I am sorry to see you go, particularly that this character's life ended before I had a chance to put her through the religious trials I present Coven-Seekers with. The opportunity just didn't come up with everything else going on. Perhaps another time.
Therisa was, as far as I can tell, a pretty solid character. My one criticism, as it is for many gnomes that follow me and gnomes in general, is that you didn't really "sparkle". Gnomes are a popular race but seem to present unique challenges to players when it comes to dazzling roleplay, so you're not alone in this. I frequently jest with the other imms that most gnomes in the game are "miniature humans" without any cultural variations. I would have liked to see more things that would make other characters see a distinct Therisa even when they weren't engaged in deep conversation with her. Quirks, speech patterns, habits, flaws, etc weren't readily apparent.
Again, this seems to be an epidemic when it comes to gnomes (people have an easier time roleplaying the easier-to-emulate archtypes of other races), but something to perhaps keep in mind for next time.
Good luck on your next!

Well, one of my big problems with gnomes is that the general consensus for how a gnome should behave (amongst those who do throw in those quirks and whatnot) seems to be: Be as Annoying as Possible. They act like ADD kids with speach problems. And then you look at the fact that gnomes are one of the most intelligent races in Thera and the very wisest, and that RP just doesn't seem to fit.
But that aside, as far as Therisa's RP goes, she was raised in and around Galadon and left for the wilds when she was pretty young, then spend hundreds of years in the company of various other races, so I'm not sure even if that was the valid RP for a gnome, it would have been the valid RP for Therisa. That's really just justification though. My main RP goal with her was to be different than most of my other characters, who always seem to be happy, optimistic, and bubbly. Therisa was solemn, very pessimistic, and full of rage.
I don't know what else to say really. Gnomes seem to have somewhat ambiguous RP standards, unlike giants and orcs who even have a speach help file to give us guidelines. If there is a gnome speach help file, I apparently didn't read it.

Gnomes are definitely my favorite race to play. I see it like this...
Gnomes are the smallest and wisest race in Thera, how can they NOT be incredibly witty? Contrary to popular belief, intelligence and wisdom don't always equate to drab and boring. I couldn't really imagine playing a gnome if I wasn't going to have a bit of fun with it, and I usually seem to recognize a bond with other gnomes/svirfs as well. Gnomes stick together and help each other, adventure and have fun, it's something you don't see in most other races. You can't have 3 people in a group that can only kill 3 or 4 mobs before they have to rest and still have fun... unless they're all gnomes.
Appearance makes up a larger part than you realize. Just because gnomes have those high stats, does not mean that the other races realize this and want some little 3 foot gnome telling them it's not in their best interests to do something. I tend to play chaotics, but when it comes down to it, the basis of my RP as a gnome is on my size. Whether it's 'I may be small but I'm the best! Everyone laughs, so let them underestimate me.' or just a happy go lucky gnome that stays out of the way of the silly beliefs of others, gnomes stand out in a distinct way.
I dunno, I don't have a problem with gnomes acting crazy and rambling about things. Gnomes are your favorite crazy old man with a million stories... in a childlike form. How can you go wrong?

Enjoyed the small interactions we did have and really appreciated the help you gave me. Especially keeping me on track in heated situations. I thought you did the leader thing pretty good from my point of view. I really dug your little tests for applicants. Other than that, you seemed a little quiet at times, but then again so was I.

Something about Therisa at level 20 just clued me in.
Well, I am bummed that you deleted. I always had a plan in the back of my mind to rank something up and give you some backup. Figured you'd be around a while, but it looks like you had a rough time of it - I was convinced the cabal was on an upswing when my character kicked it.
Otherwise, I generally agree with your assessment, but you'll have to be patient with the cabal testing phase - not-so-offensive-powers/tough-sacrafices or no, the cabal needs more time and more variety of playtesting (i.e. shaman). The Tribunal keeping their powers bugs me, too. OK. They can call guards and hand out WANTED flags without their item, but an Outlander suddenly loses the ability to make deadfalls, hunt, and skin? And I think you did a great job with interviewing, as well.

