Damn it. I finally had a day I could put some time into the character and I find he's autodeleted. I think I last played him on 12 or 13th of Feb, so was hoping it wouldn't happen so soon.
I am really disappointed about this, because the character was a very successful one from my point of view. I was into his role, spectred easily enough (no, you don't need permas) and had a 100% pk ratio which included marans, pallies, sylvans (including a pwk on Starkad when I was forced to try because rescue was on its way for him - heh), and some evils too. I had no problem killing evils, though some wondered why I did. I don't view evilness as a brotherhood.
Liked being uncaballed. I personally prefer the uncaballed life when attempting something ambitious, so that cabal obligations can't interfere.
Well, so much for my attempt to lich. If IC things go well, something ooc messes it up. I'll have another stab at it one day, but not whilst evil seems to be in power and necros seem to be a dime a dozen.
I did want to ask something about liching though, in general terms. I emailed this query in but never heard back.
It was:
when rp-ing with mobs as a necro, they are usually unresponsive. Normally that's not a problem, but as a necro you NEED a response. So my question is, should I rp the same scenario again (which seems stupid from an rp point of view, but sensible from getting help in a lich-quest point of view) or should I give up because that mob didn't help me? I really was quite stumped on this one.
