuff, don't bother. I do however like to chat about role ideas, warrior combos and other CF related chit chat. I also am funny. No, make that VERY funny, and I'm quite sure that I am a delight to talk to.

I gave my fiancee a puppy for Christmas, and he has pneumonia. Its real touch and go, and I got distracted and forgot to put up the AIM and email. He has to be force fed some fake puppy milk every couple hours, and we were due for a feeding. The poor thing has to fight for every breath, and he looks so sad. Its amazing how a little 3.5lbs puppy can take the tough guy right out of you.

I waited a week to see if my desire to delete and play something else would be short lived. Not sure why I don’t want to play Waeldyn anymore, but I think its mainly a combination of my own constant mistakes in PKs coupled with a lack of quality RP. I also really missed interacting with Khasotholas.

I’m going to take this opportunity to digress quickly on a subject that, I feel, affected this character. Some years ago my characters all made “friends” (using the term loosely) with cabalmates and reoccurring groupmates. Now I think a lot of those relationships are lost because people don’t interact character to character any longer. Most people form groups on AIM, and I myself have been known to do it from time to time. The problem with this, in my opinion, is that a lot of the fun leaves RP when you know the person your RPing with. As a result I think fewer characters get fleshed out, and so the opportunity for in depth RP with a variety characters dwindles.

Newbies are the hope of the future, untainted by the bitterness of veterans. Be helpful to them, as that will ensure the future quality of our mud.

Brelinak: Sorry you died around me, man. I have a balls to the wall playstyle that always has a tendency to negatively affect groupmates You were this characters closest thing to a friend.

Grurk: I truly appreciate your attention to the cabal, and all the immteraction you gave me. If I could humbly offer some constructive criticism, I think that maybe you’re a little too involved. You promoted me a couple times without an interaction when the Emperor could have just as easily done so, as well I thought we heard from you a little too often for it to be special and rare.

Ceikelak: I loved having you around, always made me breathe easier because people act like they are supposed to, and I had someone to hunt with. Again, if I could offer some constructive criticism I’ day you are WAY WAY WAY too nice. I remember as a newb seeing you lead around blades telling them where to get donations, and you defiantly don’t anathema as often as I think you should. The Emperor isn’t there to help the citizens, he’s there to rule over them. I’m damn sure in real life you’re a nice guy, and while I’d love to go have a beer with you, I don’t think you’re a very good evil emperor.

Norkibjorden: You are the ####ing man, dude. No matter how many times you get beat down, you stay positive and keep coming back. I really felt bad killing you towards the end, because I identify with you very well. I wish I had a log of a quick talk I had with Tjok after killing you. I said something like: “I may rend his flesh, but no one will break that ones spirit.” Feel free to email or AIM me. Norkie!!

Jaeiin: Good talks, good fights. Keep up the good work.

The thing I liked best about you was how well you made me appreciate having hth as my second spec. There was also this one time, you showed up at the refuge, and killed both me and Norkie, and I was sitting there in Emerald Forest, going, whoa, we just got owned. And for some reason when you sent me a tell saying, That's true power cur, I couldn't stop laughing. Haha, well, good job, and see you around.

Also a very fond memory of mine! I'm glad you didn't take Waeldyn too seriously, and got a good laugh out of my pompous ass. Keep on truckin', trucker. Or something...

You sent me an email and a note saying you needed to speak to me, hinting you needed more interaction. So I say to myself, ya know, he's right, let's get moving on the immteraction a little more with the Divine's. Then you stopped showing and foiled my plans, and yours! Ahh well, good, albeit brief, character.

Khas

Whenever I get a post like this I remember the guy that heroed a shifter using no spells whatsoever, RPing all the while that he was descended from dragons. Then he deletes moments before being given a kick ass dragonform. That guy had it worse than me.

You seemed to be competant and consistant from my point of view. A duergar shaman against a faith paladin is never a good matchup, throw in the fact that I had improved wrath and a lot of save vs spell gear and searing light weapons and well it just wasnt't your day unless you could get me knocked out. You did well though. My only bit of advice your taunting while you were consistant with it just didn't feel right I mean its ok to talk a big game and I would expect it from an imperial but after you get beaten back like 10 times in a row and nearly get one rounded even an evil high priest would realize that he was just being a little foolish. all in all though it was fun fighting you cause I knew you would always give it a chance and you nearly got me a couple of times.

No mention of me? We fought alot throughout all ranks. I didnt really like the taunts and all that but you seemed to try hard. I think Evil shaman vs goodie conjurer is extremely one-sided and accordingly didnt really give you the respect im sure you deserve. (Lesser archangels with and ABS is gonna win every time in solo fights imho) You were gutsy and fought alot which I appreciate. I cant even recall killing you, its been so long since Ive seen you in game.

Goodness.. There were times where you'd kill me several times in a session and each time, you always asked me to take the oath. I think I was wearing you down, though, because I nearly killed you once and one time, after you slew me, you asked me to take the oath while you sighed. I figured if I threw my corpse on you a few more times and bled all over your nice armor, you'd eventually get tired of it and just suicide until you con died. But I guess this strategy worked too. Good luck with your next! It was fun dying to you so many times.

I picked fights with a lot of people and it was damn easy to tell that you were a skilled player. That is why I enjoyed fighting you so much. The odds were definitely stacked in my favour though, maybe I am biased, but a midbie necro should always defeat a midbie shaman. It would have just been a matter of time before you got me though (even though you decided to power rank instead of enjoying the mid levels).

I've never really understood the Empire though. Some citizens demote for weakness, some shrug it off and promote through it. I found it wierd how Izuaki promoted you right after I killed you. Anyways, you probably deserved it.

You did well as a shaman, well done indeed. For some reason, you didn't hurt me often and quickly worded into a fight. Some would say cowardly, I would say smart. You never ever stick around to fight a dagger spec unless you want to die to bleeding, or have some way to get to a healer quick. See ya in the fields!

You were very tough, and did a lot of damage to me despite black shroud. Your one of the people I had on my list of must-kills when I have preps. Any shaman should be able to kill any villager if they prep. (just about) Most people don't realize it though because most people don't play shaman well.

You where tough like every imperial shaman as your almost impossible to lag long enough to kill. Though I can't say I didn't enjoy killing Brelinak each time he bj'ed me, while you two where together =D

I remember before you got commander the village was EMPTY and you were the only rager on waaaay more often than not. You stuck it out though, and earned commander over a lot of other impressive villagers. (though I was surprised that you got commander over acaga)

You were a tough bastard to beat, but there was one tactic you could have used but never did.

Its tough to kill someone you can't maladict long enough to matter.