Actually, the Outlanders don't lose harvest or skin, just everything else. But yeah, I used to sort of agree with the Tribunal keeping their guards without their item because it was kind of like a job. They kept the cities a place where you could sort of be somewhat safe. But now that there is a cabal actively trying to wipe out the cities, I think the guards need to be reevaluated. Wanted flags should probably still be able to be handed out, since there is no RP reason they would lose that ability. Just without the guards, the wanted flags wouldn;t mean a whole lot.
I'm surprised you knew I was Mairra. I tried to make the two characters as different as possible. But my typos usually give me away I think. I really liked Malkhar, and it was a huge blow to the cabal when you died. And it did seem to be on an upswing then, but then a lot of people just stopped showing up and some deleted. And it became stylish to help the Empire and Tribunal against us, or something, because random people would always show up to help them raid. Anyway...
Yeah I know it needs more testing, of course, I was just offering my perceptions. I hope they will be considered by the imm staff instead of shrugged off, which happens all too often.

You were my favorite among the Outlanders, easily. I had more of a real friendship with you than anyone else, plus your presence always swayed the odds in our favor even if we were outnumbered. A healer plus a druid equals mass destructive capacity. It was always funny to watch them all log off the second you logged in. Thanks so much for helping me gather equipment. I've been playing this game off and on for a long time, but I still haven;t learned a great deal about the higher quality gear.

I hated fighting you, and because of your play times I was usually the only one around when you were on. Pebble to boulder sucks when you have a blunt vuln. And it really wasn;t in my role to leave you be, even if I had no chance to succeed in beating you. Good job though, you are the strongest invoker I fought. I considered it a great victory that one night that you kept coming to retrieve and I kep beating you back until you went and got barrier rods and pretty much wiped me out.

Aereglen is a hard character to deal with. Your comment about my only being leader by default almost made me not want to deal with you at all. Mostly because the thought had crossed my mind as well, and I really didn't need to hear it from someone else. But you were way to strong an ally to just blacklist, and then later I realised it was all just your role to be a drunken loudmouth who says things he really doesn;t think about beforehand. So it was all good.
Like Massie, you were one of those who would log in and instantly swing things in our favor. I only wish you could have been in the cabal and not on the outside.

sorry to hear you deleted. When I first met you in the desert, i liekd you well enough. That was, until I found out you were an outlander. i just couldnt see being friends with you when your trying to destroy the cities that ive donated and done so much to help protect. i rarely participated in the taking of the fetish, only in gaining back the scales. wish we could have talked some instead of you turning into a complete bitch and multikilling me naked, then sending your outlander wannabe bard after me, but hey, whatever gets you off. just because i didnt particularly like therisa IC, did not mean that i did not respect her. at least until the end, then i just flat out despised her. anyway, good luck on the next. i simply dont have one more in me.

Oh please. The first time I killed you, I took a total of 5 items. I could have called in the younger Outlanders to fully loot you, but I didn't. The next time, you had everything I had left you plus whatever you could have gained in the meantime. You were an invoker, equipment is really secondary anyway. And I would have left all of what you had for you that time, but you chose to teleport and then drop link after the first of the fighting. You may have been just unlucky and lost link at the critical moment, but it seemed a bit too convenient to me that it happened right durring a battle that you were losing and right after a teleport. So I waited until you logged back in and gated to you immediately to finish the job. I sacrificed everything you had only because you had dropped link. I don;t really like full looting otherwise. Then with Aereglen, you were really not the target, just the poor bastard who actually got slept. I almost told him to just let you sleep, but it wasn;t really in my character to spare the life of an enemy.
I know you didn't like me,a nd I guess it is to be expected. I pretty much disliked anyone who helped the Tribunal raid us (which many many people did). But I must say I was thoroughly shocked to kill you twice solo. I never had any luck fighting other invokers, pounding vuln or no. And I'm sorry if I misunderstood the events listed in the paragraph above, but I guess it really doesn;t matter now since we are both gone. I have no hard feelings OOC, and hopefully you will feel the same.

