And very impressive. I enjoyed all of our work together. I wouldn't have minded at all to watch you move ahead of me. The world turns and the best will burn brightly and burn out, while those of us that plug along will eventually get recognized. I'm fine with the latter, myself.

Liralyth.

Two gold stars to the first person to figure out that quote. So yeah. Create, power to 35, write role, work on kicks, level to 45 very slowly and very deathfully. Log on, joylessly re-gear, joylessly retrieve, log off. Unfortunately, the real world is putting a crimp in the fantasy one, so I figured one's gotta go, I just hope I made the right choice. If I forget you, and I will, reply and I'll respond.

Empire

Astilamos: I would just like to say that you are the nicest, most compassionate Emperor I've ever served under. This is probably a bad thing. I count at least 5 times you had reason enough to anathema me, but I won't complain too much. You're a duergar a-p, 'nuff said. Keep on culling.

Khalizad: You make plotting fun! Yeah, you're a beast. Yeah, you better believe I'll pledge my damn oath to the Blade if it will get me in like with the fire giant axe-wielding warmaster.

Amadalie: I respected you as the High Priestess, but I so wished you would lose your temper every once in a while and lash out at someone, as a sign of power. Maybe that's just the evil dictator in me talking, but if you wanted respect you got it.

Izuvererus: You're a competent healer and that's always in high demand. Nice touch with the Zealot part. I'd remember watching Khalizad tear through a few dozen Maran, and then see Izuvererus: Praise be Lord Khasotholas!. Ha.

Liralyth: You really want to know the secret? Luck. I just got lucky. And I pushed for you to become Elite not because of your skills (I honestly never travelled with you enough to know how you were) but just so you wouldn't hate it watching your bloodoath rise above you. Keep up the good work.

Menzaen: Wowzers, as a drow you sure put a lot of trust in me. I'm sorry, but you better believe I squealed like a pig to all available parties to further myself. Damned if -I- wasn't next in line for SL. As an aside, Azeri respected you the most, seeing as how you were a drow freaking assassin in hero range. Good luck with all the plotting.

Rho: Up your game, man! Show a bit of that inner greed and treachery and it will get you far. For the record, you were right and I was wrong, but how you phrase it determines everything, which is why what happened happened.

Khasotholas: You the man. Not much else to say. You went out of your way to reaffirm my faith in the Shadow time and again. Thanks for the talks, sorry to disappoint, I'll make it up to you in a later incarnation.

Once again, thanks to the Imms for their time and effort in making a great atmosphere.

Menzaen is an active(if on brief hiatus) character, please try to keep that in mind.

I didn't reveal anything that wasn't common knowledge already. I tried to bear this in mind when writing my goodbye, but if you still feel I wronged you in my blurb, ask one of the Imms to edit my goodbye, since I, as a guest, can't.

Bummer. With all these deletations I soon be alone again.

I guess I am atypical Emperor.
Well I was close to anathema you couple times.
But then I thought OOC why would I screw somebody's char over such small thing. Lets give this guy another chance.

In fact I really liked your style.
IC you were more useful to me then all other shadows put together.
You tried to get something for yourself but you tried it nice way.

Couple times (with Liralyth and Ocelevan) you made me ponder.
Like 'Please explain again why I want to do it?!?'
But I backed you up. Now you go and delete. *GRRRRRrrrooowwwwl*

Good luck with next char!

Asti (Emperor guy, not Astillian)

was so pissed after you got freakin lucky with that kan and made me run in the inn, and was planning on getting you back severely for that humiliation. Ah well if you weren't having fun then guess you should just delete. very nice fight though, really didn't expect you to come after me

Do you have a gun? No? Probably a shotgun? Good. Now, arm it and shot your stupid brains off your damned head!

Probably most enjoyable and interesting assassin I ever met in game, though very very very impatient and agressive. Reminded me a little very MEAN rat. VERY mean rat. Or dog (very little dog, but again, VERY MEAN).

You should not delete. I could promise you a lot of fun, and I had some idea for you which I would, no doubt, realise in the future... but youre gone.

I barely believe in that 'real world stuff'. I just don't think you have guts to play imperial (take that).

Well done, enjoyed your character.

You kept running away from raids, getting into other people's buisness, acting like you were the thing...yea well that time you didn't come to raid when you were after that thief? Azharadon toasted me

Anyway, sad you deleted and good job

No, really, that was what I was going for, to be a little bitch thorn in the side of the Empire. As a Shadow I felt it my duty to know everyone's business, and made sure that they knew I knew (for my own personal kicks, of course). And the incident you are referring to, what I meant to convey was that I was a ghost and -couldn't- help you retrieve, but I couldn't admit my weakness in front of Khaso, now, could I?

As far as how I treated you, it's kind of hard to explain, but I will try. You ever run across those British punk kids? They wear the black leather vests with the spikes, have large pink mohawks, and try to act really tough, right? But they have these damned accents that sound like a kids' show host or something. It's just so funny! No matter how tough they act, to me (an American), it's just so funny to hear them talk in their stupid little accents. So yeah, that's you. You were tough, yes you were. But you had an accent reminiscent of a homosexual with a lisp. It's not your fault, it's hard-coded that way

Countless times when grouped with you, we would both go
"Ugh, Azeri talks too damn much, I want to bash him"

Good job, Azeri.
