You are viewing a read-only archive of the Carrion Fields discussion forums built from a snapshot of the forum database on 2026-08-25. The search page works, though it is not as sophisticated as the old forum search. This archive encompasses approximately 25 years of CF discussion. Today, that discussion continues on Discord (see the main website for a link).

Some of the special-purpose forums are listed below along with their replacements (as of writing):

You were so obviously a vet, why this? I'm surprised wight failed, even with the few hours, though perhaps I shouldn't be. Your last line about holding a grudge made me hopeful we'd have more interactions.

Trib is boring. Come to the chasm!

You probably meant mummy or vampire.

Yeah, that's why I was so surprised. A few hours before that he said he was going to wight. We discussed:

You tell Aunezh 'Is it true you plan to become a wight, child? I was there for another's becoming in the woods. Fascinating.'

Aunezh tells you 'Indeed, Ymstrecca. I need the Spire to continue research into my affliction. But it is becoming clear that wightdom is the safest way to deal with such.'

You tell Aunezh 'I admit some surprise. Most such as yourself seek to be a mummy, or perhaps a vampire, to be sure.'

Aunezh tells you 'I do not believe the powers of a Wight are significantly lesser than the paths you mentioned, given the risks and my own limitations due to my afflictions.'