its all good. just a little raw about stuff that mostly has nothing to do with you. i dont recall losing my link at all, but thats not to say it didnt happen. i have the worlds worst 22.6k connection and i lose links at the most inopportune times. i can handle losing, but once is enough. and i have never dropped link to avoid a pk. had you been paying attention you would have noticed that it was a mere 30 seconds for me to reconnect, not a half hour for you to forget about me then log in. as for saccing all, ####ty move. granted, it was all newb gear but still, bad showing, lost link or not. after the bard killed me you tried to jump in and double team me, but i was already dead, damn recall point. no hard feelings, just....pissed that #### went down the way it did.

Well, yet another character that I have deleted. My third healer, first Amaranthe follower. After Mairra, I really wanted to be in Outlander still, and I wanted to be someone who could truly be an assett to the cabal. So, I stuck with what I do best, healers. Healers are great, one of my favorite classes. Possibly my favorite favorite, actually, for many reasons I won;t bother getting into since most people think healers are lame.
Anyway, I chose sphere death and picked a role which would require me to be a lot more active in battle and risk-taking than previous healers of mine have been in the past. I may get this one in the Premium Battlefield, I haven;t decided yet. But if not, I will justify my actions here a bit. Basically, Therisa had been married and had a child, but her entire family ended up being murdered through a plot by the Galadon Thieves Guild. And it involved the Tribunal as well. I know that sounds a bit dumb, but it's just a summary. Anyway, so she had this huge ammount of bottled-up anger which drove her to sometimes do foolish things (like gate to attack invokers who always killed her). I tried to be as impulsive and carefree as possible, and certainly never valued my life too greatly. To die in combat for a sphere death Amaranthe follower should never be a fear, I figure. All part of the Cycle after all.
I got an exp bonus for my role, and then was empowered quickly with a full empowerment, and was inducted into Outlander quickly as well. I thought, wow! This is going to be a fun character! Then after Andrlos immorted, I became Harbinger and I thought, wow! This is great! My first cabal leader, lots of imm attention will abound as long as I do a good job. So, I did, or so I'd like to think. I didn't disappear like most leaders do. I actually enjoy interviewing and inducting. I always tried to take an active role in the cabal. Actually, all that time I spent online, I didn;t do much else.
But... this character not only suffered from a lack of immortal interaction, she suffered from a lack of any interaction. Period. No notes were coming in from applicants waiting to get into the cabal. Hardly anyone wanted to speak with me about the cabal at all. It's amazing to me to hear the long list of whining people who want to be in other cabals and can;t get an interview. I was always there, waiting for interviews. But nobody wanted one. Then those who did get inducted either disappeared or deleted. I never heard from Amaranthe once after my induction to Outlander. I know she had real life conflicts, so I can;t blame her. I also never heard from the "Ancients" as to whether I was doing well, doing poorly, or just RP stuff, quests, etc. No last name, no title, no tattoo. No leader powers. Nothing. I even had this RP thing where I was trying to speak with the Wood Elf King about their use of adamantite. I went to speak with him fairly often hoping an immortal might be watching at some time to help me out a bit with this. Nope. Anyway...
Outlander could be a cool cabal, but right now it is not. Basically, you have Sylvan powers with a different philosophy. But the philosophy of the cabal negates the usefulness of the powers against most of your foes. The sylvans powers were great for the sylvans, because the sylvans were protectors of the wilds. The Outlanders say, hey the Sylvans were protecting something which didn;t need protected. What we need to do is destroy the cause of the problem. Do any of the powers reflect that? Yes. 2 of them do. Subvert and Ignite. Are they really useful for fighting the threat? Hm. I can't vouch for ignite, having no assess to it, but subvert was practically useless. I tried it in many situations, many times, and the best it could ever do is slightly distract a lesser-ranked person for a moment while their non-subverted guard killed the subverted one. And this with my ability to sanc the subverted one. Against people in my PK range, it was a joke. I am sure Lemath can also vouch for this one. And you could say that it isn;t the powers that make the cabal cool, and that might be true if there were any imm interaction going on within the cabal. But as it is now, without the powers what are you left with? It seems to me that the cabal philosophy was designed for those who wish to take the battle TO their enemies, not people who wish to sit on their thumbs in the forest waiting for their enemies to come to them.
I know it sounds like I am bagging on the cabal and the imms, but really I just want to give some feedback. The cabal is new, after all, and there's only one way to see if something is working, and that is to do it and discuss what happened. So, take it for what it is worth. This is not the opinion of someone who wanted to take my power-character around and kill everyone, but from someone who was genuinely trying to play her role within the cabal to the utmost degree, and found the powers lacking in aiding her to this endeavor. With such a restrictive cabal, you will really need more incentive to draw players.
I could just be paranoid, but I got the feeling the Imms really didn;t like me. I tried to think of why they might not, and all I came up with was that I used beast call for more than just PK battles. But I felt justified in doing so for several reasons. 1) No immortal ever told me otherwise. What they DID tell me was to forget everything about Sylvan, because this is a new cabal. Since the beast call policy was a Sylvan policy... 2) I was a healer around by myself most of the time. The cabal restrictions made about 75% of those not in my cabal useless as allies. Most of the equipment I could gather to help me would not have been obtainable without help. 3) As a healer, I always protected and healed the beasts before sending them back to their homes. It isn;t like I just sent them in and let them get beaten then shrugged and walked off.
Well anyway, I think I'm done with this message. I won;t offer goodbyes to individuals in this message since it's already so long and I always forget people. But reply and I will respond. Thanks!

