As always seems to happen when I really get into a character work and personal life picked up to the point where I had to let it go. I would have just deleted, but I was hoping things would slow down before I auto'd. Alas, no such luck.
I don't use discord so I wanted to leave a note here. Thank you to everyone in trib and to Rillan for an amazing experience. I took a lot of hate from the outside, as always seems to happen, but I hope my fellow tribs enjoyed Xaenov and I hope I was able to help you as needed.
In regard to our friends in the Village. The log Rthar posted was real. I did break the law. It was completely accidental, however. It was after a really long day at like 2am and I really should have been sleeping instead of playing. Rthar was raiding for the Head and I assumed he was wanted. Turned out, he wasn't. I didn't realize until after he died.
I had a few options here. Larusae and Krenthil had both made similar mistakes in the recent past without any serious issues. Instead, I decided to rp it out. As you'll see in my role, Xaenov was the perfect Drow in many ways. There were not witnesses, and Rthar had already lied about me in the past so I figured I could get away with it.
And I did. I denied it and twisted the events as necessary. I thought if Ishuli or any other imm asked me about it I would own up (also, part of my role) but that never happened. So I shrugged and kept on malicing Villagers. Which is pretty much my favorite thing to do.
You'll also notice in the role Xaenov hated Imperials. I never got to play this out because Empire was always very weak in comparison to years past. I should have taken anathema flaw to force the issue but it was always my plans to turn on the Empire when the opportunity presented itself. I think Trib vs Empire would be a very interesting rp (and pk) layer to add to the game. Maybe next time.
I hope you're all enjoying orctober/forms. I'll hopefully be back early next year.
Cheers, Xaenov
