Ahh! con loss, then it makes more sense. Thought you deleted. We took quite a few levels together from around 25 I think. Think, as someone else said, that you were a great part of the gnome army and will be missed. You had a lost more hours than I thought, impressive. Guess if this is your first hero and mage and you manged to find some wands, I should be able to as well. Have fun and thanks for the helping horn when you reached hero.

Bah.. first mage, first hero, well first something else than drow assassin (I got one to lvl 42, named Jalvin).

With Pombe I somewhat learned how not to play a shifter.
First I wanted him to be an explorer and I went defense/offense but I got porcupine and ram... awesome forms, but poor explorers unless you are with a healer/bard (3rd tier forms were bobcat and grey wolf).
The young Pombe didn't really want to fight so most people I 've met must have heard me say: "I don't really like quarrels" but eh, pk is by far what I like the most in this game, so I found reasons to fight..

I think a fully prepared ram can make a lot of foes run away. I most of the time had a/b/s in my inventory but I rarely used them. (The Empire must thank me for the impressive amount of rods I gave them). I used barrier 2 times in a 1 on 1 fight and I fell kind of cheap. I wasn't sure when I would really need it or not.. so I just stopped using it except for a few fights against 3 or more..

I died a lot (around 20-25 mob deaths!), I made a lot of mistakes, but I still had fun and could also killed a few players. Last thing, my english is not very good so I did not interact a lot with others.. this is what sucked the most. Feel free to post any comment you might have.

(How the **** did I end up with a last name?)

Fighting you allowed me to not fear the ram or porcupine. Forced me to get over that fear and fight and found out forms are not that tough at all . Our battles were enjoyable and I did like how you came at me one on one, a very rare thing in hero ranks. Thanks for that. Good luck with your next.

Eh, I also found out an unprepared ram is nothing to fear for a warrior, even for a dagger spec who, surprisingly, parries every goddamn ram's charge. And the porcupine... shapeshift to the porcupine took longer than rem shield;rem dagger;wield staff so.. not much I could do except for a/b/s, butt Jinroh =) I did it only once though..

Keep up the good work!

Heh, do you really think I didn't know you considered me your pet eh?
What would a gnome expect from any scion anyway... I kept going with you because you would also help me gathering things, and I knew you were lonely and had no choice but to ask for my help (order it rather hehe) we had a few fun fights together.

Keep up the good work.

Well.. I have to say that for your first hero / first mage you did a pretty impressive job. Hrm.. could it be that you had a good OOC teacher?

While it seemed you stayed "low-profile" for most of your life, you accomplished things that few people will do with their first hero mage: winning fights , getting involved in cabal wars, finding ALL types of wands, fighting ragers alone, etc.

As for the last name, even though you did not have stellar roleplay, it could be that you were consistent enough with it (and did not delete after 100 hours like 99% of the characters out there) so that an IMM liked it and decided to reward you.

Anyway, good luck with your next!

I wonder who that OOC teacher might be.. probably some kind of golden vivimancer..

Thank you, and it is a shame we couldn't interact at least one time.

Enjoy!

The combo porc/healer while ranking is amazing! I also had fun with you but I would have liked to interact a bit more.

Here again.. language issue.

Really enjoyed travelling with you, Pombe was one of Tulvaluthian's best friends. I liked your guts and I liked your devotion. The gnome army takes a serious blow losing you and Delromsin. Pombe was more kind and giving then most lightwalkers Tulvaluthian has met. Good luck with the next.

Hehe thank you. Tulvaluthian was probably Pombe's best friend. The few runs we made in the Imperial lands were a lot of fun! A shame most of the time we traveled together was spent gathering armors..