I agreed with this, so everytime I was on I was trying to help retrieve from empire, chasing down people, I'd kill mobs that an outlander would want to..doing all this left me in civilized areas most of the time..i spent any other free time I had in wilderness areas...finally after getting an interview..bam..you need to spend more time in the woods..that just sucked
This is just to point out a possible reason why there are a lack of apps.

One one hand the wilderness time qualification makes perfect sense. Why would the Ancients, a powerful bunch of gods and whatnot, give their powers to one who does not possess the same attributes they are hoping to encourage in Thar-Eris?
On the other hand, the point of the cabal is to bring about Thar-Eris, and the only way to do that is to destroy what is not Thar-Eris (the cities, etc.) and these things will require you to be in the civilized areas.
I do not forsee this changing. Not that I have anything to do with it, of course. It's just my intuition. What I recommend to those like you is this: Only rank so far and then get inducted. Levels 1-20 come pretty quick to anyone who is going to really qualify for the cabal anyway, so spend that time in the wilds and then go strive for that interview. Plenty of time to PK after induction. To the best of my knowledge, you would not get spontaniously uninducted if your wilderness/civilized ratio skewed.
Of course, this will be really hard now that there is only a mortal leader to induct the goodies and the imms of the cabal are inactive right now.

Your last line....I didn't do much else. As a leader, you are expected to do more through actions. You are the one that everyone should look to as the one to set a standard by. If you think your character did that, think about what else you could have done.
>I even had this RP thing where I was trying to speak with the Wood Elf King about their use of adamantite. I went to speak with him fairly often hoping an immortal might be watching at some time to help me out a bit with this.
Not a bad idea, but when doing something like this, post a note to Outlander about your negotiations with the Wood-elf king. Perhaps others would have gotten involved in trying to help you succeed and an immortal could work with you on it. See above.
>Outlander could be a cool cabal, but right now it is not.
New cabals always have it tough in the beginning. Especially for those few who make it to hero. Many are given the opportunity to shine and bring a cabal about, but very few succeed in turning a cabal around, unless that core of heroes keeps on moving forward.
Immortal interaction should never be a goal. It has been said before so many times. You make the character what it is, not an immortal.
Those who seem to get a lot of interaction are usually the ones who really deserved it. Becoming a leader is an opportunity to become great, not the result of being great.
I am not knocking Therisa as a sub par character. As an interviewer, you did a good job. I just think you could have done a lot more with your opportunity than you did.

