I think it might be a little more explained in there when it's posted, but I actively passively worshipped Amaranthe. You may have had some success in converting me, but at the same time Manden was concerned with having the leader of the Spire not be a Ki-Rinite because he thought it would lead to greater conflict with other cabals.

Some of what lead me to dislike you was what I perceived as a sorely lacking sense of humility (I'm pretty quick to slap that label on people, so don't worry) especially in regards to combat matters which I didn't think you were capable of backing up. That doesn't really explain it very well, but one example was when we were both Provincials and heard a report of criminals in Tar Valon. You made me wait at the pillar so you could give me sanc and by the time that happened plus the transport time they were gone and had killed someone (I think).

Actually that was my paranoia.

I had someone die on me once, so after that I was *very* quick to insist on sancing people, making a plan, wording them out, ect. One time I did it too quickly and got yelled at because the guys I worded were beating down the party that ambushed us.

I think I could probably count on one hand the number of times I fought people that weren't criminals or members of enemy cabals. I had a very long stretch where I had some quite good eq and the bloodstone rings among other things, because I hadn't died for a long time, but other than that I don't think I had them more than once or twice.

I avoided Derafhac especially when you weren't a criminal because I knew you could fight well on your own and I knew you could call in thugs too to kill me. Didn't you play an Outlander recently?

I really enjoyed the feel of Verd. I was worried at first about allowing a druid as a Magistrate; who knows, you could still have some things up your sleeve!

Heh, well kind words. Though I made nothing look easy. It wasn't that I was a good leader, it was that magistrates like you made it look like I was doing a good job. I didn't do anything spectacular that I'm aware of, I just got lucky to get Provost during a time of a lot of applicants, more than could be inducted, and almost all of which were good Magistrates. I remember seeing you go from Seantryn to Galadon and Grurk telling me he did it because of your dedication and I knew then you were going to be something big. We were a bit distant, probably because Tambar is a strange gnome, or perhaps because Kaplanov put a rotten fish in my knapsack.
Manden was a very likeable charachter. I must admitt that i was a bit worried how we would get along in the beginning, but it worked out fine. You guided the Spire through some ruff times, and you did a very good job. With Soriah, Alarian and now you gone the Spire is weakened, but i have no doubt that your work will be continued and remembered.

If we find time i will have a wake for you in one of Hentogi`s brothels.

Even though we were never in the same league, level, anything like that, one cannot help respect the Provost when they are constantly "wanted". Its fun giving aura to Outlanders and then hiding out where you can't get to me. The most fun about being a healer on the run is running from the law. I know my job will be much easier now with you gone, but who knows if it will be as fun. I think you forcefully removed the "wanted" flag a few times with your lieutenants, but I got back at you by healing the Spirit and sancing Djesoe and Tjok. Very well played. Quite fierce. Even with an aura, you still would massacre and mangle the Spirit. Good luck with your next. I hope I was a constant annoyance for you and your cause.

You get away, but then you were silly enough to come to the Spire to rescue someone...three sets of special guards, manacles and then my lieutenants....ouch.



You were an annoyance, definitely. One of the nice things about having an unending supply of eq in your pit is that you are well-geared, even though I generally gave back some armor if you hadn't committed too many crimes and didn't mouth off before or after my guards got you (or were an Outlander, heh) so I was pretty well equipped generally. If Tjok were there and I had no way to faerie fire him I generally left because I knew I was dead meat. He is fierce, man...

Good luck, you definitely help the Outlanders a lot with your presence!

I'd never interacted with you (with any characters) before you moved me from Seantryn Modan to Galadon, so I don't really know anything about you other than as an Imm.

I had fun watching you grow during this time. I knew you'd end up
a leader or Justiciar.

After Arkham my character didn't like you much but you were my superior.

Awww. I'm hurt. Well, not really. It was all part of the plan.
This was a low activity period for Tribs, so I wanted to try and
drum up some kind of conflict. It was also around this time I
started to "drift" to to evil. So that might account for some of
the dislike as well.

A few things. Arkham, first. The one thing that I disliked the most about that interaction was the the paladin there tried to request the item from the Badeker but was too low of a level to get it, and then the Badeker told us that if she'd just requested it he would've given it. I understand that she should've probably said something beforehand of afterwards to that effect, but that part was a little frustrating. I'm hoping that part of the reason Arkham never turned into anything greater was because of the way I dealt with it instead of you all just not wanting to carry it any further. Let a man dream, man

The other thing: You always seemed so happy when I'd mention the Spire was close to war with another cabal, especially the Empire. This right before you betrayed and went over to the dark side fully. It sure would have been interesting had we actually been at war before you did this. Um, but, yeah, you probably don't need to comment on that, heh.

