Well your were good friend for quite sometime to Griimbling, and yes it did sadden me especially as the player to have to turn my back on you. But I think towards then end there I chose to to let you walk, as long as I didnt see you with the drow or what now..Well played nevertheless and I liked your character alot...

heh, yeah was no fun, but I believe that if I turned on Aneriasha I would be completely countering Nurwons role. I was content at not fighting any sylvans other than Iell, in fact I honestly could have gotten either you are Arduarn bad many times in the weald..especially if I had called enemies of the grove to come (but they were Nurwons enemies also..*grins*)

Kinda took me a while for reality to set in when out of nowhere you and Arduarn nailed me bad near the inn..left a bad taste in my mouth as a player (and sent Nurwon into a rage IC) that ESPECIALLY Arduarn would do that, with it being oh, 5 minutes rl time that I spoke to him in the weald about how I meant no harm to him. actually it kinda pissed me off because I was in the SAME room as him fully prepped, with an assortment of wrath/poison weapons *mutters*

but oh well...screwed up his RP, ended up getting bored, and I apparently had a bad habit of fighting you and Iell unprepped on full moons

sorry if this sounds all too negative but yeah we had some good times, just that it pained me as a player that you actually turned on me causing me to fight you..kinda thought we would just lose touch and never have to fight. good luck out there, and don't worry I'm already back *winks suggestively*

Your role is:
Added Sat Dec 21 02:35:17 2002 at level 30:
In a small floating city high above Thera's ground a cloud giant is born. Eyes gaze in awe as his mother happily hefts her child into her gigantic arm. On this moment, she decides to name him "Nurwon", after his proud and strong grandfather, who once was head of the villages town council. Though a joyous time, recently their has been a string of tragedies. Dark arial's and evil magi have formed alliances to reape the fortunes of destroying the great cities of the air and all of the giants homes. Upon a raid to Nurwons village, his parents panic and send him off to seek refuge with some of their old friends in the city of Galadon. Though as fate would have it, they were double crossed and their friends partook in the
slaying of them with the arial's. After looking down at their bloodied corpses and had taken all the valuables from their home they looked down at young Nurwon. Grinning evilly one of snatched them up and told the Arial warrior that for their help they could have Nurwon as a sacrifice to their gods. With a smirk the arial slashes a sword through both of the traitorous giants leaving them dead in cold blood, and flies off with Nurwon in his talons. As the clan of bandits regroups they land for a drink by a streams side
near the Feannwyn Weald west of Galadon. A small snap of a branch is
heard overhead as the horde of arials are suddenly ambushed by a small hunting group of men covered in forest garb! Vines grow from the ground and and pin the dark birds to the ground as the hidden warriors slam their swords into their hearts! One of the bird-men manages to fight off the vines and sores into the sky! One of the forest warriors looks up, and with just a raise of his hand a bolt of lightning scorches through the sky shooting right through the
arial leaving his charred corpse on the ground! Stepping through the corpse sodden ground one of the men removes his hood and grins at the cloud giant baby. Lifting him up into his arms he carries him back to his home, and the rest of the warriors seemed to vanish
into the trees. Young Nurwon grew, and quickly learned the ways of the forest ranger. To be quick on your feet, always ready, and to be one with the forest that gives you your strength. Nurwon never knew of what had happened to his parents until one day... He was not prepared for it, but a dark magi was thrown onto the ground
before his guild by two rangers. He was being interrogated for supposedly helping burn one of the forests to pave the way for new city paths. He claimed he was not but the two rangers were not satisfied! They had him empty his belongings and they came across a diary or journal of some sort. with a grin one of the rangers began to read it out loud to mock the dark magician but soon cut short as he read how he took part in a raid of many floating cities inhabited by cloud giants. The ranger nervously glances at Nurwon to see his reaction, and when satisfied continued to read. He spoke of how they had come across a baby giant wich they had planned to use for target practice! With that, overcome with anger Nurwon charged foward
and with one swift movement severed the magi's head clean from his body! Still seething with anger Nurwon dropped to his knees in tears.
After much time had passed Nurwon had done some thinking and had much
thoughts on philosophy and how he viewed life. He had soon concluded that those that kill without reason must be destroyed themselves. Life was a precious thing that must be preserved, and senseless acts of murder were simply not tolerable to him! Stories of Orcs and others of the dark murdering for the sheer joy of death simply sickened him and he set out to defend the weak and destroy the unjust of Thera........