If you thought I was not doing enough as a cabal leader, I really wish you would have said something. With Amaranthe on extended leave, you are the sole remaining imm for the cabal. I have never had a cabal leader before, and could have really used the feedback and guidance (and the motivation when things were looking bad). I remember the day you spoke to me about being made Harbinger, you said there were some things we would need to discuss beforehand. That discussion never happened. I really wasn;t even sure if I was a cabal leader, or just a subleader for a leader that had yet to be named. I didn;t know if I was supposed to take an active role in guiding the Outlanders, or let them make individual decisions and help them if they had problems. My role within the cabal was pretty vague really.
As a new cabal, things need to be explained. Fortress has been around so long, everyone knows the ins and outs of the cabal and what the roles of the leaders are supposed to take, etc. Outlander being so new could have used some guidance from the "Ancients" I was always telling people guided us. I'm sure I'm not telling you anything you don;t know. Why you chose to never offer a word of advice is your own decision I guess, but it's pretty much what killed this character for me. I suppose you wished for me to define the role of the leadership for myself, which I did to the best of my ability. But my take on the Outlanders is that they are actually led by the Ancients, and the Harbinger should guide them with the words of the Ancients, not try to set their own policy and whatnot.
I don't know. If you think I did a bad job as a cabal leader, I guess I have to believe you. Like I said, I've never led a cabal leader before. Actually this character was my first caballed character since 2001 or 2000, whichever year I had my last Entropy character. I craved guidance, asked the Ancients for advice over the cabal channel quite a bit, and eventually just came to the conclusion that the Outlander imms are inactive.

It's not a matter of offering advice. I did offer advice to help you as a healer through the NPC in the cabal. I can't make your character become something it is not. You did a good job with interviewing. Perhaps that was your strong point. When a new cabal comes in, the imms are there as a guide, not a rule book. We like to let the players make something of it. What fun would it be if the players had to rely upon the immortals for their actions? Outlander is a cabal dedicated to the destruction of civilization. That opens the door to so many scenarios for someone to step into. The titles mean something, they aren't just cool sounding names. What does the word Harbinger evoke in you? Nightreaver...Sunwarden?
It is harder for a healer. Especially when you are a hero and there are so few other heroes. When that happens, hunt with the younger ones. Help them get up to you in levels. Do you know how tough a rank 35 druid is with a hero healer following them? There are so many things that you could have done.
My posts are not criticisms of Therisa. Some leaders are remembered because of what they accomplished. Every leader earned the right to become one. Not every one will be remembered for what they did.

As Lyristeon said, a level 35 druid backed with a hero healer would be unstoppable. Follow, sanc, lifeshield. But frankly, that would be the cheapest damn thing I can think of, and if it were me who fell victim to said healer and druid, I would not only hate those characters but the players behind them for being such cowards. If that is the sort of thing you think I should have been doing as a cabal leader, I am even more glad I deleted.

I enjoyed our times together, I really liked your character from the beginning. I had planned on doing nothing with Delromsin but explore and travel, but you made me turn toward the Outlanders with our talk. Seems that you have to be a blood thirsty bastard to be an Outlander. Yes I agree with most of the assets you showed, except for the subvert ability which I used to a high degree. Infact I killed 2 Tribunals with the Subvert Power. Anyway, I really liked Therisa and hope to see you in the future.

Well once my role goes up on the Premium Battlefield, you can see that you were in it. I had a role precifically designed to prevent her from having romantic affiliations (seems all of my characters have these romantic relationships and I had begun to hate it), but Delromsin just wouldn't let it go. Not that it was a bad thing. I really enjoyed when you were around, and am still not clear on why you deleted. But I guess once a character gets boring for you, it's time to move on. Just like I am doing.
Subvert was an interesting power, but it boggles my mind that you killed anyone with it. I used it a LOT, and I mean all the time. I never once was able to make it do more than annoy the hell out of people. They would just flee, release guards, call new ones, and rescue them out. I guess had I been a warrior, that would have left me with an opportunity to fight them without their guards assisting. So... well I guess that is pretty cool.