After I got leader I was always hoping you'd notice I had (what seemed to me, at least) a redundant legacy with Renewal of Spring and let me choose a different one


As for immteraction, I mention the first couple of weeks after 53 because it seemed like every time I so much as nodded at a mob during that time I'd get a response. I figured the woodcutter was you too, who else would sit around and watch two Tribs talk in the middle of a deserted city other than the Father? Take care.

I figured you knew what you were doing, and I was actually quite surprised that you managed not to get caught having zombified any of the corpses. You definitely seem to know what you're doing and I hope for your and the Spire's sake you hero in some fashion.

This may hav been more due to Amaranthe-influence in Manden than his alignment as other evil-aligned people that weren't necromancers generally didn't get too much scorn from him. Having to deal with and treat fairly people like you was one of the things that made being Provost interesting but also pretty difficult at times.

You gave soriah the opportunity and chance to do what she always wanted to, keep people safe, protect them, be for them what she didnt have when she wandered off looking for that park.
You were her knight in shining armor, and even though it would hurt her badly, if you told her to die, she would have committed suicide for you. I hope though, even though the hugging/kissing aggrivated you, that she at least made you feel better ic and ooc eh.
At times it seemed like it did. Anyway man, I thought you were a pretty good provost. See you in the fields.

I liked Soriah, it's just I didn't know how much of a future she would have in the Spire since it's not exactly the most touchy-feely place around.

You were around during a very stressful time for Manden, and like I alluded to above I tended to transfer some of that stress to myself. Many times, the thought of someone trying to come up and hug or kiss me at that time my first reaction would have been to punch them if I weren't such a heavily self-monitoring character. Thus the pause, weary smile, and less-enthusiastic reciprocation. Other times, it was great and very welcomed.

I really liked Archas and was pretty disappointed when I heard you quit. A whip spec as a Tribunal would be pretty strong, I thought, and I liked what I'd discovered of your character (along with you doing a good job as a Magistrate from what I saw).

Well, needless to say, I wasn't sure how to handle talking with at first, kinda got a looking down my nose sorta attitude when we first talked. But I really started to enjoy your character the more I was around you. Very sad to see you go, was wanting to talk to you but then again, that's how things go. Most of the 'looking down my nose' thing came from 1, my boyfriend burps all the time and it pisses me off more than it should, heh, 2, Manden as a character did not speak or write so well before he joined the Spire, and 3, my last character was mute so I think I pay a lot more attention as a result to the way people write their notes and the way they speak.

I'm sure I'll be back. I only have my name in four or five different places in the mud, I want it to be in at least 10 places by the time I quit! (Joke, right?) However, I just got tired of playing and need a break, plus want to put in a good deal of time in election campaigns and other volunteer work.

Zukir seemed like he could definitely fight and was better rp'd than most, so I hope you'll stick with him.

Thanks so much, that is almost exactly what I was going for. There were times in my character's life when I was close to wanting to join Fortress for various reasons, but the way some of the Marans interacted with the Tribs (especially Celebrimbor) totally turned my character off.

Thanks for your kind words. After all the time I've spent arguing about Spire policies my next character just might have to use some of that information to wreak some havoc. There are many situations with the Law that are pretty ridiculous, but I'm not going to get into that here or now. Well, I was hoping to interact with you at some point and of course kill you a few times. A few strategies were in the works . I don't think that kill was very cheap. You caught me unprepared and that oh #### feeling is one of the reasons I play. It didn't help much that my last teleport potion teleported me right in the same zone (double oh ####). Anyway, you seemed pretty tuff and good luck with your next.

Well, my last few characters have all been battleragers. My two suggestions for that last fight would have been a flight potion (which isn't the easiest to do when you're being summoned, and to have stunned the shaman and ran away. I was using one of the polearms you buy in the guild in Galadon, so it was my guards and Althrsis that did almost all the work there.

There was one time you were raiding the Spire with the two cloud giant rangers that you came very close to getting me a few times. If you'd had managed to stun my pocket healer at that time you probably would've succeeded there too, since me taking the time to attack the healer with my special guards would have been difficult and I would have had to remove my polearm so he could flee.

Though I could have done stupid-er things than what I did. I should have just finished the Captain and dirted the healer. Instead I attacked the healer. One of those annoying mistakes.

Anyway, Manden obviously did a good job swelling the ranks of the Spire .. there's always an irritating Tribunal to be found in the Spire.

That's what we do! I'd like to thank you for the Unspeak ambushes and for always planting a seed of paranoia and uncertainty in my head. "Is Tjok around? Has anyone seen Tjok around recently? Well, alright, we're going to raid the Tree, but if Tjok shows up retreat and we'll regroup." Too bad people weren't the greatest at the retreat-regroup thing; you tended to kill them too quickly for them to do so.
