You are viewing a read-only archive of the Carrion Fields discussion forums built from a snapshot of the forum database on 2026-08-25. The search page works, though it is not as sophisticated as the old forum search. This archive encompasses approximately 25 years of CF discussion. Today, that discussion continues on Discord (see the main website for a link).

I liked Krollos he was creepy and evil *good job*
You seemed to have issues with the class though *don't really blame you I hate playing conjurers*
Hope to see you again for sure.

Conjurers definately aren't for me. The final straw with this guy was when I was killed and full looted while linkdead. Just couldn't bring myself back to him again. I died more with this guy than my last 5 characters combined. Evil conjurers need a heavy bit of tweaking. The main problem I had with devils were that the only one that gave you barrier was lesser ice. The lesser ice devil did so many spells though you never couldn't figure out how to plan a battle.

Scion- I liked all of my cabalmates and think you all have some great potential. The cabal itself though seems to have lost it's identity. No Chancellor, no advisor and very little immortal interaction until the end. Then when the immortal interaction came it seemed pointless. I see great things in the future for Scion.

Valg- I was disappointed. You used to be so involved, but this time around I never once saw you or heard from.

As advertised. I don't pretend to deliver a different product, and I'm not sure why people keep acting surprised by this. You could roll a Herald and post about how Yanoreth never stopped to chat with you, too.

I have a lot of other hats to wear, and my interaction with Scion comes down to talking with its other immortals at this point.

The time you took to write this response is about as long as it takes to have imm interaction. I think most people aren't asking for much. Just a cool gecho once in a while letting them how evil they are, maybe a title, etc.

The scions get immteraction now recetly, I think Valg just said that he has handed it over to other imms.

But picking a leader is pretty damn important in my opinion.

You knew what you were about. Took you a while to rank, but that didn't stop you from being an effective cabalmate in RP and PK. Wish you hadn't deleted. Good luck on your next.

I could tell you knew alot, area wise, prep wise and so forth. Unfortunately it seems like the more technically advanced players generally have the shortest half-life term with their characters. By that, I'm not saying you were 'just' technically skilled, just making a general observation. Had you stayed on that night you died we've have had you regeared at least passably in no time at all. I died and got full looted by enemies and after no small amount of pain ended up being better dressed than I previously was so... I hope that dying and getting full looted didn't contribute to this.

I suppose 'alot' of our foes and breathe easier knowing that they don't have to worry about the gaunt that will drop them into a well-planned deathtrap. Wish you'd stuck it out...
Good luck in your next and try to figure out why your interest waned with this one so you can stop that from happening with the next.
Aytak