#26852, "My thoughts on Outlander"
In response to Reply #6

When dealing with the outlander restrictions and so on, I get the same feeling I get when I have to pay my bills. I don't like to pay my bills, but I have to anyway. So, if the game is supposed to be fun then I think outlander is a tad too restricted for it. Now, take that train of thought and add in that the cabal is supposed to be about freedom, and it seems pretty ironic to me.
A lot of people whine about the powers it seems. I think they are pretty good powers. Although, some classes that seem to be more suited for outlander already get like skills. Such as rangers with pathfinding (+fly potion). They get butcher, camo, and snares also. That makes a lot of outlander powers useless. However, for some other classes, I think the powers could be used very potently.
The wilderness time that is required I don't agree with. I don't think it is hard to get the right time either. Maybe the true outlanders should have to deal with this, but a idea of mine is to give outlanders a power like deputize. That way they can sort of recruit uncabaled characters or even cabaled characters to help them reign havok onto cities and give those characters timed access to some powers like ignite or vandalize. I imagine a few punks giving a few posers some crowbars to go beat someone up.
On a further note about the wilderness deal: why has outlanders seemed to be so wilderness friendly? When it first came out I thought cool. It isn't sylvan. I thought they'd be more like the crowbar wielding punks. Now that I've experimented, I've found it isn't much like that at all. And that it does seem like Sylvan in a lot of ways. Or maybe that is the characters making it so. I'm not sure. I think some alternative powers would be nice though. Like instead of deadfall in the woods, a outlander could rig small explosives in cities or something. Diffrent properties for diffrent areas instead of being so one sided. Outlanders do need to bring it more.
Another thing that irked me was the total lack of allies. This could be just because outlanders is still new and not a lot of players have decided to play it yet. Although the amount of enemies outlanders has is staggering compared to their numbers. A evil mage in outlanders for instance, can only really travel with heralds. All other cabals oppose that character. A neutral or good mage has fortress I suppose. A neutral or good fighter has fortress and ragers, but you'll still find a lot of conjurers, paladins, duergars, and dwarves in those cabals which makes it pretty limited. A evil fighter just has ragers, and once again duergars and dwarves are abundant in ragers. So, leveling is tougher. It does make things pretty exciting though, but frustrating at times if you can't find a group to level with.
I do like the idea of it. I like playing characters that fit into the cabals philosophy. I wouldn't mind seeing it polished a little more. Thats about all I have to say about it.

In response to Reply #32

Yes the restrictions are rather severe. Not being able to travel with dwarves, duergar, orcs, minotaurs, antipaladins, necromancers, conjurers, imperials, scions, or paladins sure doesn;t leave you with much. Add to that the imms don;t want you to have alliances with Fortress either (considering them basically the early stages of a city) and you don;t even get help defending or retrieving. So bascially if you don;t have huge numbers, you will have a really hard time.
The powers aren;t too bad really, but not truly geared toward the supposed cabal goals.
I see Outlander as a heavily immortal-guided cabal, like I assume Scion is (though I have never played a Scion). The immortals set heavy restrictions on those who join, ranking and general life will be very hard. But there will be benefits for those who do it well. However, as it stands the immortals seem to have basically abandoned the cabal in its earliest and most crucial stages. Maybe they had a different view of what the cabal should be, but if so they haven't voiced this view.

