Will you ever come back and see this? I'm not sure, but even a long time after we actually interacted, I still remember some of our roleplay. This was a very interesting character who always felt like his backstory was just one step ahead of where I was. A shame that we never got to have any narrative conclusion, but I drifted away also.

Hey, this was me! (I have the same handle on Discord, not sure if you're active on there or not.)
I'm super flattered anyone remembers a non-hero from a year ago well enough to ask about him. I'm still around, my RL kept trying to get crazy around that time and it gobbled up a few characters in a row, including this guy. I just lost the thread of his arc and so when I ate a couple dumb deaths I ended up letting him go.
I doubt the PBF's worth getting, but I'd be happy to paste the role or some such if there's anything about his backstory you're curious about. I remember Lysari very well and enjoyed all of our conversations, even though Vel was always slightly nervous you'd do something in front of him that the cherub would demand a response to & we'd be forced to become enemies.

I wasn't planning on posting so much (I had honestly mostly forgotten this character, who never quite got off the ground), but I was bored at work and ended up grepping the logs where we talked about this. My conclusion was that our conversation was KIND OF A BANGER, ACTUALLY. Some cool dialogue on both sides, if I do say so myself.
Here it is, for anyone who wants to check it out: http://www.qhcf.net/premium/logbin/69f09d0f88bde
