Well, this was a fun character. As to the reason I deleted, it was not because I was sick of getting punked into the ground (though I did get sick of that from time to time). I'm moving in a short amount of time, and planning on quitting cf for good. Really. After 9 years it's at least as addictive as cigarettes.

On poisoners - this is a terrific class. Once again I'm amazed at the creativity and balance that the immortals have come up with. Maybe one day big game companies will get their heads out of their collective asses and hire mud veterans to do class design and balance. As another player pointed out, I played most effectively like a necro. I'll leave it at that. Also, weapon poison is great, and it's a great feeling to plant poisoned canteens on people. Big thanks to Flaerglum for showing me the ropes, and leaving me his ingredients when he died.

As for the chef roleplay, I found it very very difficult to keep it up once I joined battle. It was just sheer chaos most of the time, with enemies everywhere, and a constant hunt or be hunted environment. I don't think any ragers these days can complain about not having enough enemies.

Kackrik - liked you a bunch, you always cracked me up. I WAS always around when you were beating the #### out of scions.

Sardinthal - liked you a bunch too, still appreciate you coming to save me from the gaunt gang in emerald (my greatest escape).

Sharidum - was great when you were around. I was always more than happy to hook up the juice.

Kopiteous - did most of our ranking together, you were rock solid.

Zhelrantix - is it a rule that people who become leader of battle have to disappear? I probably wouldn't have been half as irritated with the antics of some villagers if you had been around to regulate. I think Drillmaster should be able to uninduct.

Tufudler - trip muhryl;trip muhryl;trip muhryl. You were always there to trip muhryl when I least wanted you to be. Then I'd flee and come back and get some more trip muhryl love. Sigh, it worked, so what can I say.

Kardok - Yeah, you were a tough bugger, and I shouldn't have been fighting you the couple of times I did. Sometimes I forgot I was a dark-elf thief.

Khlandhik - Sorry to gank you that one time with you know who. We needed eq bad That was really my only gank with this character.

Njaal - Irritating, you never let me pin you down and put you out. I would have gotten you if I had stuck around, eventually.

Naj - Wouldn't come near me unless with a gang. Feh.

Agarah - You were fun to fight with, though I never did get you. Often was interrupted by...

Kelrizza - I've never been so powerless against a character in all my years of playing this game. It's quite a role reversal for a thief when you can see me everywhere, and I can't see you anywhere. Most times I wouldn't even know you were on (thanks, battle heroes) when I fell in quicksand. With dark-elf carry weight, quicksand was death. All I could really hope to do was throw some fear grenades at you and hope they took, or just emetic ones to piss you off a bit once I died. I was waiting for the day when I could see you to knock you out and steal every last one of the ridiculous number of items in your inventory. Oh well, guess that day will never come.

Odie, being the chef of Battle was the goal of this character from the start, and the Inn was a place to hang out while I waited to get in, and try out my rp. Too bad I got banned from there in pretty short order. After Arvam rebuffed me (understandable, I guess) I just didn't really care.

Anyway, I may be back for one more, maybe not though. I'm moving pretty soon and just don't have the time to throw 30-50 hours a week into cf anymore.

Thanks for the props. I liked Muhryl from the start, if not because of his hilarious description. I remember the first time I saw you, looked at you and noted the 'fat' (quite a hilarious topic amongst my friends) and I laughed really loud. Then you talked about being a chef and that just doubled what I liked already. Muhryl was a strong character, another crafty Drow to give Kackrik the utility back he needed. Though Kackrik has a major problem with dark-elves, he tends to forget in the midst of battle old grudges - I can definately appreciate everything Muhryl did. A poisoner defender is such a great class to have around. Remember when I killed Kwalin and almost Vanar? That was jokes.

Don't quit just yet. HEH.

You were one hell of a well-played thief. Even though I could be reasonably sure that you weren't going to kill me, I feared you probably more than any other villager. That day when I was trying to find out if there was a policy change, I was basically worried that you'd choke me out, only to wake up to four villagers pincering me. It turns out there was not policy change, but you had me damn nervous about leaving the Palace at all that day. I fought Rettan once... Log enclosed....
This poison messed me up so bad I couldn't believe it. I had -13 dex for fourty three hours, the direction I walked was completely random for 43 hours, and every five or ten hours, I gash my eyes making myself blind for about 2 hours. I couldn't even think about defending when the Fortress raided to get back their Orb, and I teleported to the open plains, where I had to drop about seven things so I could get another transportation potion out of my girdle after they were coming back to the Fortress after raiding. It is too bad to see all the villagers dropping off. It's nice to have enemies, though I did not like seeing you around, which is the mark of a good player. Also, when you choked me out that one day, I did not tell Dryzzel to attack you, or know that he was going to attack you.