The cabal goals are to create a world where everyone can live free of the restrictions the civilized society places upon us. The goal is NOT to be free yourself. You are an organized group fighting toward a goal, of course there will be rules. Just because you fight for the freedom of all, doesn't mean you won't have to give up some freedoms personally to do so.
And if you think about it, even in Thar-Eris there would not be total freedom since you would not have the freedom to say... build a city. So when you speak of "freedom" in an Outlander sense, what you really mean is substituting the rules society has created for the rules the immortals intended when the world was created. I mean, dwarves will not be free to mine the way they like, orcs won't even be free to exist. You just have to realize that Thera is a world where gods are real and directly influence mortals, and their rules are the rules which matter. Kind of like in the bible when God would destroy a city for not obeying His rules, and instead making up their own.

the immortals are letting the players develop the cabal? They gave you the idea of Outlander, and then they gave you the opportunity to use your own vision and mold it into substance. You're misinterpreting things here, its not that they abandoned Outlander, its that they're not spoon-feeding Outlander anymore. Like a fire, they made the pit and lit the kindling, and you're the tinder. Its up to you to decide where the fire's going to go next.
That's the great thing about this game, is that it truly is a player's game. If you want something to happen in the politics of Thera, as a player, you can make it happen, and that's what they're expecting the Outlanders to do now. Take the fire that they've given you and spread it. Splntrd

What can I say? Thank you for everything, the induction, the help and guidence you provided me. You were like the mother bear for the stupid cub I am. Always getting in trouble and you were always there to help.
I understood how bored you were, and when you are the only hero that shows up regularly. It really sucks to be alone in cabal wars. The last time we got together was a blast, the odds were not that great.
I wish you didn't delete, but heck I was contempting deletion after dying and being full looted 90% of the time. Playing healers ususally die of boredom, what is that they said, Healeritus? well, I was hoping to keep you entertained with some exploration, but then when I got home from the interview (job hunting) I saw the post when I clicked on Char board.
Evernstaine best of luck to your next character, play someone evil for a change, you are way too nice - but some people are just incapable of evil, you are the best!

I always liked Evernstaine, even back when I first met him and we had that ill-concieved plan to kill those imperials. Haha! Wow, that really didn;t work out. But I am glad you stuck with the role so long and were able to earn a place in Outlander. I hope you enjoy it now that you are in. I will always fondly remember the sound beating you gave Nilki. I only wished I had lashed instead of just standing in amazement of your damage output.
You know, sometimes I try to play evil characters, but I really have a hard time getting into them. Therisa is about the most hard-boiled character I have ever played for any length of time. I have more fun joking and laughing with people than I have plotting and scheming. My next character will probably be one of my usual nice elven types, just to help me feel better about the game.

Well, I'm kinda feelin bad now about last night. First in Galadon, with Bredrilin usin lash and then all the guards, was a one sided fight, though most of our fights in the city are, but I had no possible way to lag you to stop you from gettin away and Muiraputan just happened to deputize Bredrilin just before you came into town...so was intresting to say the least. Then after that in the Snow Worm Lair was really sad, I'd say it was more luck on my behalf and cheap too. Anyways, I liked Therisa even though we always were fighting and everything. We had a few descent talks inbetween you running in town and tryin to turn my guards then wording after a bit of a beating, though each time was fun and each time something different happened. Anyways it was great, so why did you delete if I may ask.....well good luck with the next and perhaps give the Spire a try

I wouldn't feel bad if I were you. Both were my own fault really. The first was just stupid, I had fled twice and was low on health. A healing prayer or a teleport of a word would have saved me, but instead I went in again. Why? Well, who can say really. The second was even stupider. I wish I could say my flight ran out right before you came in, but that would not be the truth. In fact, I saw you enter the area, walk to me, and come in. I thought it would be fun to see if I could kill the worm and get the gear, then leave like you were just some little pest of no concern. Top it off with the fact that I didn;t beast call when I could have. Realized that after I died. And of course, my flight ran out then my sanc. And I was a few mana shy of being able to commune fly when you finally wimpy-fled. So, bad luck in part but mostly just my own stupidity.
I liked Lemath, and if I were to ever play a Tribunal I bet we'd get along famously. But I can;t imagine myself actually enjoying a tribunal character.
