A hearty thanks to all the immortals who humored me with this character. It was my first time interacting with many of you and I thought you were all pretty cool. Drokalanatym, Shokai, Vynmylak, Arvam, Khasotholas, Saldradien, Sebeok, Calradien(?) and Arvam - thanks for the memorable moments.

Thrakburzug - I expected to die! What you did was way, way worse for this character and what a KICK BUTT penalty it imposed. It really added to the roleplay for me and I enjoyed the heck out of the long-term effects and struggles it brought. Thanks!

Velkurah - I wasn't looking for the tattoo, just an ethos change, but it was such a nice touch, it almost brought tears to my eyes. You were really fun to interact with and I had a blast. I especially liked the altered painting with the "healing" addition. You made my day on more than one occasion.

Valguarnera - A long, long time ago, you gave me the courage to continue a very difficult character. This time around, you were one of the reasons I gave up. Our conversation behind the Inn put a hitch in my plans that I never recovered from and the very minute we quit talking, I lost my motivation. I know that I could have turned it around and continued on with the paintings, but you had a valid point and I realized that I was probably nothing but a pain in the butt to the rest of the immortals in the pantheon and not a single one of them had any logical reason to let me paint them. I'm sorry I used you as an excuse to give up. (What the heck could I expect - a lich god/an elf.. I can so see where you wouldn't be inclined to do me any favors. *bonk self* thanks for staying real)

Vahletharien - I'm really sorry. You were so alive to me and I feel a bit like a coward for cutting out on you. If you didn't guess, my playing times are like one weekend a month and whenever I can find a spare moment (which is less and less often lately). It wasn't fair to keep you hanging, much less so when I didn't even have the motivation to play the character well. I had fun though and I am glad to have spent those hours with such a fantastic player.

Lathan - I guess I already said my farewell to you in your deletion post. I had a blast exploring all the places you dragged me to. I felt like a total newbie when I was grouped with you. Thanks for teaching me so much about the game and also for bringing so many smiles to my face. You are awesome.

Odrirg - Wish we could have hung out more. We have totally different playing styles, but we seemed to click from the start. I was always impressed with your character and grateful that you spent so much time helping me with my ethos change.

Verv, Optomkiptum, Sastine, Ghroth, Kashye, Abbe, Mairee (its the only name you've got and I STILL don't know if I spelled it right), Nimuweh, Lochzan, Delrami, Taborlaan *sniff*, Tordamier and all the other characters I interacted with... thank you so much!

When I was playing Altiniel I was instantly *very* impressed with this character (when I saw your first painting in my notes, before I'd even met you), and I was glad that you decided to join the Heralds. I got to know your character a little better with Verv. I really respected you and appreciated all the support you gave me in our encounters. It was depressing to see the note from you, saying you were gone. I hope the effort you made for the Lyceum gets some serious notice.

Only because I had a role written up that also drew pictures that I had planned to play, but now it's been done! Argh! Hmm..guess I'll play a Rager. ( )

Just when I find a Thinner that doesn't make my teeth itch and make my vision turn red, you go and do this.

I loved your character, mostly because you seemed to be so successful at something I had not even thought possible.....the whole ethos changing THEN even getting the Tat thing.

Odrirg Loved Minya, because she was proof that even the most flighty of creatures (those damned thinners) ....and an ARTIST to boot....could see the light and allow order into their lives....

He had a specific path that led him to his beliefs, but Minya had been open to the Truth later on in life, and had acted on it successfully, and Odrirg used you as a shining example to most of the people who asked him questions about the Religion.

When Odrirg kicks the bucket, I'll explain just how Minya's change effected Odrirg and his outlook on life and his path to his Goal, but I can tell you it was cathartic and actually unexpected on my part.

I have all those logs of our early talks about the religion then you on your quest....I'll post them when I kick the bucket if you don't mind.

