You are viewing a read-only archive of the Carrion Fields discussion forums built from a snapshot of the forum database on 2026-08-25. The search page works, though it is not as sophisticated as the old forum search. This archive encompasses approximately 25 years of CF discussion. Today, that discussion continues on Discord (see the main website for a link).

Some of the special-purpose forums are listed below along with their replacements (as of writing):

You should carry around potions of return/transportation. Getting cornered in balator by centurions was a nasty was to bow out. I would have come to rescue you but having two thieves and a hero shaman in range and in Balator is just too risky. If I got jacked, I'd be 100% guaranteed of dying (summon to the room in the inn, room key stolen, dispelled, blind, cursed etc - I'd know because I used to do it ad nauseum in the past). Wayhleth isn't the type to do heroic, courageous deeds anyway. He tends to shy away from fights he doesn't think he can win. As long as you enjoyed the character, and hopefully learned from it, then all is well. I think you'd be better served going sword spec first if you are relatively new to CF. Whip/flails taken as a first spec makes it a lot harder to survive and rank.

I liked your character a lot. You died quite a bit, and seemed like you were fairly new to the game, but you stuck to your guns and did pretty well all in all - an uncaballed arial whip spec in the 30's is not the easiest thing to be.

Too bad I never got to serve you up my secret recipie.

Good luck on the next.

I am sorry I didnt hang out with you those last two deaths, but I am really busy half of the time, and the other half not busy at all. I really hate to see you go, you will be missed. I hope you come back with someone soon and dont be a stranger to the Inn! Good luck.
