I know of at least two ways, and possibly a third:

(1) Certain things you can do will change your alignment, if you joined as a good warlock,
(2) Given a good enough role, an imm might be willing to change your alignment, once you're already a warlock, without the cabal knowing. (Avoiding anyone with detect evil could be tricky though.)
(3) Not sure, but maybe you can join warlocks as any alignment, providing you are not known to be non-good.

There are a number of "graves" like this. If it is not a bug it is probably people having a last fling as an evil by carrying out #1 before they delete, or whatever.