Added Fri Feb 14 03:32:45 2003 at level 49:
Today is a day that Nurwon Du'Roth will never forget. He sits in the Inn of the Eternal Star relaxing and drinking with others when the last thing he could have imagined happens. A young woman stalks into the room and glares at one of his friends at the bar and unleashes an attack upon her, sending beasts of the wild to rip her to pieces. His friend tries to flee and make a run for the door but as she steps outside plants and vines stab into her skin and hold her down. With a burst of light the druid shot forth a beam of shear energy into the drow, leaving nothing but a charred corpse. Nurwon gazed on at the lifeless body in disbelief and looks up at the smug face of the attacker. In sheer rage he leaps to attack his companions assailant with his swords unsheathed. Though almost as soon as nears his enemy a large tree comes to life and steps in his path, sending the confused giant stumbling to the ground. The battle esnsued... yet the druid overcame Nurwon and sent him into shame...Soon later he had found that all he had been allied with,
have turned their backs on him. All happened because this druid seeked the blood of his friend, because of her race... Such a concept of hating a being based solely on their bloodline drove Nurwon nearly insane! It was just not logical to him...how one could slay something innocent simply because of it's ancestry. Those that killed so were defilers to life itself...a crime much much worse than any destruction to the wilds... and those that acted so
must be ended themselves...

Your vision clouds for a moment as you gaze into the thoughts
of Nurwon.....
The fog clears and you find yourself in a vast room that seems
to extend for miles....Your eyes wander and focus in the middle
where you see the stricken form of a giant on his knees clutching
his head. Just as you begin to wonder what is causing him such
agony a deep ominous voice booms out,
"Stop your sniveling Nurwon! You know what you must do!"
You glance over in the direction of the voice and see in the far
right corner of the room two glowing eyes peering angrily at the
giant in the middle. Shadows seem to swirl and come to life all
around the fiery glare of this being yet never seem to take form.
Just as abrubtly as the first another voice bellows out,
"How can you just say that! How can you be so heartless!?"
"The grove has aided and given shelter to Nurwon his entire life!"
"He cannot just turn on them!"
Your view switches and you peer to the left to see a figure
surrounded by blinding light. It's figure is difficult to make out
amidst the light, yet seems to radiate calm and peace into the
room. The beast from the right snorts then growls the reply,
"You fool! The grove has already turned their backs on Nurwon."
"Many of them even seek his blood now, such as he should seek
theirs!"
The being in the middle groans slightly, then shakes his head
trying to shake away the pain of his predicament.
The figure surrounded in light yells back,
"Nurwon has already seeked Iell's blood, why must he hunt the
others of the woods??"
Chuckling the beast in the darkness snorts in reply,
"Isn't it obvious you fool? They will aid the druid. And besides that
they are guilty of exactly the same crimes as that blasted one!"
"They would spill the drows blood just as readily as Iell...you
heard as well as I Griimblings words! You cannot deny this!!"
With a sigh the being in light lowers its gaze upon the fallen giant
then says,
"Aye you may have a point there....but still this is no reason to
shed any more blood...."
In seemingly blatant rage the dark one bellows out,
"NO REASON FOR BLOOD TO BE SHED?! Have ye lost ya mind!?"
"They be killing blindly in the name of nature! They make a
mockery of the mother!"
"The grove has no respect for the power of the mother! They
treat her like an elderly man that is in constant need of care!"
"It is sickining...nature is resilient...never faultering. Nothing
a mortal could do could defeat nature...for they are of nature
themselves."
"The grove must be destroyed in order to end this un-needed
spectacle which makes de mother look pathetic"
Unable to stand it any longer the giant stands up and yells out
"BOTH OF YAS SHUT YE YAPS!!!"
With that the room collapses in on itself and you are thrown
back to your own mind and thoughts.......

