Hey, no problem, Elrys never got the idea you didn't trust her. If you're talking about what I think you're talking about, that whole thing is a sub-plot that I've been trying to get going for quite a while, but haven't found the playing time to really make happen. So the amount you contributed to it was actually more than almost anyone else has.

I liked Airael, though never quite "got" her. I had trouble figuring out what you were about, but was always interested in a druid that decided to work in the inn. You seemed very elusive somehow, during the times we met (which now that I think are quite a few: the mask, the three-rings things and my personal thing at least) and there was a lot about you I couldn't understand. Like who you were loyal to, and why and that sort of thing.

Bah, ya forgot me. Ah well, guess we didn't know each other too too well. A shame I got banned from the Inn. And all for protecting the life of another while they were being slain. I wish I could get back in, I even held an event for the Inn, and still no luck. Ahh well, dems da breaks. Have fun and see ya in the fields.

i will tell ya one thing though about those fights at the inn. dimion never in his life beat 800 hps geared up.. most of the time he was in mid 500's hehe. scary that i'd even survive a few rounds of combat at any time.

Well I hope that is became obvious who said Immortal was *poke*. I'm glad you enjoyed the interactions and that I did get the sick and disgusted feeling out of you. You never pissed me off really. Darch is supposed to be confusing sometimes, psychic vampires muddle with his brains to much, and on top of that he's chaotic. I liked Airael too, and enjoyed our interactions and everything, except for the ones where dead little zombie girls threw up on me and so forth and so on. But yeah, good character and we'll see you around in the next one.

I started Akanten to try and make 51st, and I did. Too bad I ended up out of the Heralds at 50th (don't ask why, I'm still confused about it myself, and it was originally my idea to leave)

By your definitions I'm as much a newbie as you are, since Akanten is also my first character to get past the mid/late 20s. You're probably also a better PKer than I am, since I have yet to actually care enough about killing another player to hunt them down, regardless of who I'm playing.

The Imms are continuing to do a great job, which is why I'm sure once you get the feel of other classes you'll find at least a few of them just as addicting. Akanten's my second seriously played warrior, and I thought warriors would be boring, but the challenge of being half blind and without spells/communes/songs is much more fun than I thought.

I never did say goodbye to Shila, as any of the characters I'd met her as. With Shila as the very first felar shifter, I rooted for her often, not that she needed me cheering her on. Good job with everything, Shila!

thar acacia.. oh how i dread that place now.. heh. the first and only good elf dimion ever killed. there were a couple of jade elves in the vaults before that but i quit going real quick, because other than dark elves. dimion just wasn't going to kill another elf.. and then i did. expensive lesson..

dimion was also my first char over 24.. maybe 25 bajua i think was 24th or 25th when i made dimion. anyway with too many ties to those in the inn, i quit going. all my chars after that i made sure had no reason to go there. once i went with my second pally. and you made a comment about a dwarf speaking elvish, and i realized i had played dimion so long that if i hung out with chars i knew i would reflexively act like he would. so while i wanted to i knew it was a bad idea. that and it would have prolly just made me sad. hehe

I was planning to actually roleplay my way to death but due to the fact that the band lately left me no time at all, I had to delete. I hated doing so cause I had promised myself I would actually age die this character but it was near impossible to accomplish at this time. Never went good. I figured that when Illy told me I would lose my bond to nature a while and I didnt want to risk that when I was with the mask.

You made a really good High herald, I really liked your rp and all, grants on sticking it out, I did not plan too unless I was made High herald myself so sorry for leaving you alone.

I had tonns of fun as a player, and my character liked you, though you are correct - Thornarcrull tried to use you to gain cotrol upon the mask. He wished to use mask for the good of his kin, as he told you, though, and through that he would gain power for himself. That didn't work, though.

Hey.. All I have to say is well done. Very nicely played and I enjoyed all of our adventures. Being a newbie, I must say you picked the right cabal to focus on roleplay rather than PK. Have fun on your next, and you never know, maybe you'll get that PK'ing thing down.. it's sometimes easier than you think.

Was it just Airael or did the mask actually start to be fond of her as time went by? That I could never understand and so I did not trust the mask too much. But she did have a strange bond to it.

Without ruining all the fun little details of its internal logic for if/when I go back to it, the Mask does form a bond with those who wear it, and there are certain things it can only do with those people. It's also smart enough to know who will and won't be responsive to certain requests and ask the appropriate person accordingly, which, a lot of the time, would be Airael.

Side note: Nice art, keep at it.

Oh, now you've gone and made me the oldest lady in Thera. I really liked Airael a lot. Meladori still has many friends, but Airael was her closest and last of her original friends. You were the very first Herald I ever met, I still remember offering you a drink. To tell the truth, I'm a newbie too, this is my first character to make it past level 24. I still don't know a thing about pking, but I sure know how to run!

Meladori has a few tricks up her sleeve yet, but I really wished you would be there to help. You were a great Herald, I may be a newbie, but that much I know. I wish you the best of luck with your store, and I hope to meet in the fields sometime again!

Sheesh I missed you when I did not see you for a while. I had my ways as Airael though knowing if you had left or not. Sad to see you go, I saw it coming, but it always sucks when it does. I thought you were fun and that you honestly tried, even though you seemed to be very unsure how to respond to things sometimes. I tend to be a little direct in the way I interact with questy stuff and interactions, and I always got the impression that you were a little nervous and trying very hard not to do or say the wrong thing, and ended up holding back a lot. Don’t be afraid to run with your character, don’t do anything stupid of course, but let yourself flow with it a little easier and don’t over think your actions. You've gotten a lot better as time went by, and I’m sure in time, you're creative side will win over your inexperience and you'll end up being a top notch RP'er.