I will admit, both I and Odrirg also wished you were a bit more bloodthirsty than a newborn rabbit. Summon + sing cold and all those other things you could have done would have been really nice. But Odrirg understood where you were coming from, so he stopped pressing you to join him on his bloodthirsty hunts...mostly because he didn't want you to get hurt, I think. Then your times fell off...then mine did...ah well.

Good luck on your next one.

Thanks! You can post them when Odrirg dies, IF they don't suck! You are way too funny. There is a reason behind the newborn rabbit thing. I'm a wimp and a chicken! Plus, I hate getting pk'd and even if I did know how to do it, I wouldn't want to ruin someone else's day. I even had a specter once that never hunted or killed a single person. How's that for newborn rabbit?

For me, the bard class is an 'entertainer' class. You did it perfectly.

In many respects, I guess thats what Optomkiptum has always been - A character rather than a 'ahead forging pk-machine'. For it, I respect others who follow the same lines. You did yours so well, I sometimes wanted to find excuses to empty the Tribunal pit onto your head - a literal showing of riches.

The paintings were great, its something I guess no one had tried and you pulled off perfectly. I'm not even sure I saw you at hero because once you got your songs, it seemed all about the interaction. It was perfect. I tried to involve you in a little plot-creating earlier on in my career but I guess the Tanadin thing was never meant to be. I really hope I added even the slightest bit of enjoyment to this because I can understand how it gets tiresome when your goals start crumbling. I guess I'm lucky Optom likes paperwork

With the zeal of a thousands scribes, Optomkiptum assaults a quivering pile of vellum!
Optomkiptum's Masterful Penmanship <<<ANNIHILATES>>> a quivering pile of vellum.

Appearing satisfied, the pale Svirfnebli dressed in Justiciar's robes quietly dusts off his long-fingered hands.

That ones for you, Minya. Enjoy.

Optomkiptum, Justiciar.

Thank you! I loved our interactions, too. I often found myself doing the whole "whoi op" thing to see if you were on. Very cool character (I demand!)

I thought this was a well-roleplayed character, and that you handled the incident well. (I think I remembered to comment on this at the time if there's a PBF thread.) I assumed coming in that you had considered the angle I raised, or that the player knew what the character didn't- that the encounter would end badly- but that the character would go ahead and ask anyway.

There's a good portion of the pantheon that would need some sort of finessing to sit and pose for a painting. Flattery, bribery, charity, and such are angles I'm sure you used at various points. Given my presence as an invisible spirit-entity (I reveal my true form only under certain circumstances), I'm not exactly the most paintable figure anyway. Good luck with the next.

Well I enjoyed our brief talks and such. I was a little unsure at first(ic) because of whom you worshippped, in truth I was trying to convert you but oh well you foiled my master plan. Anyways though a solid char and luck on your next.

I enjoyed our painting session and thought the character was an excellent one. I liked most of the paintings you did. The only thing I didn't like about the one of me was the lack of blood spatter, which I will rectify when I finally get around to putting it somewhere.

Yours was the only one I wasn't sure about. I had it all painted in my head before you even came down to the swamp, but you kinda threw me for a loop with the gore and bloodshed. I had to make some changes and I thought that when I finished, it looked UNfinished. I was sweatin' that one pretty hard, but you were waiting right there for me to finish!! Was a ton of fun, though. Oh, and Kie-whatever's follow up chalk drawing with the stick Minya in the stick Thrak's mouth? THAT was hilarious. I can see that one hanging in your cave somewhere.

of what I wanted to say in my own farewell post to you. I do want to emphasize that I thought Minya was a pretty spectacular character. She was one of those ones you find yourself wanting to RP so much like(through emotes and good use of language) that you totally get lost in her presence trying to come up with something semi-decent to return. I had a total blast lugging you around to all my new gotta explore places, and I can honestly say that once vahl told me you deleted, it was time to go as well. Too bad about the crappy playing time, CF definitly needs more folks like you running around. I still think you chose the wrong elf. But then I am definitly biased .

Thanks for all the fun...and good luck on your next when you find that off weekend to play on.

Lathan