Added Tue Feb 18 15:46:47 2003 at level 49:
As you peer at Nurwon your thoughts cloud again and are
replaced by his.....
The same room as before has appeared only this time is seems
a bit darker than last. The being of light's shine has diminished
a bit and the being of darkness seems to have taken more control.
The dark one glares across the room at the light and shouts in a
near fit of rage,
"Now do you see!? You stupid fool, now you surely must see the
grove must be put an' end to!"
"Nurwon had spared Arduarn and Griimbling's lives countless
times in the woods, when he should have slayed them!"
"AND FOR WHAT!?"
"As soon as they catch him out of de woods they slay him ruthlessly
as he should have done to them all those many times!"
"They stole his belongings like cowering orcs after slaying a defenseless elf! Those defilers must fall"
The being of light with saddened eyes gazes upon the figure of Nurwon in center as the darkness of the room begins to engulf him.....the form of light looks up to the fiery eyes and says,
"So be it then........"
With that the form of light disappears in a twinkling shimmer and the room is
engulfed in darkness. With a flare in the eyes the being of darkness says in deep gutteral rasp,
"The time for such foolish kindness has come to an end...."

Before you stands an aging yet regal looking figure.
A cool breeze seems to permeate from underneathe
his feet as he casually floats into the air at will. His
eyes are the eyes of a hunter. Sharp, and and always
wary these eyes track your every move. They shine
an almost green glow in the light, like a newly grown

I honestly do not have the patience to type all my goodbyes out again so if you want to reply then do so and I'll just see if I can find my role and such again.

According to Dioxide's, other things were also wiped, a problem with the forums. So things may come back. Just in case they don't, I was lucky enough that my browser could retrieve the goodbye I'd typed out shortly before everything went wacky, so here it is again.

IC:
You forgot me, but we didn't know each other that long anyway. We shared a dedication to friends, although it looks like I try a little harder to make them, and you've had better success.

OOC:
This is my third truly serious character, the others were all given up on before their time. I've never had a hero before, and I've made it this far this time because I didn't give up, although I originally intended this character as a test to see how far I could get a warrior. I was almost to the point where I could help you hero, if you'd put off deleting one more week we could've helped each other hero. I'll still try without you, but I was looking forward to at least one last trip.

By the way, I got similar Imm treatment early this time around. First I had to change my name, then I got stuck in the desc room. My desc has been the same barely passable one since, I really ought to update it along with the role update I've been planning on. Heck, at least I finally chose a last name. Once merely 'Aka', now 'Akanten Eule'. For anyone who cares, the original name was meant just to be short and simple, I somehow completely missed that it also means 'Also Known As'.

ack... I forgot that some of my comments were in response to Nurwon's, so for those who missed it, I clarify:

Yes, he forgot to mention me in the original goodbye, not like I made much of a difference on his life. Also, he stated (I think) that Nurwon was his 4th character, and his first to get this high. He said that he's been dedicated to his friends to the point where he'd have picked 'shpere loyalty' if there was one. Also, he got sent to the nasty little room Imms send people who lack or need to 'fix' something (desc, etc), though I don't know for certain if that was with Nurwon or a previous character.

um...I said 4 to choose an average number..I've had alot of chars that didn't even see their 20th title, which I don't really count. my only REAL chars were Quid and Nurwon. and me getting sent to the room was only with my first few chars (that drove me insane, I couldnt think of a desc off the top of my head like that hehe) and yes I wished I chose sphere reason/revelation or if they had it *winks at IMMs* sphere of loyalty

I did forget about you..umm why would you post so much info for everyone to see on a public board? well aside from that yeah I am kinda regretting deleting, but when I think about it, Nurwon really didn't have much of a future and I woulda got bored fast. you seemed like a solid warrior and amused me how upset you got if you couldn't tank well Nurwon had a long life with alot of interesting interactions.

And no I don't think it'll be coming back on the boards because if you noticed, only ones on the battlefield to disappear were the ones that werent official death angel posts. and now everyone that replied isn't gonna wanna repeat themselves so now I gotta remember what they said..I Have ENOUGH things on my mind!! hehehe. ah well good luck man, and don't worry, I got another char in the works

I said that much because the OOC stuff doesn't matter ICly, and the IC stuff isn't exactly a secret or anything. All anyone would have to do to learn any of it otherwise, is just ask me.