I expect to see good things from you in the future.

PS: The Sirine was me as well, and although she was very annoyed at people just showing up in her home all the time, she came to be fond of Airael... in her own crabby, bitter, jaded way

Ah, my little gnomey! I loved seeing you around the Inn and talking with you also. You were a very good character and I really did wish that you had stuck around for much longer than you did.

I would have quit playing CF when I was such a green newbie that I could barely find my way to the Inn. I remember crying on your shoulder after one extreemly bad day of PK deaths and then you and Nurwon and some Imm all stepped in to talk to me and keep me playing. I will be forever grateful because I am having a wonderful time with my current character. I never had a clue that you were a newbie, it didn't show at all. And thanks for the first gift anyone ever gave me...a chest of inebriation. It took me several days to figure out what it was for, but I knew it had to be something really nice.

I know exactly how you felt about Airael as you find yourself planning your life around CF...I tend to do the same thing.

I at least thought it showed... Me being a newbie I mean. I was glad If I was such help to you when you were around. I wanted to help you more at times but you seemed to take either a long time to reply or just left the room real quick. Either way, I liked our few interactions. Yeah fun times, I can't believe you actually mentioned/remembered Nurwon considering how many people you must have met over the span of Airael's life. And yeah it was comforting to meet a druid who wasn't a psychopathic sylvan as well

Actually, the reason I didnt even think of trying for Imming was the fact that Airael followed the sphere of death and in a way she kinda wished to take that final step. I dont know it might sound dumb but thats the way I wanted her to go out anyway. And I would remember Nurwon cause I interacted with him. I usually remember most people. I could be wrong though! *salute*

Airael has to be one of my all time favourite characters. I loved interacting with her, and I made sure all of my characters did. I have a certain list of names I always put in as soon as I log on, it's not a trigger or anything, I just sub-consciously type them, and 'whois air' was always there, even when I wouldn't see you for a month or two, I'll probably still do it.

As for Mirdulad attacking you, you didn't have anything to fear, I'm not saying I wouldn't have killed you (Mirdulad would've gladly taken your life), but I would've given you ample opportunity to escape. It's not like a Bard has much chance of killing a Druid anyway, even a wimpy Tree-Elf whore like yourself.

It's too bad you didn't log on more, I would've come after you in one way or another and made your life more interesting. I hope you don't quit for good, just cut down on your CF time, and only log on during Aussie peak hours.

ROLE (Just the original, not additions)

With her father being one of the High Elven kin and her mother being a druid of the Sylvan race, Airael Nei Loth was born unexpectedly within the Inn of the Eternal Star. Her father seeing this a strange thing, named her Airael which was high elven for “Eternal star”. Her mother added to her name when she took her child deep within Emerald forest later in her life to raise her in a calm and serene environment. When Airael was just a child, she felt that she did not belong within the city where her father had brought her to live as she was yearning for escape into the wilds. As time passed, many things changed before her eyes. A sudden battle between Darsylon and the Dark elves of the Underdark claimed her fathers life but her mother escaped with her far from the city, within the wild. There she was taught by her mother the ways of the druids. For long they remained hidden in the forests, finding inner peace at last. When Airael grew into a young maiden, she had already be taught all she could learn from her mother but the woods were no longer safe from those who would come from time to time and defile them, slaying all druids, dryads and brownies that lived happily within them. One night as Airael was singing within the woods, a band of orcs and dark elves raided her homeland, slaying all those who resided there. She ran to her mother but it was too late as she found her slaughtered with a spear through her heart. At that moment Airael’s spirit froze cold as she saw her mother lifeless before her. She felt alone and abandoned but did not leave the forest. She found comfort in the protection of a Ranger named Erlion who loved her deeply from her early childhood years. For many years she lived with Erlion within the forest, aiding those that were struck down or hunted by the dark races. One night was enough to change Airael’s view of life forever. She was walking within the deep forest, searching for herbs when a band of orcs seized her and took her hostage with them. They tied her to a large tree to mock her beliefs and lashed her mercilessly for many hours. In her agony and pain, she fainted. At that time word of her captivity reached the ears of Erlion and he rushed after her, hunting the orcs and coming to her aid. he slew many of them and cutting the bonds upon her arms and legs he carried her to safety as she slept. The orcs that remained hunted them down and slew Erlion as Airael awoke. In her rage, she cursed the orcs and pleaded the wrath of nature to awaken and aid her. The treants were the first to rush to her aid, as they loved her from her youth. They bashed and slaughtered many orcs, leaving Airael alone with Erlion. There she did not weep but yearned for death. She believed in death as part of life though and although she wished for it, she knew it was not her time yet. Leaving the forest, she journeyed through many cities and villages, hoping to find a place to belong and wishing for the time when she would see Erlion and her parents again.

With a deep, disinterested gaze within her dark purple eyes, this wood elven woman stands here, reflecting a strange cold aura. Her whole body is covered with bluish symbols speaking of the mysteries of the wilds, but one in particular can be seen, seeming freshly painted upon her as it reveals the letter 'S' upon it. Her hair are of a raven color and descend down her back to her knees, tied around several silvery rings. Her skin is of an unusually pale color, different from other wood elves and a bandage can be seen upon her right arm, seeming like it is trying to hide a scar beneath it. Upon her slim waist can be seen several vines embracing her and a small dagger can also be seen strapped around her right thigh. Her body is slim, yer well-built and her movements seem calculated and reserved when she speaks with her low-toned, feminine voice. An icy blue eye can also be seen as it has made its resting place in the middle of her forehead, sometimes covered by her hair. Her clothing and hair are adorned with many bluish feathers she has collected and even though she seems to be well over her maiden years, no wrinkle or sign of time can be seen upon her face and skin.
