Well, it was a long fun trip with Vashka, first empowerment, first tattoo and first Maran.

Meladori can't serve champagne anymore. It's too bad you got banned from the Inn, I had a lot of fun talking with you at the Inn. Those times seemed easier than recent times. I guess that's proof that the Empire had an affect on Thera, huh? I hope you had as much fun with Vashka as it seemed you did. He was a fun character.

Some people wake up every day thinking the world is going to make sense. How fun would that be anyway?

I didn't have any problems with this character until the little foul-up at the sunken ship with Sakard and Asin. It was then that I realized that you were gear hungry. And alot of actions after that definitely supported that. I don't know if that was roleplay, either way, I found it disgusting especially for a Maran which is why I ignored and brushed you off often.

For a while, I was thinking, "ok, this guy just likes gear a bit too much...no prob". Then the whole Ghuljun thing happened. I don't know if this will get my post taken off or edited but I don't really care. Both Vashka and I are hunting Ghuljun. Eventually Ghuljun agrees to a challenge from Vashka. They meet at the Inn in Dagdan and I wait nearby agreeing not to intervene. Vashka dies as I come in to attempt to rescue him. Ghuljun flees with a bunch of Vashkas stuff. I'm waiting at the corpse cause I don't want Ghuljun to make a phylactery. Vashka makes a deal with Ghuljun in which he will return his things as long as I leave the corpse basically allowing him to make a phylactery. I say no cause 1) Why would a maran allow a lich to gain some power 2) tactically its stupid to allow him to use a phylactery 3) Vashka was making the deal cause he wanted his armor out of Greed, something Fahnrore was very against in his rolestance. Vashka tries to reason saying that the phylactery will probably be useless. I kept on saying that Ghuljun could potentially use rot from the phylactery while Vashka was very adamant that it would be blindness. Eventually, after much argument, I do as he asks. He gets his stuff back and I tell Erenthell what happened. I hear a bit later on that Gwythinniel perished to Ghuljun by rotting. #### like this kinda puts my panties in a twist.

The sunken ship had nothing to do with gear, it had to do with your stupidity of not waiting for me to spell up and prepare, but just running in without thinking. Which is something you did all the time and that was the last straw. It pissed me off the number of times you charged in head first without a care for yourself. Now alone I could care less if you wanted to run in and die but when you are with others you need to take into account their situation as well. Gear I could care less about. It was just your mentality of not thinking before you acted that pissed me off and when you get others killed for it it pissed me off.

The Ghuljun thing was a deal we made to fight. It was supposed to be one on one and an honorable duel. You were not even supposed to show up. But then you did, I would have thought someone who was sphere honor would have had a little more respect for the situation then you did. The deal was that if he died I took his phylacteries, if I died he got my corpse, but no gear was to be taken on either side. Then you run in and everything fell to pieces.

Now that I come to think of it, Fahnrore was the one Maran I really didn't like to much, although I did hate him ya just rubbed me the wrong way from the moment we met. Guess it was the tactics that you used that seemed to show no care or regard for the lives of your brothers and sisters.

Number 1, you should've been prepared from the start at the Sunken Ship. Both Sakard and Asin had been sitting in there for a long ass time. You and I also had been standing there for quite a while. You mentioned nothing of preparing. Number 2, it wasn't often that I charged into battles with others and if I did so, I was always concerned more for their well-being over mine which resulted in several of my numerous deaths.

With the whole Ghuljun deal, as I recall a bunch of us had been chasing him for quite a while. I did eventually find that you two were to duel and I did stay out of it until you asked me to come in. As for the whole honor remark, Fahnrore believed that there was no honor when dealing with liches because they used powers beyond their own individual (Phylacteries). And in any situation, a Maran shouldn't be making a deal with a lich.

And you saying that you had no regard for armor??? Come on. Be at least a bit more honest with yourself. There were plenty of times when I heard you asking for help to grab something with a group member of mine or when I asked over cb where everyone was when a few evils roamed, you'd always be one of those that would be grabbing something. Once you Maraned, this changed from what I noticed, but you definitely were way too much into armor before hand.

You were the first maran Aem ever met, and was his first friend and role model. Well, you and Fahnrore. I always thought that a small part of Aem was a combo of you two. Some of Fahnrore's charge right in attitude and some of Vashka's ends justifies the means attitude.

On a personal level, I think I might have made the same deal with Ghuljun that you did, in order to get the chance at his bony ass. I understood why the cardinal and others were coming down on you, but inside I thought it was a valid, if distasteful, approach.

In the latter days of Aem's life we saw less of eachother, I think due in large part to your internet access woes. But it was always fun. Well, except when you would demand to sleep to 100% mana. Punk. You don't need to be at full all the damn time.

Damn, can't believe I forgot you man. I remember when I first met you. Were like my little brother. Always tried to look out for you as best I could. Then you became Marshall. Always did like Aemelius. We had some fun times. And yes I did need my mana most of the time, when wither costs me like 25% it is crucial. Storm shamans don't get that much mana.

No, I lost my internet connection for like three weeks. Then I rolled a new char. Vashka was losing his luster, I couldn't pull and interest before I lost my connection. Dying and losing what I had just made it easier to let go.

Well, it was a fun run.

My first Empowered Char and tattooed char. Never felt like trying before. My first Maran as well. Maran rocks and I cannot wait to come back tot he Fort.

So many people I intereacted with. I will have to sit down and think about it and get back to it before I start listing people.

Both these gals loved Vashka, each in her own way. And I've interacted with you with my current one also.

As a roleplayer you do emotions very well and make your character seem very real. When I played Sylvrin and you would make references to Xandrya and how much she meant to you, OOC it would always make me feel really good inside. It was cool to see that my character had such a lasting effect on yours. It was sad to see Vashka get so upset over the deaths of his closest friends and I really could feel his sadness and disappointment when Cersai fell in love with Jaedren. In a lot of ways Vashka was kind of a star-crossed tragic character, but he was fun too, especially when he was drinking. I always enoyed sharing a drink with you, no matter which character I was playing. Very good job with the roleplaying and you were a darned good Maran, too. Hope to see you again soon.

We didn't interact much but we did travel a bit together, and I must say that I've always admired your zeal and your courage. You were a good maran, sometimes a bit eager but that's your char and I respected that. In fact I also knew you with another goody char before Vorondel, so I've been observing you for a while now
