I might not have liked our interactions OOCly on these forums and others, but I'll be honest when I say you were the one Imperial Uhlath had respect for IC and far and away the only one I knew was very skilled from a player perspective. I understand your frustration, which is why I'm pretty honest when I say that I don't really shoot for immteraction anymore. It can really ruin your fun when the person behind the imm-mask starts acting like a punk. I can't believe you deleted within a day of me--weird. Anyway, I don't think anyone can question your skill, which is probably the highest I've seen. First, every time I saw you I wondered if you were going to do a guitar solo. Second, your tricks with stealing the Codex and, I assume, planting counterfeits on the raiders was genius. Third, I like the changes that have been made to the Empire. The echelon system allows for greater flexibility in rewards and punishments. If anything, it has made me work harder than I did when I was in the old Empire. As it is there is more politicking going on because if you piss me off for any of a number of reasons I'll demote you and if you do something well I'll promote you. I'd expect the same from any Blade that makes it above me in the system. The only thing I hate is that with the current cabal wars set-up there are fewer opportunities for intercabal politics. The Fortress, The Warlocks, The Warders, and Scion will always be enemies. The Villagers make for uneasy allies. The Spire isn't incredibly useful as an ally unless it's in providing preparations. Nexus may be dying and even if it isn't is unlikely to ever be a useful ally. Anyways, well done. You will be sorely missed.

Now with the rebirth of empire you hopped right back on the bandwagaon and we can only hope you don't play things out like last time. Why take your time? What's the point besides dragging things out for the people that are already ready for the rest? I figure when you put in the hole in the ground cabal that all the coding wasn't finished so you'se gave me the runaround then, made me jump through some hoops. Frankly there's only so many hoops one man is going to jump through before getting tired of all that jumping. Combine that with a few other aspects that sort of left me bitter and you end up with deletion of a perfectly good character.

It's nothing against you personally, unless the entire concept of what's happening is entirely your idea. Then yes, it's against you really. I don't see how taking what the fort has with squire/maran's then instead of two levels making it seven echeleons of power makes for a better cabal. Especially one like Empire where getting anath'd can happen on a whim. Why #### over all the people who are trying hard to scrape through the levels, finally get something then get kicked out for no reason. I personally don't agree with that sort of structure, historically Empire has been a quick in/quick out cabal. The strong made it, the weak never made it anywhere. I don't see what the problem was with that, instead of stringing people along even more now, it's absolutely ridiculous. Maybe you have a plan, but from what i saw, it's not very well executed.

Side note: Betrayal of Scions, how can it be betrayal when our very own Black Sect Imm headed their cabal for so long? It's still an ebony sceptre. If you're going to make a story, at least have it make sense please.

And it's still not totally done since we keep adding things. The entire infrastructure is there, and the Sect leaders are coming.

What a fantastic opinion...since you don't know the plan...or the infrastructure. The plan is being executed as we wanted, we've had a small bump with personal issues with most of the Empire imms the past week/two weeks, but everything is moving again.

Let's expound on that my friend, it's not all about me, it's about everyone playing an Imperial right now. I personally wasn't going to go any further than a sect leader, being Emperor or whatever didn't interest me. So you can take your assumption about it being about me and stick it some place warm and fuzzy pal. Actually seeing how pissed off you are here i bet you're the one who figured out who i was playing. The problem here is, you seem to think you speak from some position of absolute knowledge... with logs to back things up. What you don't seem to accept is that your knowledge is very limited in this matter... and your logs, as interpreted by you, might prove your case... but interpreted by someone with full knowledge of what's going on, won't. This isn't to slam your knowledge of Empire, or the game, as it's clearly superb... but you're taking an overly aggressive tone on people who do a lot of work to make things fun for everyone, which upsets me a tad... and you're doing it without the knowledge you need to do so in a valid way... to me, that's the true definition of flaming.

It didn't work out for you, and that's a shame. But don't pretend to speak for the masses. I appreciate any negative input as well as positive, but you're speaking like you have an axe to grind, and I don't think you really do.

Your later statement touches on answering your first question. The new Empire is intended to be much different, and more managable than the old Empire, which, while initially successful degenerated rapidly. We don't want that to happen.

As for you being strung along... well... you were chaotic, initially. You deserved to have some hoops thrown your way to jump through. You were the first member of your sect. We kinda thought it important to make sure you were right for the job.

I have never, and will never, allow ooc issues to influence me. I have no way of telling who plays who, and if I did, I wouldn't bother to check, because I simply don't care.

I can only see what's presented to me, and that's what i take issue with. If you'se feel like hiding the rest of it from us forever then that's definitely your perogative. As far as the ooc issue, i'd wager a month's wages it wasn't you. Not too worried about that.

You inspired me to go above where I believed I was capable of going. Unlike a certain shadowy voice which made me roll my eyes and feel like quitting out early, you knew how to lead and how to inspire others to follow you as a leader. I was fully expecting you to be the sect leader if not more.

This is a harsh blow to the new Empire and we'll definitely miss you.

Unfortunately, it doesn't soften the blow. This will set us back greatly. There was a lot of ####, still is, but what can you do.
