Started the character in the first week of November in '03 I think. Only had the time to play around 5-10 hours a week. Got empowered in 3 hours. Ran around fighting and leveling when I could. It was a real bitch trying to level for some reason. Imagine that my limited time made it hard to establish IC friends at low levels, since everyone blew past me. Spent a short time as squire before getting full induction at 32nd level. Felt bad for the hero squires, but that's the way it goes. Tried to not worry so much about anything and just play all out and if I died, I died, who cared. Everything clicked with the character as far as things happening, and I really had more I wanted to do, but it took so long and by the time I got more time to play, I really just wasn't into it anymore and didn't want to log in. I figured deleting and freeing up a spot was the only reasonable thing to do. I met people I liked and didn't like inside and outside of the fortress. If you had an opinion, post and I'll reply. I will comment on one person. Golron, you're a pimp. You go balls out too regardless of the odds.

Thanks man.

All I can say is its a shame you deleted. Shamans can be great in fortress and we need more. MORE DAMNIT!

I hope you can make your way back to fortress again. I liked you (except for the first time, I stunned a necro, you walk in and holy word by accident, and necro gets away. Bad shaman, Bad shaman! )

We could have torn things up together, but alas, the roll of the RNG that is life must not have been doing well for you. All I can say is that you quit your job, get rid of your woman if you have one (you can always pay for one), and get a 24/7 connection. Then you can mud to your hearts content. Oh and I hope you find that spark that will get you going with a char again, I know whats it like not having one, and I know what its like having one.

Golron

I remember stunning one 'badguy' who would normally
eaten my lunch, and beaten me to death with the lunchbox.
And the one left was a transmuter who could not have stood
without the warrior front, Grem comes in and words me.
Ahh well, he had no way of knowing, and meant well when he
did that sort of thing.

A young elven spear spec who ranked with you long ago.
Lerrik, who liked your 'style'.
and Glil, who probably reacted to you more from 'my'
outlook as lerrik, than as himself. (He would have
acted the same after he had spent more time with you
so it was just a shortcut.)
Maybe a couple of other characters in the down times.
I can't remember if you knew the dark-elf guy. Maybe before
your 'time' with grem. Things all run together now-a-days.
Like when an old man mistakes his grandson for his son, I
keep seeing other people in place of the characters i am around.

Well see ya next time around.

Always nice to know when people enjoy being around your character. We could have had a bit of fun with you as Glilanthis too, had I been able to maintain the spirit of this particular character. I did notice you made an effort to be sociable with me, which made me more sociable in return.

Some things I felt you needed to know ic, nothing big but just the reason I did what I did. The reason is because first off you knew when and how to use the dwarf speech and I could actually understand what you where saying. Secondly I saw a very competent shaman that knew what he was doing. Good luck on your next.

It's appreciated to hear. I made quite a few mistakes. More than I can honestly feel comfortable with, despite this being my first character back here in about 3-4 years. Wish I could have kept the spark I had when I started the character.
